At least try showing some consideration for those who aren't even going to dance, but will be stuck sitting at the table for most, if not all, of the evening.

Yeah... I have a feeling that’s exactly how it’ll play out.☕

My sister is getting married in a mid-sized US city and she’s hunting for about 50 chair covers. Does anyone know someone nearby who rents them out?

Maybe try reaching out to them just to see—they might actually be interested in renting it. Just a thought!

Honestly, this is the first I've ever heard about them doing makeup there! 😉

They offer manicures, pedicures, and full makeup services as part of their wellness package. I guess since we're having the wedding guests there, I might get my makeup done for free.
I definitely plan on doing a trial run, but I was wondering if anyone here has actually been there? Does anyone know if their makeup artists are any good?

Their selection looks amazing👍 and honestly, I'm dying to hear what people's actual experiences have been.

Since people keep asking the same damn questions without bothering to scroll back through previous pages, I’ve put all my recommendations in one spot. Hopefully, this saves everyone some time. 😉 You can find all of them on Facebook. 🙂

makeup
Ana Coric Atelier
Antonia make makeup corner.
Helena Valentina rosa needs some makeup.
Valentina Roso
Jelena Tufekovic makeup.
Chic Makeup Studio is just okay. Honestly, they’ve started using the same tired look for everyone. 🙄 I wouldn't even want them to pay me if they tried, especially when dealing with Victoria Petrovic. 🤣

Maja Peric and Jelena Rasic—they always deliver.
Process Photo Studio – honestly, their ideas and shots are just too good.
BeckStudio Agency—top-tier photos and video. Definitely recommend working with them.

Zooming in on photos and videos.
Igor Milicic — killer photos and great ideas.
Marin Franov - different, off the rails.

I know a girl who used them for her wedding hair and makeup. She looked incredible—nothing over-the-top, just a clean look that actually photographed well. 🙂

Jason Miller4 said:I have a quick question—and please, tell me if I’m just overthinking this one, because I’d rather be certain than accidentally cause a scene. Is there some sort of unwritten rule where the younger crowd is expected to circulate through the reception, moving from table to table to personally greet the wedding party? I’ve noticed it happening more than once. It feels as though some guests might actually take offense if you don't make that formal effort to acknowledge them directly. I really wouldn't want anyone feeling slighted just because I wasn't aware of the etiquette.

We went to visit our guests after dinner just because we felt like it. We wanted to say our goodbyes properly and give them some actual attention, and they really appreciated the gesture. We had 150 people over, so honestly, it wasn't even a hassle. 😉

Honestly, I don't see newlyweds doing the whole table-hopping thing all the time—it’s rare, right? But I made sure to hit up my side of the room just because I hadn't seen my family in forever and wanted to say a quick hi. My husband thought it was kind of pointless—whatever—so I just zipped from table to table myself, checked if everyone was good, and then went right back to partying 🙂

Thanks for the info. First one I've seen, and it's already positive. I guess that's a good sign. 🙂
I guess I don't have much choice left. I'll just go ahead and book a session at Chic Makeup Studio for the next wedding I'm attending, just so I can see how they work firsthand. I was thinking about doing a trial run before my bachelorette party, too... I really don't want to deal with any awkward surprises a week before the big day. 🤣

Hey girls! I've been scrolling through the recent posts, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere... how far in advance should I actually book a live band for a wedding reception?
And am I totally losing my mind if I want to go flower shopping more than a year ahead of time? 🙂 I really don't want to get too ahead of myself, you know? 🙂 Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, nothing beats the baked goods from that small town in the Midwest—they’re easily my favorite, so I'm grabbing those.🙂

Man, if you want the good stuff, just grab some treats from a small town in the Midwest—definitely the best you'll ever have.🙂

In our neck of the woods—around the outskirts of Indianapolis—Sweetie definitely holds the crown, mostly because they have storefronts out in Russia and Des Moines, so I assume it’s just down to convenience...
I’ve treated myself to their cakes quite a few times (to be honest, I can't recall much about their pastries, if I even tried) and every single time they were absolutely spot on, no misses at all...
So, I’ll be sticking with them too, though I'm just looking to grab a cake... 🙂

Sage... it's actually way more affordable than what you'd find at Grandma's Creek...

We’re going to be feasting on cakes and pastries straight from that Sweet fairy tale White Monastery!
Ahem, but enough about my plans—where did the rest of you end up ordering your treats from??

From the Sweet fairy tale too 🙂 But we haven't tried them yet 😉 It's something we're looking forward to.
Maybe some of you have tried them?? How are they??

Well, we actually went to see them in person. We set up a tasting session and they gave us a bunch of pastries—completely FREE—just to sample. And honestly? They were absolutely delicious. They had that wonderful, genuine homemade feel where you can actually taste the unique ingredients in every single piece; they didn't all just blend together into one sugary mass. Plus, the woman running things was so easy to work with regarding the arrangements. I'm just so relieved and happy that we got everything sorted out so smoothly!!

We also scheduled a tasting, though it isn't until May. Yeah, she really is incredibly kind. Thanks! 🙂
