I honestly struggle so much to translate my thoughts into actual words... I find myself getting drawn into these debates all the time, and while I feel like I have all the necessary arguments lined up, everything feels so incredibly layered and complex that I just can't seem to boil it down into simple terms for everyone else to grasp...🤷
That’s why, for quite some time now, I’ve mostly been participating in these discussions from the sidelines—essentially just sitting here getting increasingly frustrated because I watch people spout nonsense or argue points they’re clearly wrong about, yet I can't seem to steer them toward the actual reality of the situation, whatever the topic may be. Now, I’ll admit, I did briefly wonder if perhaps my vocabulary was just too limited 🤣, but that isn't really the issue at hand. It’s more that whatever I’m thinking about or taking a stand on is just so nuanced and complicated to explain to others. I don't consider myself some profound philosopher by any means, but I do feel like I'm right far more often than I can actually demonstrate, simply because... my thoughts always seem to outrun my ability to put them into words. ☕

Man, I feel that, and honestly, I don't even care anymore. I have everything perfectly mapped out in my head, but I just can't spit it out. I end up looking as dumb as a brick. I guess some people just have better verbal intelligence or whatever you call it; personally, I'm stronger in logical reasoning—I've got an IQ of 158—but I can't string two sentences together to save my life. I always come off looking stupid. Whatever, I'm over it.

Look, some people just aren't communicators. It's a fact. And those who claim to be? They usually talk a massive amount of nonsense and manage to sound incredibly foolish while doing it. Here’s my advice: sit down at home, in total peace, and take those views you hold—the ones everyone is constantly bickering about—and force them into words. Take your time. It might take forever. Do it repeatedly. Eventually, when you're out in public, those sentences will just tumble out of your mouth automatically. It’s difficult, isn't it? Trying to navigate complex thoughts when you're suddenly pressured to state an opinion. Translating a mental construct into a verbal one is a heavy lift. So, find some solitude. When nobody is breathing down your neck and you actually have the luxury of time, weigh every single word. Shape your thoughts into language properly.

See?! I’m certainly not uneducated—quite the opposite, actually... when it comes to intelligence, I’ve always felt that verbal expression is perhaps the more prominent facet of the mind. My point is, maybe I just tend to view everything through too much of an abstract lens?! 😕

I guess... was that maybe because I’ve only actually finished four books in my entire life?🤔😬

Well, I really don't want to presume to lecture anyone on intelligence here... but I seem to know far too many people with incredibly high IQ scores who are completely lacking in social awareness. They struggle to navigate even the most trivial everyday situations, showing almost zero empathy or understanding for those around them. It’s quite a strange phenomenon; they might be masters of pure logic, yet when it comes to applying that reasoning to actual life circumstances, they are utterly lost. Just forget about 😛

Man, I’m dealing with the exact same headache 😬 It hits me a little differently though. I always think in full-blown sentences, but once I actually try to say them out loud, it comes out all wrong... I end up feeling like an idiot because what actually leaves my mouth sounds way less intelligent than what was in my head. It’s not even like I don't read much, honestly, I’ve got a pretty solid vocabulary and everything, but when it's down to the actual delivery..

Take it easy now... try to build the sentence in your mind first...
just take a second to really weigh which words you want to use
sometimes things get incredibly complex
so don't be afraid to lean on a few metaphors
play around with the vocabulary a little bit
mess with the style
if poets could express their deepest feelings through prose
they probably wouldn't bother with poetry at all 😉
... sure, you can do it with prose too... but with poetry, you actually feel it...

No, I don't think so.😵 Let’s try looking at it this way... am I really suggesting that my words alone can paint a full picture???! 🙂
I’m fully aware of what they mean, and I certainly wouldn't say I'm a stranger to prose—I do tend to be quite expressive...
But trying to take a vivid image straight from my mind and explain it to someone else? No way, it's just impossible.....
I'm throwing in the towel...

Are you actually suggesting that your thoughts are way too abstract to be captured by any kind of language??

She really thinks she's some kind of genius who needs to lecture the rest of us...☕
Nobody gives a damn that you can't put your feelings into plain English. Just accept that you've got a communication problem. There's no cure for it...☕

I’m far too clever for my own good, thank you very much 🙄

So, when it comes to dealing with people who just don't seem to grasp the obvious, how on earth am I supposed to descend to their level without losing my mind entirely?! Please, be so kind as to enlighten me 🙏

It could start with anything from a minor head injury... a concussion... and before you know it, you're looking at mild brain deformation or even permanent damage...👍

..don't go underestimating people... if you can actually manage to get straight to the point—without all that unnecessary fluff and overthinking—you might actually be heard... at least by anyone with a shred of common sense... as for everyone else? well, their opinion doesn't really matter anyway...

Oh man, it feels like everything I say just boils down to me trying too hard to sound smart... 🙂 What I mean is, even in casual, everyday conversations, this happens all the time. For instance, if I’m trying to recount some funny story that happened at work or out with friends, I’ll be talking and talking, building up the momentum, and then—🙂 dead silence. It ends up feeling more tragic than hilarious. Now, I wouldn't say it's a constant struggle every single day, but I have definitely been noticing it happening more frequently lately... (and believe me, I actually *do* have a sense of humor! 😁) I'm not trying to lecture anyone or act superior, it's just that I can't seem to get my point across or convince anyone of anything anymore... things just don't land the way they're supposed to.

It's because you're getting worked up. That frustration is what's blocking you. Try approaching it without letting the irritation take over.

Hey, Andrew Ramos10 ... just take a breather and try letting some nonsense slip out once in a while... just for the fun of it...
Who cares what anyone thinks anyway?
