Oh, come onβ€”could we maybe try a little positivity here?!!!! 😍 I’m 24, I’m not working, I don't own a house, and I’m still stuck in school😍

Give me a break. πŸ™„

That’s often how depression worksβ€”on the surface, everything looks perfectly fine, but underneath, there is just this constant, heavy turmoil...
it reaches a point where nobody around you even suspects a thing, while you find yourself sinking deeper and deeper into the void.

What a joke. πŸ™„

So, let me guessβ€”you're a law student?😍

so nobody even notices you're drowning while you sink deeper and deeper.

literally me...
stuck in a deep rut, yet somehow I'm always the one giving advice and cheering up people who vent to me...
sometimes I feel like nobody actually hears me because I'm too busy playing the happy clown.
so I just retreat into my own little bubble...

Administrative law? Most of my colleagues end up in a psych ward after dealing with that. I’m getting out of there as soon as possible.😍

Financial stability isn't even the issue here... I get that, because if it were actually about money, you wouldn't even be online right now...πŸ˜‰

Look, man, you're twenty-five...
Just have some patience...
That’s all you need. Eventually, you'll look back at how you thought when you were twenty-five and realize how much you've changedβ€”you'll laugh at yourself.
πŸ™‚

And trust me, there are plenty of smart, high-quality women living right here in our city... you know....

And let’s be realβ€”I’m not exactly miles away from that edge myself. 😬

And it’s worth pointing out that your personality shifts as you age... which, honestly, is a pretty positive thing if you think about it.πŸ™‚

Look, if you really want to know... when I finally made my way back to the Forum a few days ago after a two-year hiatus and saw you and all your posts... my first thought was simply, "Who is this person?!"... Wow.
And honestly, coming from my neck of the woods...

Self-confidence is an internal state. You don't just "have" it; you lack it only if you fail to learn how to wield it effectively. Every single one of us possesses it deep down...

For real though...

I'm a terrible teacherβ€”I can't explain things well and nobody ever understands me.😬
So, what part of the certification is tripping you up? I'm guessing it's the database stuff or maybe the information and communication modules?

And hey, coming from my neck of the woods, too...

Confidence is one of those thingsβ€”you don't really have it unless you actually learn how to lean into it. It’s already inside all of us, waiting there...

Are you seriously talking about me? πŸ™ˆ πŸ˜‚

So, what exactly is your issue with the ECDL certification? Are we talking about database management, information systems, or communication skills?

The fact remains that I dropped several hundred dollars on this exact same thing...πŸ˜› πŸ™„
And then there is the matter of being forced to sit through actual classes....
Imagine my situation: I'm 35 years old, and I've been shoved right back into a classroom setting like some schoolboy...
At least I manage to keep everyone entertainedβ€”my classmates, my fellow students, and even the professor, naturally....😁
