It was in Savannah, at the Bellevue ballroom. I actually dropped a link to the photos in my signature...

Shoot me a PM if you want more details so we don't clog up the thread here 😍

Greetings, everyone! I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite some time now—and honestly, thank you all—you’ve been an absolute lifesaver. I feel like I’ve finally tracked down everything I needed to know. There is just one glaring omission in my research: I haven't managed to snag the contact numbers for the makeup artists. Specifically, those names you keep mentioning—Antonije Guć and Goga—so if anyone would be kind enough to pass their info along, I would be incredibly grateful! I’m getting married next May, and since I am—admittedly—a total perfectionist when it comes to the details, I figured it’s better to start the grind early.

I sent you Goga's number, but someone else from the group will probably get you Antonije Guć's info.😉>

hey girls, I was wondering if you could maybe help me out with some recs for bands, photographers, hair stylists, or makeup artists... My big event is in November and I honestly haven't booked a single thing yet.

Also, if you happen to have any phone numbers handy, that would be amazing. Thanks!

Welcome 😁

For bands, I've got plenty of leads. Here are my top picks: Viva, Brava Band, Major League Baseball, Orange, Barbary (which is actually my band!), Bomba, Pink Panther, 100s, and Flash.....
I'll shoot most of those numbers over to you via PM

As for photographers, check out Jakov Teklić or Ivica lisjak http://www.ivicalisjak.com/
Paramount Pictures (I've used them before) http://www.weddingstudioin.com/
Sina, Matić.....

For makeup, I highly recommend my girl Antonija Guć, or Goga—so many girls have used Goga for their big day (sending the numbers to your PM now)

as for Tina... I'll shoot those contact details over to you via DM.

Had the best day ever at Vlaentinovo! The band Viva was playing and honestly, they were unreal. I'm still buzzing from how amazing they were, especially with everyone traveling from all over the States to be there 🙏🙏🙏
If you're looking to book them for your wedding, just do it. You won't regret it 😍😍

Hey ladies, has anyone actually hired that DJ—you know, the one everyone keeps raving about—for a wedding? I’m pretty much ready to pull the trigger and book him based on the glowing reviews, but I’m such a neurotic planner that I need to know if there are any red flags I should watch out for... is he actually as good as they say?😉
The reception would be at a place called The Corsair, sometime in September... I haven't had a chance to check out the actual layout since I'm not in Los Angeles right now, so I was wondering if anyone who's been there for a wedding could tell me about the vibe? Like, do they use chair covers, or is it just those black chairs they have? If they do use covers, how does it actually look in person? (I’ll obviously be bringing in my own decor, flowers, and all that stuff), but just for a rough idea... what’s the aesthetic?
Also, does anyone know if you can grab some champagne outside near Times Square (the area by the Luxor) after the ceremony at Saint Jude? And if so, does anyone have a ballpark figure for what that kind of luxury is going to cost me?😉

I mentioned them a few pages back since they were our band... you really don't have anything to worry about with them; you can be certain their sound and performance will absolutely blow you away. 👍
They happen to have a gig coming up in New York City (Rock & Roll Academy - California Night) on March 6th, so if you're around, you might be able to catch a glimpse of them. I think I'll head out to see them again myself, just to enjoy the set and say hello. 😍

The Barbarian band out of Solon is killer. If anyone wants their number, let me know. It’s just a girl on vocals and two guys backing her up. Guaranteed good times. And they aren't even pricey. I've been to plenty of parties where they played and honestly, they're amazing. They play every genre imaginable. Total madness... As for the venue at TTS, it's a perfect spot for parties. I actually hosted my cousin's birthday there too and it was great...

The Wedding was in the USA, at the Margaret venue, photo by Click studio, flowers from Matthew, and hair and makeup at Tina !!!! 100% happy with everything 👍👍
Hit me up if you need anything!!!!
Ran into all sorts of issues while planning, so I've got plenty of experience 😉😉

Hey everyone, it’s me again... unfortunately, Bravo Band is already booked up for our date... if you wouldn't mind, could you please DM me some contact info for good bands you've actually enjoyed hiring around the Los Angeles or Orange County areas? I'm looking for fun music—and please, absolutely NO cheesy wedding cover acts... thanks!

I’m curious about that gusar situation myself—and is there any truth to the rumor that they won't take reservations on Saturday nights if the turnout is under 150 people?🤷

You can have fewer than 150 people at a party and still blow that much on payroll. It doesn't add up.👍
Honestly, I’m at a total loss. I don't even know where to start anymore.😉

Yeah, we ended up going with Friday since we’re looking at about a hundred people... I mean, it felt pretty stupid to pay for a 150-person headcount when we know only 100 are actually showing up—plus, why bother begging extra people to come just to hit a quota? It feels forced, you know? Anyway, honestly, I’m kind of relieved it’s on a Friday—it gives me more breathing room with photographers and all that gear, so there's way less frantic scrambling over bookings. And besides, everyone can actually make it work...
Regarding the setup—I really need to head out there one Saturday to check things out in person, but I’m stuck in Chicago at the moment. From what I gather, they’ve got those champagne-colored tablecloths ready to go. As for the chairs? Honestly, I think I’ll skip the covers altogether. It might actually look more sophisticated that way—you know, adding a bit of contrast? Plus, since the bar is black and that massive chandelier over the entrance is going to be dimmed, it all kind of flows together with the chair style anyway. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it? We'll see.

Hi ladies,
I know this might have been covered before, but could someone provide a list of top-tier makeup artists? I see a few names floating around here, so if you could share your favorites—and perhaps send over their contact info via DM—that would be great.
Also, regarding cakes: is there any way to actually sample them before committing, or are we all just ordering blindly from a catalog?
