I know they open at 9:00 AM. Do you need me to send over the address?🙂

Okay, awesome, thanks! I was thinking about heading over there early in the morning.
I know they're somewhere near the ExxonMobil in San Diego, but I'm not 100% certain, so if you could just drop the exact location, that would be great. I thought about just looking it up on GPS, but honestly, this is way easier. 😉

Just park at the ExxonMobil station. Once you're there, look for the stairs right by the road when you head toward TG, and you can head down. There’s a little bakery on the ground floor on the right side. It’s not super flashy with big signs, but you really can't miss it. Honestly, if you're ever unsure, just give them a call once you pull into the gas station and ask someone to meet you out by the road. 🙂By the way, their pastries are absolutely divine—you aren't going to regret it!

The address is bunja 62, Phone: 021217393

Thanks so much!!!
We actually already went ahead and ordered some small treats, even though we probably could have waited a bit longer. I just couldn't stomach throwing away several thousand bucks on a massive wedding cake when we've heard nothing but rave reviews for this place. They’re definitely more budget-friendly, but honestly, the quality is top-tier and they taste amazing.
We haven't officially locked everything in regarding the cake yet, so we're really hoping to get some local advice or a solid recommendation once we arrive so we can finalize all the details.
Anyway, thanks a million for the help!! 🌼

No worries at all!
Just let me know how much that cake ends up costing and how many people it serves so I can keep my own budget in check too, haha!

Yeah, I'm curious too.
Also, does anyone have a lead on someone who handles restaurant decor? I need someone to just take over the whole vibe—flowers, general decor, setting the tables, all those little Pinterest-style details like quote frames and small trinkets... but I don't want to get ripped off. Honestly, I haven't even got a clue what that kind of stuff costs these days.

I actually got in touch with Lalisia decor recently. She has a Facebook page, and her work is absolutely stunning. She even mentioned that if I have certain materials or decor pieces already, she can incorporate them into her designs. You should reach out to her and let her know what you're looking for. She can give you a quote, or you could just give her a specific budget to work within and go from there.🙂

Does anyone know what the going rate is for formal hairstyles over at D'art or at Anthony's salon in San Francisco?

Also, any other recommendations for places that actually know what they're doing?
I need pricing for myself as a bride, plus hair for the maid of honor and two standard blowouts..

Everywhere else—honestly, at least 30% cheaper—unless you tell them it’s for a wedding... 😢

Scott Jones said:Around here, the tradition is that when people are heading out from the reception, they stop by to say goodbye to the couple, drop off any gifts they might have, and then receive a little thank-you gift or some sweets in return.

This is actually weighing on me quite a bit.
I'm stuck on when and how to handle giving out thank-you notes, and also managing all the gifts coming in..🤔.
I mean, regarding cash envelopes—since those bringing larger items, maybe more sentimental things like framed photos,
usually arrange to drop them off either right before or after the reception.

I know in places like the Midwest or Washington, D.C., they sometimes go through these massive marathons of gift-giving where guests just line up to congratulate the couple... we definitely don't want that. And like Scott Jones mentioned,
the tradition is usually that people give their gift as they leave, and you provide a thank-you in return.

So, I'm wondering where to put everything... maybe a box on the table that was mentioned earlier? Or should I just hand them off to the parents or the best man... if anyone has any creative suggestions, I'd be grateful.🎉

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Pezelj over by the main shopping center in San Francisco. They're great.🙂>

Hey there 🙂 I’m getting married this fall in San Francisco and I could really use some info and advice if anyone here is experienced with this stuff. We booked our date pretty fast so we’re kind of racing against the clock, and honestly, the panic is already starting to set in. So far, we’ve secured a venue, but we’re still deciding on a church. Ideally, I’d love somewhere near the waterfront—maybe something like Saint Dominic, Duke, or Frank. Also, for the ladies who’ve been through this, how did you handle parking? Do you need some specific permit from the city or what?
Also, I need a recommendation for a band. I want both male and female vocals, specifically a powerful female lead, and they need to play urban music—nothing cheesy or folk-style—and the price shouldn't go over $2,000. I also need a recommendation for a modern photographer and videographer where the whole package stays under $1,000. I hope I'm not asking for too much 🙂. Oh, and any makeup recommendations? I really want to do a trial run first. Anyway, I know that's a lot of questions, but thanks so much for any help you can give 🙂

I actually got married last fall in San Francisco, but unfortunately, I can't be much help beyond maybe lending you some makeup products. Most places offer a trial run, though if I remember correctly, they do charge for those sessions.

Regarding the makeup itself, Sejla did mine and I was really happy with the results.🙂
If you’re just looking for general recommendations for makeup artists in San Francisco, I could list a few names if that helps you out..
Amadea Makeup, Helena Makeup, IB Makeup, Maja Banic Makeup, or Josipa Svalina.

Sadly, I haven't personally worked with anyone else besides Sejla. :/🙂

Thanks, I don't really mind paying for the trial makeup session, since I'm definitely going to use the excuse to head out somewhere 🙂

Does anyone happen to know where I could pick up those card storage boxes here in the States? Also, I'm looking for a different kind of guest book—maybe one of those tree designs where people can sign their names or leave fingerprints? I saw it on Pinterest and honestly, I'm pretty obsessed with the idea.

Something like this https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...fcd819cdd7.jpg

And for the guest book, maybe go with something like this https://img0.etsystatic.com/030/0/7757611/il_340x270.575319890_2hst.jpg

We've got Dominic's wedding coming up pretty soon As for parking, if I remember right, you don't need any special permits from the city. You can just grab a spot at the downtown market once they clear out all the vendor stalls (our wedding isn't until around 7 PM), but for the other guests, I guess it's harder to say

We actually did our guest book just like that... I ordered mine from DaWand, though it was through a German vendor, so shipping to the States ended up being a bit of a thing.

Here's the link, so maybe you could check if they ship to the US

Is nobody from the parking enforcement actually going to slap a ticket on you for parking over by the farmer's market? Or are you talking about the main downtown plaza? Also, when’s the wedding scheduled for—which month?

Thanks for the link to the guest book, but is this thing written in German? 😁 And how many of those prints are there? Our party is a bit smaller...

Just grab a wooden box at ST Offertiss (maybe like $4 or $5) and you can just repaint it or do some decoupage on it yourself. 🙂
