Just saw your response—thanks... 🙂

I read that exact book about a year or two ago. It was quite interesting...
There’s a certain weight to what Castaneda writes... a sense that there is deep truth and genuine meaning woven through his books...
I’ve always found Carlos Castaneda to be an intriguing figure, partly because about six months ago, I had this dream where my brother, Karl, told me that Castaneda was actually worth checking out. He recommended two of his books—I can't quite recall the titles right now—but he insisted they were essential reading... My brother passed away early last year at just sixteen, taken by some senseless accident that happened so fast it left us all reeling. Now that he's gone from this physical world, everyone talks about him like he was an angel, which wasn't far from the truth; he was such a bright, curious kid with so much potential ahead of him... R. I. P. Karl...
My apologies... I was a bit off... I drifted away from the main topic......

I find myself trusting you, Zachary Cook2, and I truly value your perspective... 👍
I wish people like you would speak up more often on this forum and actually share some of that knowledge and perspective with the rest of us... 🙂 Still, on the other hand—I get where you're coming from... 😉

Zachary Cook2 As specified by Morgan King77...
If only readers actually had the grit to grasp what Don Huan was saying... we might be living in a literal paradise right now...

Life just feels more vibrant when you have that extra surge of energy, more complete...

The whole thing about energy... it’s just... 🙏Well put. That energy... ah, that energy...

It’s truly remarkable how much people struggle to grasp what’s staring them right in the face... 🙄 We’re all such strange creatures, aren't we... everyone perceives things through their own unique lens, grasping just as much or as little as they can, but I find those driven by an intense, restless need to be particularly fascinating... I don't have much to add here... just observing the patterns as they unfold... It all comes down to anything that doesn't fit within their rigid, cookie-cutter mental frameworks... simply because they lack the capacity to grasp it...
A message to the "wise guys": for heaven's sake, just open your minds and open your eyes...

Energy is everything—past, present, and future. Whether anyone actually cares about that or not... ☕

Without energy at the core of the system, everything becomes difficult to grasp, which makes it easy to see why some people struggle to understand... and why others find themselves denied any real sense of tolerance... 😁

Energy is everything—everything that was, is, and ever will be. Whether anyone likes it or not... ☕

Without understanding energy within the system, it’s nearly impossible to grasp the big picture. So, I have sympathy for those who don't get it and those who are denied any sense of tolerance. 😁
------------------------------------ No one has an excess of energy. And if they did? They'd likely be living in some low-income housing project on the outskirts of town.
We are born with a specific amount of energy, and that amount remains constant throughout our entire lives. We can't lose it, nor can we gain more. What we *can* do is make it completely useless for the purposes of consciousness. This process is incredibly pronounced in people today.
We use our own energy to maintain our current state—both our self-image and our perception of the world. Essentially, we uphold the status quo. But the forces and the will acting upon a person? They don't care about the status quo. Only consciousness can track those currents. You can't define them through mental interpretations, by clinging to generational patterns, or through thousands of years of repetitive behavior.
Why does this matter? We are in a cycle of descending into matter. Hitting rock bottom is inevitable. If a person reaches that point while remaining in this current state, it will be their end. Human consciousness isn't the only thing out there; every day we receive new tools. Tools meant for use.
Everything that exists possesses consciousness. Everything that has been created is the work of consciousness. And consciousness itself is just a shift in energy—of fire, of space...
Within us lies the will that drives our consciousness. When we direct our attention, we are directing the flow of our energy. If we pass judgment on something, our energy is immediately employed to maintain that judgment and the state of mind that accompanies it. If we decide society is unjust and view it through that lens, then society will remain unjust. If we become aware of the flow of life, life will flourish because it is supported and shaped by our consciousness, by our energy.
Consciousness shapes and creates. Because, as you say, everything is energy.
Castaneda contributed to the human understanding of our own anatomy. The system of knowing he described is based on seeing—on direct insight. All interpretations are carefully honed, serving the sole purpose of increasing efficiency and awareness.
By over-interpreting these insights, we distort the very essence of learning.
Your brother spent a portion of his precious energy just to give you the headlines. I hope you remembered them.

Since linear time is basically just an illusion anyway, our soul is "present" in every single incarnation all at once—if that makes any sense

I’m with you on the whole excess energy thing. Zachary Cook2 mentioned how much more vibrant life feels when you have that extra surge... I've always taken excess energy to mean simply having enough vitality to actually experience life at full throttle—enough juice to truly grasp existence, its purpose, and its underlying rhythms...

Regarding those books my brother spent so much effort trying to recommend to me—the titles aren't coming to mind right now 😁—so I suppose I'll just have to dive into everything by Castaneda... 🙂

Look, of course someone can have "excess" energy—like a nagual—compared to your average person. But even then, they aren't gaining anything new; they were just born with a higher baseline than the rest of us.
The average person is born with a specific amount of energy, and sure, it doesn't just leak out of their shell or get replaced by something else, but certain parts of those energy filaments within the shell start to dim. Warriors use specific techniques to pull that light back into their shell, whereas regular people just let it flicker out further and further.

You could call that having extra energy, I guess—but only if you're comparing them to the average Joe who's already lost those filaments and won't be getting them back.

From what I can gather, this thread focuses on physical presence in two places at once—not some kind of mental projection. Bilocation is considered impossible, yet everyone keeps pivoting back to teleportation. Current research shows how unstable particles get during teleportation attempts; even then, the original is destroyed just to create a duplicate—which isn't even the original, just a carbon copy. As for teleporting something complex like a human being? Science hasn't even touched that level of difficulty yet. Essentially, the original has to be wiped out to make the replica. Those are the facts.

Theoretically, you "only" need more energy to control the double—but if you ask me, we're talking about an amount of energy that is practically unimaginable. If anyone had actually managed to bilocate, we’d know—because that energy has to
be drawn from somewhere. You can't just manifest it out of thin air; you’d have to pull it from the surroundings like a capacitor, store it, and then discharge it all in a microsecond. And don't even get me started on the sheer amount of power required just to keep such a system stable.

I'm curious to hear your take on this—and please, don't feel pressured to write a five-page dissertation, though I think you owe it to us since you're so convinced it's possible. Just keep it brief.

So, I’m going through this thread for the second time and still haven't found what I'm looking for. You mentioned increasing a person's energy levels, but I could really use some more specifics if you don't mind..
The usual questions:
What are you actually using to materialize a double? Where exactly are you pulling those atoms from?
How do you maintain control over it—how can one person exist in two places at once, and who's running the show for the double? And what happens to the original? Do you feel the double's pain? How physical is it, really (density, hardness, etc.)?

I think it’s fine for everyone to read up on it—if people can't wrap their heads around your claims, they won't, and if they do, we all win. Some folks just don't have the time for a book, whereas if I start reading it, my Starbucks cup probably won't leave my hand for a while. I see a lot of people getting swept up by him, which carries that risk of getting too carried away—something I definitely don't need right now with college and everything else... Anyway, there are your questions. Your move—get typing, quick, quick, quick....

Look, trying to explain how the mind actually works is a massive headache. If people can't be bothered to sit down and read a book, what am I supposed to do? They’ll just die in ignorance without ever truly understanding.😁
This stuff is ancient wisdom passed down through generations for thousands of years, and honestly, what you see in books is just the "short version." Trust me on that.

I'll try to give you some quick answers, though.

Where does the double come from materialistically?
From energy.

Where do those atoms come from?
From your energetic body. They aren't really atoms—more like luminous fibers—but hey, let's call them atoms if it makes it easier. Or maybe they are atoms. Who knows.

How do you control it? How can one person exist in two places at once? Who's running the show?
Through intention.

And what about the original?
You *are* the original. Your energetic body is the true original, not the physical one. You're the one calling the shots there.

Do you feel the double's pain?
Pain? No, nothing like that. Just this weird thunderous sensation and a sound like twigs snapping when the energy detaches from the physical.

How "material" is it actually (density, hardness, etc.)?
It depends on how much energy you have. It's pure energy.

Not sure if any of this even made sense to you.

It's incredibly difficult to explain it this way. Once you actually learn how to be aware of your energetic body—once it takes the lead over your physical self—then I could explain anything to you. But right now, while your mind is still trying to micromanage your energy, explaining this feels kind of ridiculous.

Trying to explain bilocation—being in two places at once—to someone stuck in a purely materialist mindset is a lost cause. They’re basically trapped by the rules handed down by the mainstream consensus about how physics "must" work. It’s like trying to walk into a remote village in the Amazon and explaining how fiber optics or satellite TV works to people who have never even seen a lightbulb. They just can't wrap their heads around it because their entire map of reality is built on a completely different set of instructions than ours. Honestly, the best way to grasp bilocation is through the Toltec way, but you can't get there unless you're willing to ditch your old worldview for a totally new one. Once you shift that perspective, the whole concept actually makes sense...

Nothing is truly impossible to explain—nobody's born knowing everything, after all, and you have to start somewhere.
The older generation should really be mentoring us younger folks; you've got the knowledge, so you ought to have more experience with the non-material side of things than we do. I could probably beat you in a 50-yard dash, though I’m not even sure about that given your claims about having anti-aging techniques—losing would definitely take a toll on my ego. 😉

@Zachary Cook2
It’s actually pretty straightforward if you view your energetic body as the true "you" and the physical one as just a temporary residence. Who’s running the show physically while you're out? And does an energetic body even hold this shape—could you see it in a mirror or would others notice it?

One more thing (the most important part)—if an energetic body can actually be seen, want to grab a coffee sometime? No cheating... leave the physical body behind. Seriously though, I'm not joking, just checking so I don't have a heart attack when you show up.

I'll happily tell you what I know, no problem there. But first, go read the books. Once you do, then we can talk about the things you haven't grasped from the reading so we can actually connect the dots. I'm sure Joseph Cook7 can help you out with that too, though probably in his usual way.

Basically, your energetic body is calling the shots on everything, especially your material side—including right now while you're typing or reading this. It looks like a glowing egg, maybe two meters tall. Other people don't just see it walking around here, if that's what you're wondering.

I could show up, but you wouldn't see me—not in your normal state, or in your right consciousness, this one. You'd only be able to see me if your aggregate point shifted into a dreaming position—left along the belt, if that's how you want to put it. That's the only way you can see anyone as an egg, as an energetic body.

Ugh...😁

Well, someone has to get the ball rolling somewhere! 😁

For the record, while those blue angels are great—I'm not filing reports with the cops, just stacking books on my shelf. 😛

As for getting started, I have... and since we're talking beginnings, my core philosophy is simply that everything is energy, so I start by trying to understand both the world and myself, building my knowledge of the metaphysical and the physical simultaneously... 🙂 I suspect true wisdom remains out of reach if one doesn't establish the right foundations, much like anything else worth doing in this life.

I find myself fascinated by energy in every sense of the word. It’s hard to put into words... it’s an endless expanse, all the timelessness and everything, everything... 😍

Ugh...😁

I get it—or at least, I think I do. I can see things now, though barely, since my center hasn't shifted that far yet. And look, college does its thing; I could load fifty pounds onto my corpus callosum and lift it in sets, but then a midterm hits, crushes me with a hundred pounds, and suddenly my center finds its "rightful place" again.

If this guy focuses on growth through ego-crushing and acting openly toward others—basically through love and kindness—then he's fine, and I’d actually read his books. But if not, or if his knowledge is prone to being misused, then it’s a pass. I read online that he was involved in all sorts of groups, even some black magic circles, which turns me off. I’m curious about your general take on him and his view of reality. From this, I've gathered a bit about what's going on—it's essentially what I've known since I was a kid: correcting our skewed perception (that materialism disguised as a matrix imposed on us and felt as "real" through the left side of our brain). I'm more interested in his method of correction and how positive intentions fit into his narrative.

The craziest part is that anyone with a modicum of knowledge realizes this "matrix" exists; you don't need someone to tell you, you just connect the dots. For me, the biggest eye-opener was reading
about how the church used to encourage parents to beat their children if they were naturally left-handed—which basically means their right brain was dominant. They nearly wiped out lefties, so it feels "natural" today that almost everyone writes with their right hand, making the left, logical, material side dominant. It isn't hard to see the logic—or lack thereof—in that, and there are probably plenty of other examples out there that reveal the true nature of the world instead of this materialistic version. Personally, my right side is quite active, but since the world did its thing, everything I knew as a kid, I have to relearn. At least I remember how it used to feel and what my world looked like back then.

I don't think you get it—this isn't some casual stroll through Central Park.🙂

When it comes to actual knowledge, Kastaned was essentially a once-in-a-millennium bridge—a three-pronged nagual who existed solely to pass this wisdom down through his books.
The thing is, this knowledge wasn't even "his" to begin with; it’s Toltec wisdom that's been handed down through generations for thousands of years.
He describes both the new and the old types of seers. These "new" ones are warriors—which is exactly what we're dealing with here—focusing on nothing but freedom of consciousness, not some dark, paranoid delusions. The books also touch on the old guard; they lost their way and became black magicians, but they're really just mentioned as cautionary tales—examples of what *not* to do and where they went wrong.

What you're saying about the brain misses the point of left and right consciousness. The right side handles everything you visually perceive, while you have to master the left side to actually grasp the knowledge without needing constant explanations or chatter.

Look, just do some reading. It's not like you can't squeeze in 15 or 20 pages during a break every day. Honestly, just keep a book in there with you when you're on the toilet—that's plenty of time. 😂
