I am reaching out because I could really use some help! I’m getting married next June and I’ve started the hunt for the perfect wedding band. I have heard nothing but amazing things about Vigor, Twist off, and Essek, but my biggest hurdle right now is simply figuring out how to track down their contact information.
If anyone knows of any other great bands out there, please let me know!

Which bands would you recommend for a wedding out in the Midwest? Also, if anyone happens to have some contact numbers, could you please send them my way via DM?
thanks 😘

I have one more question for you all.
I am currently on the hunt for some chair covers for an event hall.
I am looking to rent them rather than buy, so if anyone happens to know a reliable distributor in the Midwest, could you please send me a private message?
I would be so grateful!

I’m pretty sure Vigus over in Indianapolis carries chair covers... you might want to give them a shout and check there. You should be able to find their phone number and street address on www.ada.hr.

Hi there!
Does anyone happen to know where I can find some high-quality floating candles?
See, I recently picked some up that were supposed to stay lit for about three hours, but the wick burns down so fast that they just sputter out after thirty minutes! Isn't it just a complete disaster when you're trying to set a nice mood for dinner and everything goes wrong?

Maybe try visiting a local candle maker—there’s actually a great one over in downtown Chicago. Personally, I picked up mine at Target. They’re so inexpensive ($3.75 20 pack) that you might as well just grab twice as many and ask a friend to swap them out whenever they burn down. We were once told it wasn't a great idea to have candles burning while serving food because both the servers and the guests could accidentally catch fire 😲 but if memory serves me right, we always had them lit anyway.

I’ve been scrolling through all the posts here and noticed how much everyone loves certain musicians.
My partner and I just finished booking a hall over in the suburbs near the outskirts of town—it’s actually quite affordable ($2000)
for the staff and the catering.
Right now, we’re struggling to pick a band, but honestly, like most people, the hardest part is just tracking down their contact info.
If anyone could recommend a few solid bands and maybe shoot their phone numbers over to my email, I would be incredibly grateful.
We also need to hunt down a photographer, so if you know someone talented who won't break the bank, please let me know.

Thanks in advance🙏

Is anyone even out there????

Does nobody actually have the phone numbers for some of these bands?

People are always complaining about how everyone is constantly busy, but how can bands be "busy" if absolutely nobody has their contact info?

Or is it just that we don't have them??

Please help me out here.

We're actually looking at booking "Friends" from Indianapolis. If you're interested, I'll try my best to track down their number... Just let me know...

Dana Stewart3, I’ll send over those details regarding the Vigor, the twist off, and the Jocker. I was digging through some old PMs, but I accidentally deleted the one with all the numbers. I really need to track them down once I get home. Just bear with me for a tiny bit! 🙂

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a little musical backup—maybe a small folk band—to join us on a bus trip from Chicago to Los Angeles. We're thinking about 3 or 4 people total. Does anyone know someone, or maybe know a friend of a friend who knows some musicians from the Midwest? 😁 Just wondering what kind of rates we should expect be looking at?

Thanks so much, ladies!

That's awesome, Dana! Do you know which venue it's at? I'm actually hitting up a wedding this Saturday too! 😛

Well, now... as far as my knowledge of Pittsburgh goes—and I’ll be the first to admit I don't know the whole thing— 🤣)
The invitation says it's being held at the Obama Hall in Malibu, near Pittsburgh.

So, you think you're some kind of expert now? You clearly know more than I do...😘

I was literally like 15 feet from that hall on Saturday night, just for a bit though. We were hanging at Baron. Ugh, if I’d seen this post sooner we could've totally linked up. So, how was that salad?

I’ve got a wedding coming up in May 2008, and I was wondering if anyone could point me toward a great band or maybe send some recommendations my way via PM. We were really hoping to book Major League, but they're already booked up, and it turns out Vigor is unavailable too. Any leads would be much appreciated!

I actually think IBM is a fantastic band—they’ve got that great dynamic with both male and female vocals. I’m not entirely sure if they have an opening in May, though—honestly, I have my doubts—but it’s definitely worth checking out. If I recall correctly, they play on Thursdays over at Neptune.
