I’m pretty sure the wedding catering is handled by Nutrition and Fratelli. Corolla also does some really lovely platters if you just need something beautiful to put out, though I don't think they handle specialized table decor. We actually used them for our event and were incredibly happy with everything. If you're looking for something simpler, you can always grab platters at places like Whole Foods or Kroger.

Hey, just another girl from the Midwest here! My advice for a salon? Definitely go with Lisa. I snagged my dress there

Greetings from the Midwest!
Does anyone happen to know of a good flower nursery around here??
The one I was planning to visit just shut its doors (what a disaster!), and since my mom and I are hoping to decorate our lounge ourselves, we're feeling a bit lost!
Can anyone help me out...

I only know this one greenhouse nursery in a small town in the Midwest. It's on the road between a small town in the Midwest and another small town in the Midwest. You can grab some high-end roses there—the ones with shorter stems—which would be perfect for decorating a venue.

Try the garden center near Unicum.
Or Garden Center South.
Located in St. Louis, obviously. 😍
If you want the specifics, shoot me a DM. 😉

Hey ladies, quick favor—can anyone recommend a solid photographer in St. Louis? I'm looking for someone talented who won't absolutely fleece me with their prices 🙏

Thanks so much, everyone! I’m already aware of those locations over in St. Louis, so I'll definitely head out to check them out, though I did hear that the specific one in that small town in the Midwest just closed its doors—but I'll be sure to double-check that myself!

I actually know a family-run business out in Indianapolis that specializes in growing flowers... honestly, you wouldn't believe the variety they have. If you're interested in what they offer, shoot me a DM so I don't look like I'm just running an ad. 😉🙂🙂

Gregory Kelly2 / Wedding DJ

We operate as a two-person DJ team—it’s a setup that honestly works much better than the solo act. One of us stays glued to the mic to handle all the announcements and keep the crowd hyped, while the other can actually focus on the decks and the music without being constantly interrupted. This approach has been a massive hit with couples lately. Plus, since we have one veteran DJ and one younger guy on the team, our playlist covers just about everything—there’s something for everyone regardless of their age.

We cover the entire US and work alongside Igor Košćec

Shoot me a PM for more info

Hey everyone, does anyone happen to know what the typical per-person rates are looking like lately for wedding banquet halls over in Indianapolis? I'm trying to get a sense of what's actually included in those packages. Specifically, if anyone has been to a wedding at Zelenkrov recently, I’d love to hear your honest take on the experience! Also, what kind of pricing are we talking about if I were to bring in my own catering and just pay them to prep everything? Is that even worth the headache, or am I just asking for trouble?

Right, and while we're on the subject, what's the damage looking like at local florists for bouquets and table arrangements? Which shops can I actually trust to show up on time? Honestly, I feel like I'm going to have a breakdown!

Samuel Gomez312, Krishna and I just had dinner over in Zelenkrov. Honestly, you should probably start sketching out a rough budget for how much your Wedding is actually going to cost.
For us, we did two courses—the first one was beef brisket, followed by a hearty stew—plus all the non-alcoholic drinks, a welcome cocktail, and some champagne for the newlyweds and the wedding party. For 90 guests, it ended up being a little over $7.25.
I think there might be an option where you just rent the venue and bring in your own catering, but I can't really speak to that side of things with much authority.
The food was fantastic, though; our guests were genuinely impressed.
Don't stress yourself out too much about it. You'll get everything sorted in the end.
As for flowers, we actually bought ours from this lovely lady at the local farmers market—she was super creative, very affordable, and we couldn't have been happier. I've also noticed that shops like Fantasia, Mosaic, and Alstromeria do beautiful work, as does Palm Florals over in Indianapolis.

Have you checked out the Fuderer nursery over in Valpovo or Belišće yet??

The place in Indianapolis is actually pretty great, aside from the palm trees and Stella. The lady who works there is awesome—she’s got some really cool ideas and her prices aren't crazy high at all. She did everything for my cousin, and she’ll be doing the same for me next year...👍

Does anyone happen to know where I can rent one of those white event tents—you know, those little domes people set up in their yards? Nothing massive, maybe around 15 feet long. I just need a spot to set up a buffet spread for when everyone arrives at my place to pick me up...
What’s the damage like for a rental?
Also, do these companies handle the actual setup, and do the tents come with some kind of flooring—like a carpet or something—or are you just setting them right on the grass?
If anyone has the inside scoop, you’d be doing me a huge favor!

I suspect you might find something similar at places like Whole Foods or Vigus.

We actually rented a tent just like that one from Vigus! You should really try giving them a call or dropping by, because they only have four of them in stock, so you might want to hurry! It measures about 5x7 meters, and we paid $367 for it.
The tent is absolutely stunning, all white with those beautiful domes on top!

Quick question for the group—has anyone here ever brought their own food to the venue? I’m talking about the whole setup where you drop off the ingredients and have the catering staff prep, cook, or grill everything for you. If you’ve pulled this off, could you give me a rough idea of what the total damage was and how many guests you were feeding? Please, I’m desperate!
I'm just trying to figure out if this is actually a smart move or if it's even worth the hassle!

Thanks, guys!
So I actually swung by the Vigus shop over at VK today, and get this—they’re renting out that 5x7 for $233 plus $1.00 per mile since they handle all the assembly themselves.

I’m not sure if it’s actually worth the cost for you, though I suppose it really depends on which venue you book. When we held our wedding out in Sedona at that small town in rural America, it ended up costing us almost $40 per person, including the first two courses and their drinks. But honestly, people didn't really start partying until later in the night, so they were basically advertising themselves. Plus, since the owners run their own Farmers Market, you can usually negotiate a bit of a discount on the food prices.🙂
