I’m definitely planning on getting a Sweetie too, and even though I haven't actually tasted any of those pastries yet, everyone keeps raving about them... 😁

I think I have Robert's number saved somewhere, so once I track it down, I'll send it your way... πŸ˜‰

Wait, so we're talking about the same Sweetie?

In that case, she totally nailed it! 😬

She made a solid choice.. πŸ‘
We’ve got plenty of homemade cookies, and Sweetie will probably whip up the cake.. I'm totally winging it here, but I'm sure we'll figure out the details somehow!! πŸ™‚

I've actually had their cookies before πŸ‘
and they are honestly amazing πŸ™πŸ™
I didn't get a cake from them personallyβ€”mostly because my mom was handling the cookie order while we were out of town traveling through the Statesβ€”but I ended up getting a cake later and, man, I can't even begin to tell you how good it was. We just sorted everything out locally πŸ‘Ž
Anyway, my mom ordered a cake from them for my best man's party, and let me tell you, it was stunningβ€”looked incredible on the table and tasted even better πŸ™

Honestly, I love hearing stories like that! It really feels like cake is one of those things people never forgetβ€”at least with mine, everyone’s always buzzing about the food or the desserts, even if they totally obsess over the decor and stuff 🀣)

The one that carries the suits is actually located just outside of a small town in Ohioβ€”it’s in a small town in Indiana, about 10 miles away from the main area... Since I'm from that part of the Midwest, I can head over there and check on the suit prices for you if you'd like.

Nancy Cook51, did you happen to find out what those prices are looking like?

I was originally thinking about picking up some pastries from a place in a Small Town, USA, but I have to admit, I wasn’t exactly blown away by the look of their wedding cakes. I suppose I'm looking for someone who is a genuine wizard when it comes to cake design. Thanks!

Bos makes gorgeous cakes... I actually brought in a photo once, and they recreated it perfectly for me.
So πŸ‘πŸ™ they are my top choice

Honestly, I'd probably just bake the cake myself rather than buy it from Bos!
I'm not saying it didn't look pretty or anything, but I just can't get behind the quality of Bos and his stuff again...

All five hundred of my guests have checked in and are accounted for.πŸ˜‚

We haven't been dealing with any illnesses lately... I'm honestly not sure what the current situation looks like now.β˜•

Hey there. πŸ™‚

Anyone here have any thoughts on Vinko’s photo studio over in Des Moines?

I don't want to get into a debate about Bos's stores or him personally, but their cakes and pastries really are good. I've been convinced more than once... (and if you ask me, that's due to the women making them, not him). Personally, I like that the sweets are actually well-made, unlike most store-bought stuff that's just pure sugar. I suppose tastes differ on that point, but when it comes to the actual quality of the cakes and pastries, I don't think anyone can find fault with them. People can say what they want...

My godmother used them about five years ago, and the shots were incredible at the time.
But they lacked any real artistic depth... which is what I've noticed while searching on my own lately (I found 😍 )

I can't be of much use to you... just go and see for yourself.

David Ramos25, any chance you could tell me who you ended up hiring? I’m actually on the hunt for a photographer right now...🀣

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pricing are we talking about here? πŸ™‚

Maya and Helen are $1500 (just posing). Honestly, I think they’re worth every single penny πŸ™‚

I've tried them too, and they were fine until I found out how they actually operate. Now that I know what kind of stuff they're putting in there, I probably wouldn't eat them again..
Same goes for Figaro, which is super hyped up in Indianapolis, but it's total garbage. They actually served old, frozen pastries at a recent wedding, and once they got to the venue, people noticed they were starting to mold, so they ended up not even putting them out on the tables!
So yeah, a reputation doesn't always mean quality! And I'm not complaining about Boss just because he's the boss. As for his quality, the fact that he's slowly closing down his shops speaks for itself.
That's just my two cents!

Well, you probably haven't because they actually just rebrandedβ€”it's all new under the Figaro name now! It's right across from the Budweiser hotel. Or was it Art? I think it was something like that, maybe?
They're pretty well known around town too, especially if you're looking for some Devil's Food Cake!
