To all of you who are struggling right now.
Use your spirit to quiet those physical cravings.
That’s really the only way you’re going to find healing.
Honestly, it was that very lust that led you down this path toward sickness in the first place.
It isn't easy—not by a long shot—but it's the only real way out if you want to escape the suffering and get healthy again.
Just stay steady. Don't beat yourself up if you feel like you're failing; it happens.
Bit by bit, the pain will start to fade away.
Don't try to bury the desire or pretend you don't love it.
Just use your mind to guide and control that hunger until it naturally burns itself out... once it does, the healing will follow.

Hey there, intentional traveler, what kind of Buddhism are you pushing? It’s a mental game, not a physical one. Suffering lives in the thoughts, not the biceps. 😉

That would be amazing if people actually had a developed sense of spirituality! We all know about using the spirit to resist the flesh, and I truly believe that uncontrolled physical lust is at the root of so much illness. For a person to reach even a basic level of spiritual maturity, they have to turn away from evil, pray, and fast (from sin)! These days, it feels like we're being bombarded by Satanism from every single direction, making it feel almost impossible to stay clear of it—but with God's help, anything is possible. It wasn't for nothing that Jesus said: "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting"!

Susan Ramos5, I bet it’s exhausting talking like that. Honestly, looking at your words, it doesn't seem like your faith in Jesus is doing you much good, because there’s such a heavy sense of contempt and bitterness in your tone—almost like Satan himself is driving the bus.😲
Maybe you should just throw yourself into the work—fasting, kneeling, praying as much as you need to just to get that devil out of your system. Once your words start showing even a hint of the love that Jesus teaches, then maybe you can get back to preaching.😉

Where exactly am I reading all this contempt and bitterness from? 🙂?

We were all pretty much on the same page about how unchecked desire causes so much unrest and suffering in our lives.
As I see it, the only real way out is through true realization—finding that Divine spark inside ourselves—to actually uproot the cause of those struggles.
That’s the only cure that actually works, and once you succeed at it, you won't even *want* to
go back to your old ways of living.
You’ll uncover the truth within yourself, and that truth is what finally sets you free from all those fears you've been battling.
From there, it's just a matter of constantly striving to be better.

How on earth do you even dare to embark on a spiritual journey if you haven't even conquered your own fear of physical intimacy?

That’s a fair point, honestly, but I actually moved past all that ages ago.
I don't really have any fears about it, nor am I particularly obsessed with the physical side of things.
If that makes any sense, you know?

And what would be the third option?
