What a load of nonsense.

It's probably a good thing you still have your wits about you, even if you don't own a television.🥳

One must understand that laughter serves as a fundamental indicator of recognition. While I cannot account for what strikes various individuals as humorous, that is simply the reality of the matter.😁

Yes. However, it would be quite improper to reject a gift from God; therefore, Muslim women are not required to perform the five daily prayers during their menstrual cycle.

So you’re telling me that receiving a gift means we’re exempt from prayer?🤔😵

Exactly. In Islam, there isn't just one way to pray; there are various types of prayer. The specific ritual performed five times a day is mandatory—the Salat. To ease the burden on women during their menstrual cycle, God provides a grace period where that particular obligation is waived.

a sine wave oscillating around an axis... it's simply a law of the universe. 🤣

Isn't it perfectly natural for female variability to gravitate toward male stability, and vice versa? 😉

The Scorpions aren't even gross 🤣

That's why Scorpios are basically mystics. 🙂

A close friend I used to live with really struggled because he couldn't experience what we go through.😬
He’d pace around the apartment, totally frantic, yelling, "Why? Why can't I have a period?" 🤣

Or when I—or my sister—would be doubled over in pain, skin turning pale from the cramps... he’d just stare there in this trance, not even noticing how sick we looked, and walk up all sadly and say, "Must be nice."😢"

It felt unfair to him since he was being denied what he called a "deeply mystical experience"😬

Just adding another male perspective to the conversation...🤣

😬

Look, let's be real here: the only thing about a period that actually makes life difficult is the pain.

If you aren't dealing with pain, or if you manage to get it under control, I don't see any damn reason why women can't jump right back into spiritual practices or physical workouts.

Obviously, it’s all personal. It comes down to how you actually feel and how you perceive what's happening with your body during your cycle.

For me? Both help. Staying active actually helps me recover and eases the physical discomfort. But hey, I get it—some people won't even be able to lift a finger. There are days when I'm totally wiped out too, so I'll just stay still on day one, sip some tea, and read a book. Most of the time, though, I'll knock out all 26 asanas twice.😁 It depends.

Everyone knows their own body (or at least they *should*), and you have to listen to those signals—regardless of what some doctor or holy scripture tells you to do. 🙄

It's just basic polarities, like the tension between the US and Russia.😁

Think of menstruation as a massive surge of energy—an outpouring of all those emotional build-ups that happen because of a biological "nesting conflict" occurring deep within your system. You didn't conceive, so your body essentially goes through a reset after preparing for it. It’s an objective truth that women possess a much sharper intuition than men, offering a greater capacity to tap into their inner selves and reach true self-actualization, though they inherently operate from a Yin perspective.
However, that surplus of energy doesn't have to be wasted; it can actually be transformed through a sort of alchemical process. There is this specific exercise called the Deer. It’s designed to halt the flow by redirecting that energy upward from the second chakra instead of letting it just bleed out externally.

Hannah Morris3 said:Menstruation serves as both a spiritual and physical cleansing process—not just for women, but for men as well. Women essentially absorb negative energetic concentrations—what we call emotions and feelings—from men and other women alike. This emotional buildup can also stem from the subconscious; it's those suppressed feelings deep in the soul finally breaking free. An energetic concentrate, a feeling, or an emotion is really just a thought imprinted onto Spirit or energy.

Blood represents the union of mind, air, water, fire, and earth. I’ve always viewed menstruation as a unique gift from God, designed to purge the human race of both emotional and physical impurities. Without it, people would undergo an involuntary spiritual purging lasting 25 to 50 years just to stay alive.
....
Once women hit menopause, their bodies begin to mirror those of men. At that stage, only a voluntary spiritual cleansing involving the five elements—mind, air, fire, water, and earth—can prevent rapid decline and death. Decay is as much an emotional issue as a physical one. Honestly, men who rely on women for spiritual cleansing through their menstrual cycle tend to die off even faster.

(Leonard Orr, ''On Your Femininity'')

So basically, if you're pure enough, you don't even need that menstrual cleansing.😁
