🙏 🙏 Fantastic!

It would have been a confrontation with an entirely unpredictable outcome anyway...😁

👋 Stay safe out there!

Honestly, you’re just another tedious, pathetic individual lacking even a shred of empathy or creativity—I truly regret ever engaging in conversation with you. Best of luck to you and your predictable little existence, perfectly tailored to fit right into our beautiful, noble society...

Veronica, I have just one question: where on earth do you think you get the right to act this way?

Look, honey, being gay isn't someone's fault, and neither is mental illness... but being a drug addict? That's a choice, and there is a HUGE difference there! I didn't see anything in the text about judging people based on their sexual orientation.
And as for "rights"—I don't quite get the question? Are we not allowed to have our own opinions on things? Or are we just forbidden from actually saying them out loud? 👎

You know, I think I'll share a little something—though I might be being far too subjective here—regarding that particular post... I've waded through some of your previous writings, and honestly, I find myself agreeing with you regarding the way people romanticize addiction. My apologies, truly...

Where do you all get the right to pass judgment on kind, empathetic people? I was actually just talking to my grandmother about gay rights recently, and she mentioned how they used to be jailed back in the day—and honestly, even now, you still hear those nasty comments, like "look at that queer, someone needs to teach him a lesson." I think I'll step away from discussing addicts; it's all a bit too heavy and depressing for me. My apologies once again to Chris Peterson53, and I truly wish you nothing but the best—success in everything you aim for, and a life filled with happiness and comfort, free from suffering, pain, anger, bitterness, or rage... goodbye.

Whoa, hold on—do you need glasses or something? Because I am definitely not judging anyone based on their orientation. From everything I've READ in this entire thread, nobody has even brought that up.... The whole discussion is about drugs, not sexual orientation....

Anyway, take care!👋

In your own post, you’re playing the role of the high-and-mighty judge—labeling others as "losers" and forcing your personal condemnation onto them.
You're passing judgment without even having read all the posts, which means you're judging by the exact same criteria you use to insult those you claim are at the bottom of the "social hierarchy"!
So, tell me—just how low are you actually?

Yeah, I know I was judging you all in that post. It was intentional. Is it really fair to get upset when someone finally uses your own methods against you?

Besides, I have read everything. This entire pile of self-righteous preaching and "well-meaning advice" is hard to escape outside of the religion subforum. Not that I mean everyone—there were actually a few decent responses in there—but specifically you and these other pathetic types:

quiethound45 said:I guess you have a point..
reading that post, it reminds me of those pride parades and all that push for rights..where's the money coming from?..if you want to deal with the consequences of your own choices—it's your call. if someone forced you or pushed you—no... then nobody's stopping you, so just stay quiet and suck it up however you see fit..
it's the same thing with addicts..
who's to blame if they choose to use..if they're making foolish decisions, that's on them..in a few years, there'll just be one less fool out there.🙂

Look... if society wasn't such a wreck... you probably wouldn't even touch drugs in the first place... and if you did, you'd be like, "hey, I'm actually doing fine and keeping my head straight in this environment." Bottom line? Addicts are a direct product of this "wonderful" society... but don't forget the reality check: there's no "better" version out there...
Facing that truth feels like a death sentence... except maybe you just wake up in some other dimension where these limits don't exist... might feel similar to being on heroin... but way better since you'd be constantly in that "sweet spot"...

That's when people start calling you a freak! A total weirdo!

It seems we’ve all collectively tried to offer some semblance of advice to the girl who started this thread.
Look, I’m not going to engage with those comments along the lines of "junkies should just drop dead" or whatever; honestly, that kind of rhetoric is completely out of line (to say the least).

Everything was proceeding relatively smoothly until Noah Sanchez7 showed up and, as a few people have pointed out, began essentially glorifying drugs and addicts (though if you actually bother to read his previous posts, you'll see what I mean). That’s where I lost my cool!

I don't look down on anyone, and I believe everyone’s struggles are valid, no matter how trivial or nonsensical they might seem to an outsider.
Furthermore, I find it incredibly foolish to draw comparisons between being gay and being an addict; it’s not as if someone wakes up and makes a conscious choice to be gay, whereas addiction is a path one actively walks into.

And yes, I did write in one post that I "couldn't care less" about addicts, but that was strictly in the heat of an argument with Noah Sanchez7. His perspective on the very nature of drug use is nothing short of appalling. When I made that comment, I was primarily venting at him and people with his specific mindset, not the rest of the community—many of whom, unlike him, are actually seeking help to get clean.

To those pointing out that we feel condescended to by people who clearly lack firsthand experience: I’ve been following this discussion from the jump, and I’ve noticed that many of us who are being "called out" (myself included) actually do have personal history with this. It often means we are indirectly tied to the issue. We’ve already established that it isn't just the users who suffer, but also their families and the people who love them.

I won't go on a long list of how many people I know—or used to know—who struggled with addiction, because that's beside the point right now. But no one here can tell me that I lack personal experience in this area.Unfortunately!

But I just remembered that famous verse: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do"...

My gut tells me that your prejudice won't last much longer—actually, not much longer at all—because people are starting to realize the truth. For some, it's a slow process; for others, it happens fast.
Most people fall into the slow category. Since they are the majority, their opinions tend to carry more weight.
So, the slightly sharper minds are "condemned" by this injustice, and all that remains is for them to fight against it.
To fight in every way possible, even if it costs them their lives.

Evil, intolerance, and stupidity are things that slowly fade away. Let that be your light in the dark, because it certainly is mine.

Keep loving your little angel. Keep pushing forward, just like everyone else. Don't give up... Protect Him! 😘

They aren't fading, Noah... if anything, I think the world has seen more stupidity and evil since its inception than ever before... you gotta fight that differently...

Nothing is fading in this era!
Sadly...
Noah... not in this era...

I’ll just add one more thing—I really can’t defend myself against this, so please, give it a rest. Stop looking down on Noah Sanchez7 or claiming his way of thinking is somehow "horrific," because it simply isn't. You all were in the wrong, throwing around those vile comments—you know, the kind where people say things like, "You'll be food for worms while I'm cruising in my Mercedes." Honestly, having one less idiot around isn't the end of the world, and hiding behind the "majority versus minority" argument is just unfair; you shouldn't attack someone just because they don't align with the crowd... it's truly pathetic. It's perfectly clear why he reacted the way he did. Good grief, you're attacking him as if he's some sort of monster or the ultimate villain. It’s hardly surprising that he feels cornered—that he sees drugs as his only escape—whether he's actually promoting them for profit or not. Even if that were true, I can't find it in me to blame him. In an environment this cutthroat and judgmental, where everyone just piles on a single person, his mindset makes sense. Truly, I think I've had enough of this...

Less condemnation and a little more empathy—that's how we make things better.

Like someone else mentioned, I've gone back and read some of his older posts too, and he actually has some pretty smart things to say sometimes. But you can't just ignore the fact that he glorifies drug use. To me, it doesn't matter whether he promotes it or not, but like I already pointed out, there are kids reading this. So what exactly is he telling them? Is that really okay? I get that he wants to grab attention and find success, but he could definitely do it in a better way. I just know he's capable of it. And all of them are. I don't judge anyone—not gay people, not kleptomaniacs, not immigrants... nobody. They're all human beings, but so are we, the ones who don't see eye to eye with them. If he's going to advocate so hard for diversity and the right to personal choice, then he has to let us say what we think and respect our choices too, without making a face like it's some kind of crime.

Azrael, look... nobody here is actually CONDEMNING Tencent or Upwork.
He was the first one to claim that "we" (presumably the conformists, the small-minded, and the rest of the crowd) are just chasing money to buy luxury Mercedes cars—which is such a sweeping generalization—whereas he, unlike us unilluminated souls, is chasing money just to get high.
It’s as if he’s positioned himself above the rest of us, acting like he’s somehow more spiritually evolved because he’s supposedly cracked the code to the meaning of life or existence or whatever it is.🙄

Now, I’m certainly not defending comments like "let the worms eat him," but honestly, that’s just a much more radical way of saying "you brought this on yourself." I’m convinced about 90% of people would say that exact phrase if they actually had the guts to do it. Most "average, everyday" Americans just don't have any sympathy for addicts.
They’re selfish, they don't contribute anything to the community, no matter how you define society, and they wreck the lives of everyone around them without giving a single damn.

And then, predictably, they act surprised when they end up poor, isolated, rejected, and judged by everyone.
Give me a break.

I really have to thank you, truly.

If we argue that gay people didn't choose their orientation—which is a relative argument anyway—then we could also say addicts are just born with an "addictive personality," making the whole discussion moot.

Some people claim I'm promoting or glorifying drugs. Based on how they read my entire post...
Well, if that's the case, they completely missed the point.
The way you bring up gay people and compare addicts to pedophiles... that truly insults me.
Whether you think I'll rot in the ground while you drive around in a Mercedes, or say "it's better to have one less addict," it doesn't affect me at all. That only reflects on YOU.
It shows who you really are, quite accurately, because that is exactly what you are. And let me tell you, very few actual addicts "have the guts" to say things like that (and I mean true junkies, not the posers), which is why I will proudly stand on their side in every single way, even with a needle in my vein.
Because, my dear people, that will be my escape; that will be my happiness..
In that way, I will embrace death with open arms and fall into its lap, without ever casting a single glance back at miserable people like you.
Because my stomach has already started to fail me—not from drugs, but from the malice I can't seem to escape. I feel it everywhere I go.

There's no point arguing with you because truth means nothing to you. You are all just a rotten tooth.

That's all from me on this thread.

He really can't do better. Noah Sanchez7 is your textbook drug addict. Everything he says, whether it's here or on any other thread, follows that exact same pattern you hear from every other junkie out there. Noah Sanchez7, am I wrong? I'm pretty sure I'm not. It’s just that whole scene, that philosophy, that specific way of living. He isn't some lone wolf on this forum either; if you take the time to compare his posts to, say, those from other addicts in this thread, a lot of the ambiguity just disappears.

As for the person who started this thread, I truly hope she finds her path as soon as possible so she can save herself and her kid. If she can just find that inner strength, she won't need a rehab center or a hospital. She can handle this all on her own within her own four walls. I’m convinced of it. I know of at least one success story right here on this forum—someone who fought through fifteen years of continuous addiction using nothing but sheer willpower, and they made it out the other side.

Tina, once you finally find (hopefully very soon), make sure you stick to it and don't look back. Good luck.

Look, you're missing my point; that's not what I meant. I said >>>>>> you chase the Mercedes, I'll chase the high!!!

I have nothing against you chasing that Mercedes; that's your path to happiness, and I'm genuinely glad you're happy. But the high is MY path to happiness, and it's the way for me to be happy!!

I haven't been looking down on anyone except those who lack even an ounce of understanding or tolerance for what I'm writing. And I'm not just writing about myself or for my own sake!
I'm talking about the millions of people who are "addictive personalities"—and honestly, they love drugs. That's just the de facto reality.

The whole essence of my existence can be summed up as: Live, work, and be happy (all the way to heaven), but let others live, work, and be happy (all the way to hell) too.
In the process, don't force your "paths to happiness" on them, because what looks like happiness to you might not be the same for me! We're all different people, and there's plenty of discrimination out there.
