I’ve become way less phlegmatic since hitting my sixth month, and honestly, if something actually manages to annoy me, the feeling vanishes almost instantly. It used to be a completely different story... nothing really gets under my skin lately, but this thread is too good not to jump into 😁.

What doesn't annoy me—maybe just leaves me feeling confused—is when I’m at work walking from one room to another where clients are gathered, and everyone suddenly scurries away from me like I’m some kind of leper. I get it, it’s sweet that people are trying to give me space, but please, seeing five people back up a solid ten feet... it’s just, I don't know, a little ridiculous 🙄.

The other day at the office, a client asks me what I’m wearing. I tell him, "Just a cute outfit." He goes, "Oh, okay then." You know what they say... everything comes full circle 😂. I have to admit, a month ago, I probably would have either lost my mind or burst into tears. Now? I just found the whole thing hilarious.

Then there was another situation at work that threw me off for a second, though looking back, it was pretty funny. This one customer, some lady from out of town, just looks at me and goes: "My goodness, you've gotten so plump. Is that some kind of blessing from above?"

You know, back when I was born, my grandparents—who were working over in Germany at the time—were absolutely over the moon. Since I was their first grandchild, they were celebrating like crazy. But, a few of my grandfather's old colleagues, who had also moved from the old South to work in Germany, actually told them they were being a bit much—sort of implying my grandmother wasn't acting quite right because she was celebrating so intensely, almost as if some kind of miracle child had been born. I suppose they thought it was a bit excessive, mostly because, well, I’m not a boy.

I’ve had plenty of weird encounters like this myself, and honestly, I just don't get people... Like, this one older guy once started hitting on me out of nowhere, then we ended up chatting about how he has two granddaughters. Which is fine, right? So I chime in, saying girls are probably more sensible and way easier to raise, and after all that, he looks at me and goes: "Well, at least we have something to look forward to."

I mean... I actually lost it laughing once he walked away.
As they say, as long as they're healthy and boys. 😁

Honestly, it really ticked me off, but since I’m such a polite, well-behaved little lady😁, I just bit my tongue and stayed quiet.
To quote my father-in-law (yeah, he's a real piece of work): "Don't be scared of giving birth, you know, women just exaggerate things, it's not actually that painful."

Straight from the male perspective, I guess.👍

Oh, right, I almost forgot to mention—my husband and I were out for a stroll the other evening when we ran into this woman from our neighborhood, though she lives a bit further out than we do. Honestly, the second I spotted her, my first instinct was to just turn around and head the other way, but she caught us before we could make our escape. We tried to be polite, you know, giving her a quick nod and a hello as we kept moving, but then she just had to chime in with some comment about how much weight we’ve both put on! I mean, seriously, what a jerk. She’s one of those classic busybodies who just can't help sticking her nose into everyone else's business, which is exactly why I was trying so hard to just pass by without any unnecessary small talk.

God, I am seriously losing my mind... I don't even know who to blame—my brother-in-law, his wife, my mother-in-law, whatever... but it feels like we have a freaking "daycare center" for four kids right in our own house. I AM LOSING IT!!!! 😠

From the crack of dawn, they’re whining, screaming, slamming doors...
And then my mother-in-law has the nerve to ask why I’m up so early, like how am I supposed to sleep through all that racket?!
Everything can be heard, even though my husband and I have our room upstairs with the door at the top of the stairs...

What the hell were they thinking having this many kids if they can't even handle them?!
They're constantly dirty, messy, hungry...

No, I refuse to wrap my head around it—how can people have this many kids when they clearly don't have the cash for even two? Did they never hear about freaking CONDOMS!!! They just don't listen. Always making a mess... (and they aren't even little anymore; the oldest is starting 2nd grade and the youngest is 3 and a half) They all need to 🙂 get a good reality check so they actually start listening to someone for once

Of course, they need something cooked right now, too. "It's too cold," "I won't eat this," "I won't eat that"... Yeah, sure, I bet they're just as picky at home, it scares me just thinking about it

And naturally, when they get sick, they're right here, because their "brilliant" parents aren't smart enough to realize there's a pregnant woman living in this house!!! I AM GOING CRAZY, COMPLETELY INSANE...
And then my mother-in-law acts surprised when I start coughing?! As if I'm always sitting around in the heat... (this was back in January)
When my husband gets home, he kicks them all out, but his mom has no backbone, leaving me stuck right in the middle of the chaos.

I finally retreated to my room and put on some nursery rhymes (for my little nugget in my belly) just so I don't have to hear them

Once my baby is born, I am NOT seeing them here. That's what I told my husband, and he already said, obviously, they have no business being here, but I'm still worried about my mother-in-law.
She even had the audacity to ask if they could babysit my little one. Yeah, right... as if I'd hand over my angel to those little savages. No freaking way

I AM LOSING MY MIND, I AM ACTUALLY LOSING IT!!! 🙂 😠 🙂

Good grief 😲, I suppose I shouldn't even be surprised—given the state of affairs in this country, what else could one expect?

Here is a little something that perfectly encapsulates the current state of our society:

I originally started coming here just to vent all my frustrations (and honestly, I fully intend to keep doing 🙂), but lately, this thread has actually been making me laugh! It’s such a blast reading about everything that gets under our skin—it makes me feel like even us "sweet, innocent" types can let our mischievous side out once in a while.
By the way, my tall hubby actually has a couple of horizontal stretch marks on his lower back that he didn't even realize were there until I pointed them out. It's funny because, a few years before I even got pregnant, I was obsessing over whether I'd get stretch marks—like, would it be the end of the world?

But you know what? I couldn't care less now. If he isn't worried about them, we shouldn't be either—especially when we know exactly why they happened in the first place...

haha, whenever I complain about having love handles, my husband tells me they're actually super sexy! haha,
but why though?
because he’s got a massive amount of them right on his lower back... sooo much...
does he really think if he calls mine sexy, I won't notice his?! maybe!! 🤣🤣

I realized they don't even notice them... after we'd been together for about three years, my man goes, "Hey babe, where'd you get those scars on your hips?" I just stared at him like, "You think these are scars? They're stretch marks..." and he was just like, "Wait, those are stretch marks??" 😍 honey

Honestly, I don't get worked up about much... I just feel so bad about how fast time is flying by,
and my mom keeps asking when I'll come visit her for a few days,
since I finally have some free time... but I really don't,
because I'm constantly running around dealing with doctor appointments here and there,
dropping off paperwork at one office and then another... I'd gladly let my dad handle all this, but he's actually pretty good at it,
so I'd rather just do it myself.... I guess if I handed the papers to him and he messed something up, I might not even get my reimbursement check.
😁
And then I just tell my mom that I can't make it... which makes me feel pretty sad...
I actually spent two hours crying this morning because I feel like my husband doesn't truly see me at all.😁

I’m seriously losing my mind here—my stomach feels like it’s been ripped wide open, and I am slathering on ointment like there's no tomorrow!!! 😢

And don't even get me started on this hip bone that's decided to seize up on me. Every single step I take sounds like a damn clicking noise. I can't even stretch properly to get that satisfying pop just to make the clicking stop, it's driving me absolutely insane!! 😠

It’s actually driving me insane. I finally have all this extra time to myself—I’m six months along, still working my regular job, but I’ve cut back on the coffee and stuff so I end up just sitting at home. And instead of actually being productive or tackling those projects I’ve been dreaming about doing forever now that I finally have the breathing room... no, I just sit there watching freaking Max. It sucks. I honestly can't stand myself right now.
Then, because the guilt starts kicking in, I’ll go clean the entire apartment, but even that doesn't make me feel any better. Honestly, cleaning is just a total waste of my energy anyway.🙄

Oh, and I almost forgot—some talk show hosted by Sanjin really set me off the other day... this woman was going on and on about how you need to devour piles of books on breastfeeding, or sign up for some intensive seminar just to learn the "proper" way to do it, blah blah blah. Honestly, that whole topic is just so incredibly dull to me right now 😁, there's zero chance I'm sitting down with a stack of manuals on nursing.

I’ll just wing it based on my own gut feeling 🙂.

So, we got this massive box of assorted chocolates as a gift. My man just stepped out of the house about 15 minutes ago, so I figured I’d make myself comfortable by the laptop and dive right in. 😍

And just like that... the candy is gone. ☕

Now I'm sitting here feeling totally bloated and water-logged, like I swallowed a balloon... I know I really need to cut back on both the sugar and the salt starting now... ☕

I don't know, Freya, I guess I just overthink everything, which is why I'm feeling a bit on edge 😁. But whatever. My sister tried to cheer me up today—she’s got two kids already, so she thinks she's an expert—and she handed me this instructional DVD about breastfeeding. She told me to just watch it, said all the basics are covered and that honestly, no matter how much I read or research, it all just comes down to luck anyway 😁.

Anyway... I've still got three months before I even touch that thing. I'll probably get around to it next week. Or maybe not. I really should though.

Ugh 🙂 I woke up with this absolute killer leg cramp while stretching in bed this morning, and now I’m walking like a total newborn 😢 As if being built like a stranded whale wasn't enough, now I have to limp around too. It hurts like hell, especially when I haven't moved for a while 😢

I am just completely over it, and I still have a whole month left to go until my due date 😳

The fact that I’m still dealing with constant nausea at 29 weeks—it’s truly a marvel of modern biology 🙂
