...and then there's that second day of the period—when it's an absolute bloodbath (basically a Texas chainsaw massacre happening between my legs), you know? 🤣
😬

it would have looked so cute in color 😍

Anyone here able to break down how masturbation fits into the macrobiotic perspective?

Most stuff I read says it lasts about three days for women, which is pretty much my experience too.

Has anyone actually managed to stop their period entirely? (And no, I’m not talking about people with eating disorders).

Ritual purity? Whose rules are we following? Male ones? Why should menstrual blood be considered "unclean" by default? That’s just a byproduct of living in a patriarchal society.

And if you want to talk about being "unclean," there's more biological waste leaving a woman's body every single day than you'd ever care to imagine... maybe your little sect should only admit women with eating disorders. 😉 Just a thought.

Impurity lives in the mind, not the body. ☕

General.

Fine, why don't you guys just start your own matriarchal Wiccan temples? Go ahead, summon the sun and moon, dance naked around a bonfire, and then limp back to bed with some herbal tea. No one is forcing serious spirituality on you if you just want to play pretend; we live in a free country where everyone can do whatever they want.🙂

Most people shower before entering a temple, and healthy people generally don't have accidents everywhere (or in diapers).😂

If uncleanness is purely mental, then why bother washing? Why wash clothes or bedding? And why don't you just stop cleaning up and eat directly off the table during dinner?
If you're going to be a true Tantric, act like it. Stop cherry-picking pseudo-spiritual buzzwords only when it suits your convenience.😉

You completely missed the mark here.😉

And regarding the whole "impurity" thing... honestly, dental gangrene is way more disgusting than a period, and it smells much worse 😬 the second someone opens their mouth. And you can't fix that by just taking a shower. 🤣 Should we ban people like that from entering temples too?

Stigmatizing menstruation is really just an excuse to degrade women. "Oh, she's ritually unclean, yuck, yuck, yuck..." Please. Would you actually let a woman cook during those days? Wouldn't that also be considered "unclean"? 🤔

Well, I'm not sure if there are any specific rules regarding gangrene or general filth.😁

If you're asking me, I’d just ban women altogether; the whole period thing isn't even the main issue.🙂

I wouldn't want a woman cooking for me anyway; I'd prefer a reliable Brahmin. That would be much better.🙂

But that's the thing—menstruation is nothing more than an excuse.☕

Just cook for yourself.🙂 Unless this whole "tough guy" persona is just an act, why aren't you actually living by your principles and moving to India?🙂 Why bother making demands of someone who actually cares about you?
And if it's all just a performance, then you're even more hypocritical than those people who claim to be all about "spirit and matter" while they refuse to share a plate with anyone else.

In the context of Christianity, this isn't really an issue of theology; it’s fundamentally a matter of public health.

No, I wasn't talking about my period. I’m speaking for myself here; I don't need to use that as an excuse. My point was simply acknowledging why some people set rules that seem overly liberal or soft on women—even if I personally find them a bit much. It's understandable, though. 🙂

Look, I’m talking about who I actually consider "clean" enough to source food from for some kind of ritualistic purity. Cooking for myself isn't really part of this conversation—that's just a side note. 🙂

Obviously, you’re better off eating food prepared by someone with a clean track record—someone who actually lives by a solid moral code and maintains some semblance of spiritual discipline. It beats getting your meals from some lowlife criminal. But honestly? The absolute worst-case scenario is when the cooking is done by a woman you aren't even married to. That’s just asking for trouble. 🙂

1—Christianity is basically just a tantric-magic cult anyway.

2—People only frame it that way today to make an unpopular truth easier to swallow for the modern masses and to keep the sheep from wandering off.

It’s quite telling, bluemason3, just how much energy you pour into trying to prove the impossible. You seem obsessed with the idea that I shouldn't eat food prepared by a woman during her period, but as a Christian, that concept is completely irrelevant to me—just as it is to my God. 🙂

At this point, it’s pretty easy to see who is stuck in the past and who has actually moved forward.

In my faith, evil doesn't originate from what we eat; it stems from people, their words, and their actions. The purity of one's soul has absolutely nothing to do with the physical cleanliness of the body.

Look, honey, it’s all "irrelevant" to you, including why women read during Mass even though the Bible says women should remain silent in church. Up until the last council, it wasn't just women—nobody but the priest was allowed to read the Holy Scripture.

Back then, they had explanations for why things were done that way. Today, things have changed, and most people just swallow every update as if it were divinely ordained rather than just human interpretation.😉

Christianity is regressing. Ever since leaving Israel, it has been steadily losing its edge and its moral standards. It’s drifting away from its original purity and principles just to cater to a secular, materialistic, and incompetent masses. It’s basically Christianity operating on the "better than nothing" principle.🙂

Where in the New Testament does it actually say that women should be silent?🙂

Christianity is far too massive a movement to be free of parasites... there are so many different factions within the faith itself, like the Neocatechumenal Way or the Third Order, etc. What gets served up on CNN or in news columns—usually just a snippet of some sermon or a flash of someone's ego—is merely the tip of the iceberg. We shouldn't even talk about what lies beneath the surface. Because, at the end of the day, we are supposed to be talking about menstruation.

bluemason3😘 I'm not going to argue with you. I refuse.😍

In the Epistles, I can't recall which one...🙂

What kind of "Third Order" movement is that now? 🤔

And which Third Order are you referring to—Franciscan? 🤔

The Neocatechumenals certainly know how to act like a "church within a church."🤔

But how does any of that relate to what's written in the Bible and how people twist the interpretation just to fit modern times, especially when it clashes with current social views?😁

Don't start an argument, don't be such a partisan.😳 😉

Picture this: an older man in a sharp suit and a young woman in velvet sitting together in a train compartment...
"Excuse me, miss," he asks, "where exactly do these lines on your trousers lead?"
"To a rebus," she replies.
"Well then," the man asks, "could I perhaps cook a sausage and two eggs on that rebus of yours?"
"I think not! I'm busy cooking tomato soup," the girl answers.

Three-phase power🤣

I don't remember the exact epistles😵 but let's be real—you aren't going to accept any faith that doesn't sugarcoat what's laid out in the Holy Scripture anyway.

And please, let's not sour the mood with reckless comments.🙂

I'm not looking for an argument. I really am not.😍 And besides, what are you even going to do to me?😘

It’s not "honestly," it just is.🙂

So what does it mean that there's no sugar mentioned in the Holy Scripture?🤔 🤷

You know how it goes with these constant connections—it's hard to tell what men are even talking about half the time.😁

You're definitely not my kind of guy.😁

Menstruation serves as both a spiritual and physical cleansing process—not just for women, but for men as well. Women essentially absorb negative energetic concentrations—what we call emotions and feelings—from men and other women alike. This emotional buildup can also stem from the subconscious; it's those suppressed feelings deep in the soul finally breaking free. An energetic concentrate, a feeling, or an emotion is really just a thought imprinted onto Spirit or energy.

Blood represents the union of mind, air, water, fire, and earth. I’ve always viewed menstruation as a unique gift from God, designed to purge the human race of both emotional and physical impurities. Without it, people would undergo an involuntary spiritual purging lasting 25 to 50 years just to stay alive.
....
Once women hit menopause, their bodies begin to mirror those of men. At that stage, only a voluntary spiritual cleansing involving the five elements—mind, air, fire, water, and earth—can prevent rapid decline and death. Decay is as much an emotional issue as a physical one. Honestly, men who rely on women for spiritual cleansing through their menstrual cycle tend to die off even faster.

Just for Belkija 😉 :

The menstrual cycle plays a massive role in shaping the unique female psyche:
1. It sharpens a woman's intuition.
2. It makes women much more emotionally resilient—unless they’re absorbing an overwhelming amount of emotional energy from men. If they take in more than their rational mind and their cycle can process together, things get messy. Essentially, women act as stabilizers for men, clearing out their excess.
3. A woman's mind is cleaner and more sensitive.
4. A woman's spirit is more present and attuned.
5. In every measurable sense, women are more stable than men.
6. A woman's love is more reliable.
7. Women are essentially in a constant state of meditation on God.
8. Women intuitively grasp the truth; they don't actually need philosophy or religion, aside from using them for rituals. Generally speaking, women gravitate toward rituals because they can feel the tangible benefits. Men tend to despise them—until they finally discover their own spiritual sensitivity, which is really just their feminine side surfacing.
9. Women are naturally more spiritually advanced, provided they embrace their femininity and find joy in being women.
10. The menstrual cycle helps women feel better, enjoy life more, and stay healthier than men. Research suggests that married men are often happier, more successful, and live significantly longer than single men. This happens because they live with women who menstruate—women who process and neutralize their negative energy 24/7, releasing it once a month.
11. Women generally have longer lifespans than men; they benefit physically from their cycle, whereas men only reap the rewards on an energetic level through the aura.
12. If women acknowledge their true feminine power—balancing their cycle with a bit of rational wisdom—they can completely dominate men through their capacity to receive. They manage relationships with calmness, purification, and patience.
13. Women are simply more relaxed.
