When she’s doing alright, she gets stuff done, handles the practical side of things, passes her exams, and basically acts like SCH doesn't even exist. But when things go south... man, she falls apart so hard she wouldn't even be able to turn the computer on. Or so it seemed to me once...

That’s the truth.

briskgull27 said:Honestly, since we’ve known each other for so long, I can tell you straight up: I would absolutely die on a boat. I tried it once, and it was just not my thing at all.

I’m doing well, actually—maybe even a little better than usual. Still, nobody from SCH has reached out yet. Are they just being completely crazy, or did they lose their computers or something? Who knows! Anyway, how about you??😁 🙂

Personally, I thought being on a ship was absolutely wonderful...😍 I mean, you look ahead—ocean. You look behind you—ocean. Left? Ocean. Right? More ocean!😍 I didn't even feel like I was on a boat at all... 🙂

So... yeah... I'm okay... everything is more or less fine... just don't ask me again until next week... I have two exams coming up... next week...

So, I was actually trying to teach my brother the ropes of how to navigate a forum today...
and oh my god, he doesn't know a single thing!!!! 😂 😱 It really hit me lately just how obsessed everyone has become with being online... even my friend—who, mind you, was asking me just a month ago, "Why on earth do you spend so much time on the internet and forums?"—she's totally hooked now too.

And people are so terrified of anything labeled "schizophrenic." They're scared of people with schizophrenia. And we end up right back where we started—with all those old prejudices... they just don't get it...

At least, that's how I see it.👎

Man, what actually happens inside the brain of someone with schizophrenia? Beyond all that chemical imbalance talk you guys were hitting on earlier?😕 Is it really just a matter of chemistry?😕

Oh, the ocean... mmmm, man, there is just nothing like the ocean.
Teaching your brother, huh??? Well, maybe he's just someone who's very sensory-oriented!😁 😁
As for me, it’s clear why I’m here—what else would I be doing? It isn't really an addiction; you just sit at home and talk to people, it's that easy.
And you know what the paradox is? I’m actually afraid of people—not everyone, obviously, just certain types you meet in crowded places. It might sound strange given what the person above said about having a vision that almost came true, but for me, this thread is part of that reality.👍 😁

Well, just like anyone else, it comes down to chemistry and hormones.

Now, I’ve always had a thing for boats and being out on the water (though not necessarily for swimming in it 😁), but I have to admit, standing there by the railing of that massive ship, I was constantly paranoid about accidentally dropping all that money overboard 😁

Keeping your cash right by the railing, huh?😁 😁 😁 😁 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

And you know what? I actually asked this before... but absolutely nobody gave me an answer... 😬 it was something along the lines of—hey, how many of you are actually out there? 🙂 I mean, specifically on this "schizo" thread? 😍

Haha, but according to official statistics, you're looking at just 1% of the population.

Honestly, nobody knows for sure yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if we get a real answer soon... modern neurology and neuropsychology are moving at a crazy fast pace these days...

.
Yeah, I get it—it’s that feeling when you're being pulled in two different directions. It draws you toward the edge because it looks so tempting, but it's dangerous—one wrong move and your dog could end up tumbling straight into the Atlantic. 😁

I’m going to run a little "sanity check" with my husband's help—we haven't been intimate in two days.
Since he’s never even entertained the idea of self-harm, I figured he'd be the perfect person to help me out with this.

briskgull27, maybe you've heard the rumors... is it actually true that the highest percentage is among thin, smart Black women, and they tend to burn out fast once they hit their late 20s?😕

Can you imagine leaning against a pier, having another boat bump right into yours, and watching your gear drift away while your cash stays stuck in your pocket?😍 🙄 😁

Are you trying to flirt with me? I see what you're doing. But honestly, that just isn't true.😕 😕
Why not try doing a quick search online?😕 😕

Well, that’s certainly not the most rational way to look at it—though I suppose everyone else had the exact same thought.

Well, I mean... when it comes to those official numbers... I've definitely read up on that stuff... 🤣 🤣 🤣

But what I actually meant was right here on this forum—because, honestly, a handful of people have already mentioned having schizophrenia—so, I figured—let's just count them, how many of them are actually hanging out on this board.

We aren't even talking about the same thing—you're over here making it about sex.

If I were in your shoes, I'd just moderate this thread myself—keeping the casual chatter strictly to the lounge topics where it belongs.

Only about five people have weighed in so far, but I’m curious—how many members are actually in this forum?
