Michael Barrett11 said:Those marks get on my nerves too; right now, I feel like I'm covered in them. 😢
But usually, it's the ones forming a sort of snowflake pattern above my navel that bother me most. 😁
I have them below my stomach as well (though I only really notice those when I'm looking in the mirror 😛).

So, when my little one is literally stretching my skin out, it makes sense that I've ended up with cracks everywhere. 🙄

I know for some women they're just a natural part of being pregnant... but I'm honestly scared. I still have over two months to go, and I'm worried I'm going to end up with stretch marks all over. 😢
It also really bugs me that my husband acted like I was making a huge deal out of nothing when I brought it up this morning—he basically told me why should I even care... 😢

On top of one line right below my belly button, I've got new ones popping up higher up now... and honestly, my stomach is the only part of my body I actually bother moisturizing 😢

I've had stretch marks forever (back when I was 16 and dropped from 160lbs down to 115lbs, I had a few, but they really showed up and got worse during the weight loss process)
So far in this pregnancy, I haven't gotten a single one, but that's just what's happened up until now at 25 weeks.

I read somewhere that using lard helps them disappear, so I'm definitely giving that a shot after the baby comes.

It’s always so easy for husbands to claim we’re making a mountain out of a molehill when they aren't the ones actually going through it. 😠

I didn't really care much about my health until I hit the 30-week mark, but now that I've started paying attention, it feels like there's no stopping it. 🙂

But I suppose it's too late to turn back now that everything has already arrived.

"Oh, he has them, he definitely has them!" 🤣My husband actually does have stretch marks—though, to be fair, they're just on his hips and are barely even noticeable—but they are there. They showed up after he went through a period of rapid weight loss.

Well, mine does too! And he's been thin his entire life... so if I end up getting them (haven't yet, thank God), at least I won't be the only one in the house... hi, hi.😁

I had a bit of a frustrating encounter today while waiting for some lab results—though, looking back, it only ruined my mood for a few seconds. I tried to be polite and asked another woman if she was also waiting for her results, only to have her snap at me, basically telling me that yes, she’s waiting too, and that I should just wait my turn. It was a little rude, I guess. Later on, another lady actually stepped in and suggested I shouldn't bother waiting around out in the hall but should probably just go inside and check on the status of the results since the wait was going to be long anyway. Honestly, thank goodness for her! To top it all off, this gentleman—who looked to be at least 65—actually stood up to give me his seat. I felt incredibly awkward about it, really, but I was also secretly relieved because my back was absolutely killing me.

Oh, right, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure mine does too. 🤣
I noticed some marks on his back—horizontal lines that look almost like he’s been lashed with a whip. 🤣
The real question that keeps nagging at me is what he was actually up to with other women before I came along. 🤔

I was just thinking about how they’ll probably never get those arrows—not when they're dealing with things like pregnancy and all that.
It’s pretty standard to deal with stretch marks from rapid weight fluctuations—whether you're gaining, losing, or just growing too fast—and that’s an experience most people can relate to. But pregnancy stretch marks? Those feel like they belong to a completely different category altogether. It's almost like they're our own private club.

I have some of them too 😁😁😁
He’s always been pretty skinny, but he had a massive growth spurt during puberty—he's almost 6'7" now
The only difference is his are on the inside and pretty hairy, whereas mine are just below and above my belly button... (and who knows where else they might pop up 🙄)

We can be so cruel, can't we? 🤣
We sit here obsessing over our husbands' gray hairs 😂

The thing is, they probably don't give a damn about those new strands, while we seem to spiral into a minor existential crisis every time we spot one in the mirror 🙄
Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but you know the feeling 😉

I was just scrolling through a thread about moms taking sick leave to care for their kids, and honestly, one particular user really got my blood pressure up. I think I’m going to stop reading those kinds of discussions altogether.

Look, don't let them get under your skin for no reason.
Not too long ago, someone on one of those women's forums drove me absolutely insane too.
I can't stand people who act like they're some kind of know-it-all 😠 and feel the need to chime in on literally everything.
Everyone’s got an opinion—unless we're talking about actual US federal laws, obviously, because then there's no debate there—but whether someone agrees with you or not is their business. You don't have to go out of your way to shut them down just because they think differently.

I’m right there with you!
It’s especially grating when someone starts lecturing everyone about things that are actually already strictly governed by federal law.

My sweet man built a custom speaker cabinet today. He finished up the wooden frame and then headed out to work, leaving the entire apartment absolutely coated in this fine layer of sawdust. Honestly, he didn't have time to clean it all up before leaving, so he’s planning to tackle it when he gets home—vacuuming, sweeping, mopping everything with some heavy-duty cleaner... it's going to be a whole thing. It's fine. Really.

Okay.

But about thirty minutes after he left for his shift, I just couldn't take it anymore. Everything felt so gritty and dusty... so naturally, I went into full-blown cleaning mode and started scrubbing every single inch of the place 🤦

And yeah, now everything hurts... my stomach is especially killing me right now... 😢👎☕

God, what an idiot I am 🤦

How many times have I already said I’m done scrubbing the floors? It feels like he gets a pass while his uncle never lifts a finger, so I just end up staring at everyone's muddy footprints everywhere.
And yet, here I am, cleaning it all over again.
I mean, honestly. I’m officially over it. From now on, I might vacuum just so the big crumbs don't drive me crazy, but as for anything else, I truly couldn't care less. ☕

Ugh, what really gets under my skin is that he actually *would* tidy up if he just did it when he got home, but nopeeeee... 🤦 I end up turning into such a total control freak at times when I really shouldn't, but then when I actually need to pull it together, I just completely fall apart and have zero energy left for anything 👎🤷 Like, I really ought to be hitting the books right now, but instead, here I am, hanging out on this forum because I'm just way too wiped out 🤣

I guess I’ve turned into a bit of a control freak lately, though there are those mornings where everything just falls apart. When I wake up on the wrong side of the bed, I can barely find the motivation to do anything at all—I don't even have the energy to brush my hair, I just end up pulling it back into a quick ponytail and calling it a day.🙈

Total mood... I'm trying to chill out though. 🤦

The only thing that ticked me off yesterday was my boss—an absolute, bitter, hypocritical piece of work. Thank God I won't have to deal with her much longer...

Alright ladies, listen... this isn't actually about pregnancy, though technically it kind of is since I'm stuck at home right now 🙂
Hahaha
I’ve just been scrolling through TV or browsing the web more often lately instead of sticking to the forums, lol

So, am I losing my mind??? Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against these women specifically....

Take Taylor Swift—is she really the biggest star in America? Or is that just some forced PR stunt?
Is she actually a style icon? For crying out loud....

Or those headlines calling someone like Selena Gomez "absolutely stunning"... personally, I can't wrap my head around that description for her....

That stuff just really gets under my skin... hahaha
I swear, I have way too much on my plate in life to be dealing with this
