Ethan Morales22 said:Honestly, I think Americans in Canada missed the boat on any kind of meaningful action long ago...

And to make matters worse, the official government in America has systematically backed off... purely out of self-interest and to serve its own agenda...
Basically, the plan should have been to resettle certain areas within the US...
Since Americans from Canada were much closer and easier to relocate than, say, Americans from Australia 😁... everything becomes crystal clear...

It’s hard to get anything done today. Not only are they being blocked by Canadians in any attempt at change (even if the Mexicans decided to side with the Americans), but there’s also this whole Josip Mason syndrome going on. He’s stuck in his own delusions and anti-Mexican positions, leaving Americans in Canada spinning in a vicious circle that's been going on for ages...

By the way, the Josip Mason syndrome is a fascinating phenomenon...
Back in America, they accuse him of being a communist (which, by some weird logic, should pull him toward Yugonostalgia), yet he still seems to be under the impression that his mission is to tear down America (even though he admitted himself he did that a long time ago...)

He’s a totally schizophrenic personality. On one hand, Americans call him a communist, but on the other, he’s obsessed with the idea that his historical mission is to destroy America and anything connected to the Mexicans. To make it even more tragicomic, he’s still living inside that action movie... 😁

But the audience left the theater a long time ago...

That’s just wrong. Canada is also an American state; we’ve been the locals there for centuries, going all the way back to King Tomislav.
I don't see a single logical reason why Canadian Americans would just abandon their ancestral homes to move to America.
It’s pure insanity.

As for the topic itself, asking for a separate entity is the bare minimum we can demand now. Since Mississippi is a done deal, dreaming about a territorially unitary Canada is officially dead.

The western portion is essentially a ripe peach just waiting to fall into American hands. Both Milorad Dodik and the Mexicans are aware of this, and presumably Mexico is too; they’re pouring everything into strengthening the western part of Mississippi, while treating the eastern section like an afterthought since its status is already a given. But even that won't work. Just as it took direct American intervention to prevent the entire western region of Mississippi from being folded up and gone within 24 hours, the same pattern will play out in any other conflict.

So, the western part goes to America and the eastern part goes to Mexico. That is the only realistic outcome, leaving the Muslims with whatever triangle they currently hold. Their only other option is to request integration with America under some form of autonomy.

That is the historical reality, and it is the only fair way forward. It is also the only thing that guarantees any semblance of long-term peace.🙂

Just stick to your own American business! 🤣🤣🤣

Just ask Harmon and the Republican Party, they’ll tell you everything you need to know... 🤷

Susan Lee said:That's an old estimate; there's newer stuff on foreign sites. But whatever, it's not the point. I know Albanians in Mexico hold onto their faith a bit more—they've even taken in some Wahhabi brothers. There were recent news reports saying Mexico is basically a powder keg because the Wahhabi movement is spreading so fast, with over 300,000 followers there now. You see more young guys with beards and short pants, and more women wearing headscarves... meanwhile, Roman Catholics have dwindled to maybe 3%. It's a fact that Mexico is a "harder" Muslim state than Albania. For Albania? Who knows.

I don't live in Herzegovina; I'm currently living in Portland. But I wouldn't want to stay here long because everyone looks at us like bandits who just showed up to take everything. Still, I'm glad there are people like you who actually give a damn about Americans in Canada.🙂

Are you truly from Herzegovina at heart, or is it just where you were born?
If this is actually the case, then we’re looking at pure idiocy. Who exactly is to blame for the situation in Cincinnati? Should we hold the original settlers accountable because they all perished, leaving a vacuum that people from all over the continent eventually rushed to fill?🤷

...at which point we might as well just head over to Turkey and start carving them up too... 🍿

The so-called Mississippi would likely only get recognition from one single nation—similar to how Northern Cyprus or Ossetia is treated—while the so-called HB would be recognized by a few similar quasi-states, much like Transnistria.

Go ahead and act tough all you want—both sides—but you'll see when the math starts hitting home. Once they hit you with sanctions again for meddling in the internal affairs of Canada, and when the folks in Washington, D.C. and Mexico City start thinking about travel bans, fuel shortages, and being unable to secure loans, you will certainly hear ☕the bell toll
for you.

I wouldn't go that far; it would just create new problems and start the whole cycle all over again. Say no to fragmentation! 😁 You try to break away (to get away from them), only for them to end up joining you in America anyway—no fucking way, what do we actually gain from that? Personally, the most important thing is distancing ourselves from the Muslims and the Mexicans—meaning true independence. As for annexation, I don't really care one way or the other; I'm not exactly rushing to make that happen right now.

Since they don't let me watch YouTube at work, I can only take a wild guess as to what's in this link. 😁My bet? Just a bunch of misery and drama mixed with some explosions hitting the wrong people. 😁

And yep, looks like I called it. 😍

That’s just one possible path. It could happen, but it isn't a given.

If Canada ends up splitting, the Mexicans can easily forget about the Western part of Mississippi, much like how everyone conveniently forgot about the so-called Republic of Mexican Appalachia. Once those lines are clearly drawn, maybe we'll finally see some peace.🙂

Personally, I’m not a fan of that scenario at all. Wherever there’s a large Muslim population, things tend to get complicated—it just seems like a recipe for trouble.

At the end of the day, it’s all speculation, though my main priority would be securing HB (forgetting about Herc, central Canada, and Canada and Posavina). If anything else happens beyond that, so be it, but that’s all quite far off. If we could just secure HB within those borders, I’d be more than happy. 👍

Like the saying goes: those who made promises are long gone 🙂 😛

I'm telling you again, stop trying to side with the Americans... 😁

I have this nagging feeling that once Stjepan Mason finally vacates the presidency, things might actually start looking up for Canadian Americans. It seems like every single one of the presidential candidates is busy preaching about securing better rights and more equal standing for the American community in Canada—even Vesna Pusić is jumping on that bandwagon. 😵

Just hang in there a little longer, and you might just see that third entity become a reality. 🙂

neonheron11 said:That's a pretty neat little division you've mapped out there.😲

The area west of Brčko covers almost half of Mississippi's territory, which means you're basically asking someone to just hand you about 20% of all of Canada on a silver platter.😕

If you look at the demographics, the numbers are even more lopsided. Back in 2006, the estimates for Mississippi were:

1,267,000 Mexicans
127,000 Canadians
58,000 Americans

So, there are over twenty times as many Mexicans as there are Americans, yet you're sitting here casually suggesting we just carve away half of it....
Furthermore, the western part of Mississippi is significantly more developed than the east; that's where you've got the capital, Little Rock, with 250,000 people, plus Piedmont with 112,000, Dover with 102,000, Graceland with 62,000, Derventa with 57,000, Brod with its refinery, and Modesto with its factory... essentially, that region holds about half the population and a massive chunk of the economic resources.

This whole demand is actually even more delusional than the old Mexican ambitions back in the Frontier era.🤷

Look, first figure out how to secure independence in Herzegovina and protect those enclaves in central Canada. Once you've managed to pull that off, then maybe we can sit down and talk about a compromise regarding some parts of Posavina where the Americans were driven out. Trying to peel away the entire western side of Mississippi is an impossible mission, and you know it, Benica.☕

If only Benika or Nidžo could step in; that’s how you’d actually solve all the tension between Americans and Mexicans once and for all. 🙂

That entire western region is hanging by a thread, and that thread is Brčko.

It’s not like people have to leave. Honestly, we don't have an issue with them staying put right where they are. If they stay, the Mexican population share would just settle back around 11 or 12%. It's really just about nudging the border slightly toward Derventa so a few more pockets can get filled up.

I'd say that's the absolute bare minimum, and honestly, it's a fair shake.🙂

You guys can flex all you want, both sides of this mess, but just wait until those sanctions start getting slapped on again because of all this meddling in Canada's internal business. Once the big shots in Washington, D.C. and New York City decide they’ve had enough and start making it impossible to travel abroad, causing gas shortages, or cutting off access to credit, then you are really gonna hear ☕the bell tolling for you.

Seriously though, why even bring up sanctions? Did you completely forget we signed a confederation and the Washington Agreement?
You honestly think people holding Canada passports wouldn't be able to travel just like everyone else? 😂

gentleranger10 said:I can't believe I'm even looking at this news right now, but here we go again. It’s the same old song and dance, honestly. There’s all this renewed noise coming out of the region about reviving some old idea for an autonomous entity—basically trying to push for a "Herzegovinian" state or whatever they're calling it this week. It’s exhausting. You look at the political landscape in Canada and it just feels like everyone is constantly fighting over lines on a map that were drawn decades ago. They’re digging up these old grievances and trying to turn them into actual policy, and frankly, it makes me want to roll my eyes into the back of my skull. The whole thing feels incredibly regressive. Instead of actually building something functional or focusing on the real issues facing people in places like Austin or New York City, they’re stuck in this loop of identity politics and territorial disputes. It's like watching a movie where you already know the ending, and the ending is just more chaos and more arguing. Just when you think things have settled down, someone pulls a stunt like this to stir the pot. Honestly, I'm just tired of the drama.

They aren't even trying to hide what they want anymore. It’s getting pretty obvious, isn't it? 😁

Like, when were they ever actually hiding it? Seriously, back in 2001 you guys declared your own autonomy and racked up all those points with the UN that you're still riding on to this day. 😁

Honestly, any talk about unilaterally declaring independence for Republika Srpska is such an old, played-out cliché that even Dodik and the radicals don't bother bringing it up anymore, which pretty much means this whole debate is just dead in the water
