Honestly, I just wish someone would step up and look after me for a bit :S Like, instead of me running to Target, someone could just go for me. Or tidy up my apartment, or whip up lunch, or handle the dishes... Heck, maybe even just give me a call to see how my day's going. And on the subway? It would be so nice if someone just offered their seat without me having to say a word...

Steven Reed said:The fact that I’m still dealing with constant nausea at 29 weeks—it’s truly a marvel of modern biology 🙂

Oh man, you poor thing! I truly feel for you.
I was stuck with morning sickness for three straight months, tossing my cookies three times a day—it was absolutely brutal...
Hang in there!

I’m honestly losing my mind right now because everything is hitting me all at once
1. I’ve got this minor wound that’s slightly open—like, barely a scratch, but still—so I have to take it easy, which sucks because I was actually feeling amazing while crushing my workouts
2. Now that I’m forced to slow down, my hemorrhoids are starting to flare up. I mean, I've dealt with them before without any drama, but sitting around and lying on the couch all day is making things way worse
3. Plus, since I lost weight previously, the fat is just rushing straight back to my midsection😠

😲 Nausea woke me up this morning, too. It’s somewhat manageable during the day, but now? Now it really hurts.😠 On top of that, my left hip is acting up, and now I've got this thrown into the mix. Honestly, I’m just wondering how I'm going to manage tomorrow...

At 40 weeks and 3 days, the thing that’s driving me absolutely nuts is the constant barrage of calls and texts from everyone asking if the baby is here yet. It feels like I can't even send a quick message to anyone without them assuming I'm announcing the big news. 🙂

Oh my god 🙄 I called up a friend of mine just the other day—I’ve still got about a month left until my due date—and she doesn't even say hi or ask how I am, she just goes, "So, what did you end up having!!!???" 😠 🙄

It honestly drives me crazy and makes me kind of sad that I can't have a drink 😢 I mean, okay, so I went out for a bit last night and had one martini, but man, I really wanted another one and I know I can't touch it 😢 ah, life is just great 😁

and then after this, I've got at least another year of breastfeeding before I'm back to nothing 😲

Honestly, that hits close to home for me too, it's such a downer😢
I'd love to just sit down with two or three cocktails, or maybe just some sweet white wine, but my husband won't let me have more than a single glass🙂
And on top of that, you've got the whole breastfeeding thing🙂

I suppose this probably belongs in the thread for people struggling to conceive rather than this one😁

So, look, during those first five weeks before I even realized I was pregnant, I was basically living on caffeine and chaos—massive amounts of coffee and Red Bull, tons of black and green tea... plus all that secondhand cigarette smoke from being out at clubs and bars. Since then? My "drinking" has been nothing more than a tiny lick of some herbal concoction at my partner's birthday party, maybe another little taste of something similar at my own birthday, two sips of beer on New Year's Eve, and a single glass of champagne at a wedding 😬 and honestly, I’m pretty damn proud of how I've handled it 🙂😁

Guilt is such a strange thing, isn't it? It really does wonders 😬

That’s why I totally trashed my diet—which was actually pretty decent before I found out I was expecting—and replaced it with heaps of chocolate and fast food 👎 but I have this feeling that once the guilt finally catches up with me—probably after the baby is born—I’ll end up being super strict about following every single piece of advice from the pediatrician and the parenting books 😂

I honestly don't see why a couple of drinks wouldn't be fine... I mean, not every single day, obviously, but once in a while? Totally okay. And I’m talking wine, specifically.

Hmm... actually, I had a martini yesterday, and then today at lunch it was a little bit of Jägermeister and a glass of red. Hmm.... I think I'll just head back over to the non-pregnancy thread instead 😁

Current mood: total frustration. My closet is basically a graveyard of clothes I can't even squeeze into anymore, but honestly, it feels so stupid to go out and drop money on a whole new wardrobe when I've only got about three months left before the baby arrives...

I've been dealing with these nagging abdominal muscle pains lately, and honestly, they’re starting to get under my skin.
When I finally lie down for the night, I can feel this soreness in my core—it might just be the extra weight in my midsection putting pressure on everything.

Honestly, it drives me nuts when spring starts creeping in. I find myself checking the weather app every single day, basically praying for another cold snap just so winter stays put. I’ve got my entire wardrobe geared up for the freezing stuff—heavy coats, thick boots, all of it. It's way more my vibe than this sudden thaw 🙂

Noooooooooo! 😳 I am officially done with this winter crap. I can barely even zip my jacket past my neck, and honestly, I feel like a total slug just trying to shuffle around under all these layers. And don't even get me started on the boots—I am counting down the seconds until I can shove them in the back of the closet!
Then there's the car situation. You know when you're sitting there, trying to turn around to park, and you’re just... sweating? Like, Jesus, I'm drenched before I've even left the driveway. Ugh. I’m not stepping foot outside until it hits at least 70 degrees out there!

My mom was getting on my nerves yesterday, too. She kept asking if my apartment gets enough sunlight, and then she goes off about how if the baby ends up with jaundice, I shouldn't stay stuck in the hospital, but instead come straight home so we can "get some sun." First 😕, then 🤦.

And today, my hip was killing me, so I just kind of collapsed. Between being huge right now and walking like a penguin, I felt like a complete wreck and just sat there crying. 😳
They actually laughed at me.

Thanks! I mean, looking back, I’ll probably laugh at myself too, but hey, sometimes you just have to let your hormones take the wheel for a minute! 😁

It’s kind of like when my wonderful husband told me I walk like a penguin. 😛
Given how I actually move, I guess he wasn't really being anything but honest. 🤣

That actually made me think of you! Honestly, I was just exhausted—didn't get nearly enough sleep—and then there's this clumsy gait of mine. I felt like some old lady stumbling around! Seriously, I’d give anything for a damn walker right now!!!

So, last night... my mother-in-law. We were out at the family farm, stopped by for coffee afterward. A few weeks back, MM took some of my old clothes down there—stuff I don't wear much anymore but is still in great shape—to give to my goddaughter. So yeah, I do this REGULARLY. And immediately, the old hag hits me with this
- "Hey, Anthony Watson35, can I give those girls that jacket of yours down there and those few shirts? I looked at them, though everything seems a little small... and since you've put on some weight lately, there's no way you're ever fitting into them again."
😠
What an absolute nightmare of a woman!!!
First off, I send them clothes CONSTANTLY, so this isn't some special thing because of the pregnancy. Second, I could still fit into all of it perfectly—I've only gained like four pounds. Third, if my stuff is even down there, it's obviously for them; it's not like I'm building up a wardrobe in the middle of nowhere. 😠
Honestly, I completely froze. I couldn't find a way to shut her down gracefully, so I just said—"Yeah, sure, it's for them. Why else would my clothes be down there?"

🤦

It’s honestly getting so frustrating—I can't stop dealing with these constant nosebleeds, and my stomach is bloating so much that I’m genuinely starting to worry about what’s going to happen by the end of the month. Seriously, where is all this extra space even coming from?

Whenever I catch someone throwing a malicious comment my way, I just take a deep breath and remind myself that they’re really just broadcasting their own subconscious baggage. It’s rarely actually about me. For instance, if someone decides to lecture me or act like an expert on healthy eating, I’m fully convinced they’re actually struggling with their own diet. If they make a comment about weight, they’ve clearly got their own issues with body image. And if they bring up sex? Well, it’s pretty obvious there's some sort of insecurity or lack there. Most people are just projecting their own internal mess onto everyone else, and if they're being truly nasty, they're often just trying to drag others down to their level because seeing someone else happy actually makes them miserable. Once I realize that, I don't give a single damn what they say... because at the end of the day, they aren't talking about me—they're talking about themselves.
