Why do people keep pushing it when they know they're breaking the law?

Every single small business owner out there... and honestly, I could go on forever listing these types of outfits... is just sitting there itching to find some loophole or a "creative" way to dodge their taxes. It’s exhausting. Why isn't anyone at City Hall actually paying attention to this? Or better yet, why isn't anyone in Washington trying to actually fix the system and rewrite these laws to make sense?

And why on earth would anyone change anything when everyone is just looking out for their own skin?
The local city council is doing the exact same thing, screwing over taxpayers.
And do you really think anyone gives a damn about any of this? Especially those politicians. When was the last time they actually did something for the good of the people without making sure they lined their own pockets first?

simply because you get that little rush of satisfaction from thinking you managed to outsmart someone even more crooked than yourself 🙂

Why don't they realize they've completely screwed themselves over?

I mean, I honestly don't see how I managed to screw myself over by doing that...

The whole point of the tax system is to squeeze out as much revenue as possible...
but the whole point of being a taxpayer is to keep as much of your own money as you can...
and honestly, both sides are just playing the game by the rules provided...
