Does anyone have recommendations for where in San Francisco I can get wedding photos printed from a USB drive?
I need them to be high quality. Thanks!

Just checking in from the guys' side of things 😁

Any recommendations for a wedding venue in San Francisco, Santa Monica, Savannah, or somewhere nearby?
To be honest, I don't care much about the specific spot—my fiancée is from New York and she’s really looking for a more minimalist, clean vibe.
We aren't exactly dropping money on a massive estate or anything crazy, so we're looking for some beautiful spots that won't break the bank. We're expecting around 100-110 guests.

Thx

So, I’m also on the hunt for some restaurant or venue recommendations for a group of about 200-250 people?

Ideally, if there's any way to host an outdoor wedding ceremony... a hotel would be totally fine too🙂. We’ll need enough room to accommodate everyone (we don't live anywhere near California🕺), so keep that in mind! Thanks so much for all the suggestions, everyone🎉

Thanks for the heads up.
Anyone here actually been to Jack Sparrow? I know the food is killer, but I’m curious about the vibe inside—is it actually nice? Also, did anyone have issues finding parking? Since they don't have their own lot, it seems like it could be a headache.

Given your guest count, there should be plenty of parking nearby. The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely, though I suppose it depends on when the wedding is held and whether the outdoor terrace is available...
Highly recommended.

I think I'm going with Jack Sparrow in the end—thanks for all the help, everyone.
Now I'm looking into music and photography. I’ve been browsing the threads and noticed a lot of people bringing up Pixar, but I’m getting the vibe that not everyone is exactly thrilled with them. Anyone willing to share their actual experiences?
As for the music, I need a DJ or a band. Just nothing like Christina Aguilera, Pitbull, or any of that cheesy, redneck, right-wing stuff...
If you've got any solid recs, let me know.🙂

I attended a News Corp reception at a restaurant where the Vox Media band was playing, and honestly, I suppose I haven't really cared about anyone else since. 😁

Journey, the band from the coast, made it clear right from the jump that they don't play typical wedding pop. They have more of an alternative vibe, but man, they create such an incredible atmosphere. They even sent over their repertoire along with a request form, so you can pick a specific song for your grand entrance or the bouquet toss—or just let them take the reins if you want to be surprised. They played a mix of international hits and American classics. A few of our relatives were a little hesitant about all the foreign music, but plenty of others absolutely loved the setlist (they even played some Pink Floyd!). Plus, we had a local accordion player joining in, so those traditional American favorites were covered perfectly. All in all, there was something for everyone... 🙂
As for the photographer—I went with Apple. They did my shoot, then my godmother’s, and now they’re doing my sister's too. I am honestly just so thrilled with their service and how they handle everything. They’re super approachable and laid-back; you barely even notice them at the wedding because they just blend right in with the guests...

You might want to check out Ino Hall; they just finished some renovations, the prices are super reasonable, and the food is fantastic (they actually have a great reputation for their catering). My only concern is that their main hall might be a bit too big for us since it fits at least 180, though they do have a lower level, I'm just not sure if that part has been updated yet.
Maybe give Jack Sparrow a shot? It has a lovely atmosphere, the service is solid, and it's perfect for a smaller wedding...

Check out Nautic or the halls in San Diego (I think that's the name), The White House, or Catherine in Austin... they all have both venues and hotels, plus plenty of space for 200-250 people

Thanks so much for the heads-up! 🙂 We actually stumbled upon something else in the meantime—the Aurora venue over in St. Peter by the coast... has anyone here ever worked with them? They seem pretty legit to me. 🙂

Man, I haven't been a guest there in forever... but damn, the view was killer. Parking was just out in the middle of nowhere, but honestly, the venue itself was pretty solid—way back in the day though...

Thanks for the input! 🙂 I'll definitely keep you guys posted on how everything turns out... things are looking pretty promising so far, but we'll see! 😁

So, if anyone has some solid recommendations for a florist who can handle wedding decor, a great bakery for the cake and sweets, or even a talented makeup artist and hairstylist... I'm all ears! 🎉

I’m on the hunt for some solid catering options in the San Diego or Orlando area.
I've been scrolling through various websites, trying to weigh TH Catering against Berekin Catering.
Has anyone here actually used them? I'm curious about the quality of the food—is it worth the hype?

redmoose23 said:Hi everyone,

Since it seems like some of my previous comments have been helpful to you all, I wanted to sit down and write out our full impressions. Our catering was handled at the Palace Salon. Even though we heard some chatter about the manager being a bit eccentric—which has been mentioned here before—we actually sat down and hashed out every single detail a few days before the wedding. During the actual event, he was completely at our service, and the head venue coordinator was the absolute height of professionalism. As for the food? It was incredible. We didn't lack for anything, and we even had guests telling us they’d never eaten better at a wedding reception. We definitely recommend them!

Regarding the floral arrangements from Lanterna—honestly, a huge disappointment. Despite seeing nothing but glowing reviews online, that just wasn't our experience. We went over everything in painstaking detail and even sent over reference photos of exactly what we wanted. The bridal bouquet didn't even come close to the look I requested; parts of it were already wilted and dried out. But the worst part? More than half the flowers in the hall were artificial, even though we explicitly stated we didn't want any fake flowers—yet we were charged the full price for fresh blooms. The room looked lovely at first glance, but when we went to pick up some bouquets at the end of the night, we realized only the ones on our specific table were actually fresh. Judging by the photos they post on social media, I suspect this is a regular practice of theirs, so please, be careful.
For makeup, I highly recommend Violeta Kekezovic. After a few frustrating trial runs with other people, everything went perfectly with her. She listens to exactly how much makeup you want and what kind of look you're aiming for. If you want a natural makeup look, she’s your girl. 👍
Luka's Ice Cream Shop was fantastic—their tarts and mousses were delicious.
The cakes from Dolcemania were great too; everything was exactly as agreed and tasted wonderful.

Good luck !!

I'll second that. During the initial consultation, we were crystal clear about what we wanted and our specific budget. Our plan $1667 = main table featuring live flowers and candles, 15 guest tables with tall pearl holders, a bridal bouquet, two boutonnieres for the groomsmen, and a car garland. We specified light pink and white for the colors and the car decor. I made it extremely clear that I did not want artificial flowers paired with tulle on the car. Once the quote was sent, the harassment started—constant calls demanding the 30% deposit. And get this: the deposit goes into one of the daughters' college accounts. Then, a week before the wedding, their phones "stop working"—one can't use her speaker, the other keeps redirecting me to the first... we ended up having our final discussions via WhatsApp voice notes 🙄
On wedding day—the bouquet was gorgeous, and the main table was flawless. But for the car? They gave us fake flowers with tulle. When I reached out after the wedding to let them know that wasn't what we agreed upon regarding the car, I just got a WhatsApp message saying: "Srry.". To top it off, the final bill didn't reflect the deposit we paid, so we had to argue about that too.
Overall impression = $1667 way too much money for such subpar service and attitude. You're basically paying for a bouquet, three centerpieces, 15 candle rentals, and some recycled fake flowers and tulle for the car. As for their professionalism... well, you can draw your own conclusions.

If you're having the wedding at St. Peter by the sea, I'd suggest checking out Gloria Florist in Orlando. They're great; just look them up on Facebook or Instagram...
For bakeries, everyone points to Fantazia in San Diego (I actually have to stop by there myself soon), so I'll let you know how it goes.
