Timothy Wood38 said:Yeah, and the absolute worst part is when people start noticing you've slowed down—that vacant, hollow stare. After what I went through with Zyprexa and Prozac, I'm strictly avoiding antipsychotics. Even at my last checkup, my doctor suggested swapping out my anxiety meds for 25 mg of Seroquel. Yeah... no thanks.

Honestly, it sounds awful...🙂 🙂I have zero interest in taking that stuff, so I don't need it. Even if I actually did need it, I still wouldn't touch it.😲

Now that my system is pretty much used to Adderall, I’ll take it before I sit down to study—especially if I've had one of those frantic days where everything just throws me off. It makes focusing way easier.

It honestly pains me to see how poorly Zoloft affects some of you—if it’s hitting you that hard, please either find an alternative or at least talk it over with a therapist.

Personally, I think Q-pin is the absolute best.

As for me, I don't even need it. Honestly, I have no idea why I let anyone talk me into trying this in the first place... I still feel completely trashed. I have zero motivation, I'm depressed, and I'm exhausted...🙂
I can't wait for this feeling to wear off.🙂 🙂 🙂

I spent two years on unknown, and more recently, I’ve been alternating between that and Q-pin.
Both have worked wonders for me. While I dealt with some initial sluggishness and drowsiness
during the early stages of treatment, once my body adjusted, I found myself completely clear-headed on the Associated Press, without any lingering mental fog whatsoever.

I found that 50 mg of sulpiride actually hit the mark for me, but there’s a catch—I have this deep-seated dread regarding these kinds of medications. I ended up cycling through it for maybe fifteen days before the anxiety and the sheer frustration of the whole situation just took over.

The Associated Press says they slow down your metabolism and digestion. I ditched the unknown because I hadn't been to the bathroom in six days after stopping. And don't even get me started on Seroquel—it felt like someone smacked me upside the head and then handed me some Xanax on top of it.🙂
Mirzaten doesn't do much for my sleep, but it helps with the anxiety. It also helped me kick my painkiller habit and stopped those daily headaches, so I'm sticking with it.

Jason Vaughn482, I’m genuinely curious about this whole fear thing regarding meds. Like, how does that actually play out for you? What goes through your head when you see a pill sitting there, or when you realize you actually need to take it? Are you worried it’s gonna mess with your brain or wreck your body? Or maybe you're just stressed about people judging you for taking something? Did you have some kind of bad experience in the past? What happened?

Personally, I’ve never really dealt with that anxiety. I never sat around obsessively researching side effects or anything; if my doctors prescribed something, I just took it without a second thought, assuming they actually knew what they were doing. I don't spend any time worrying about it damaging an organ—you know, like how everyone loves to bring up liver damage all the time...

I’ve mostly just always wondered why things work the way they do. Like, if I take an Advil for a headache and the pain goes away, why doesn't it just fix every single ache in my body at once? 😁:

It's because I'm a hypochondriac and I live in constant fear of illness. If I read a warning that a drug might cause a stroke or liver damage, I spiral. It all started three years ago when I discovered I had an elevated tumor marker in my blood. Since then, I've been stuck in a cycle of getting blood work done every six months and going in for ultrasounds. I'm constantly anxious; for example, my liver is right on the edge of being considered enlarged, and my doctor suggested it could be a reaction to medications... besides, we all know the reputation of Big Pharma. There is so much written about their practices, so what can I really do?🙂

That’s interesting; for me, Mirzaten works wonders for sleep, but when it comes to anxiety, I don't feel much of an effect at all. Are you taking the 15 mg dose? And what else are you running alongside it?

5mg Zodac, plus 25mg Xanax. Sometimes at night. I take a quarter of an Albonil in the morning too, though I'm phasing it out since it doesn't do much. My stomach handles the Mirzaten and Xanax just fine.

I’ve been feeling that mental fog lately too, almost like my brain is running on low battery. It takes me much longer to tap into my creative side, which is tough since my job requires me to stay sharp and ready to react at a moment's notice. I’m dealing with some minor setbacks, but if this is the trade-off for maintaining my stability, I can handle it. There are much bigger struggles out there in the world; I’m facing this, while others are fighting battles like cancer. At the end of the day, life isn't fair—we can't all live long, happy lives and pass away peacefully at ninety.

Wait, how does that work? You just swallow 25 pills at once?😕 Or maybe there's something even stronger out there?🤣

Same here. I'm actually looking into how this works—I read somewhere that 8 is supposed to be the upper limit. 😬

So, I'm back in school (not a kid, I'm 27), and honestly, I struggle to even follow the lectures sometimes because my valium kills my concentration... but the way Seroquel made me feel so stupid was just terrifying. I couldn't find the right words for things. Like, I'd stare at the fridge and completely blank on what the thing inside was called or even how to say it. It was awful. And then, predictably, once that passed, the low-grade depression and anxiety started creeping in... man, what a mess.🙂🙂🙂🙂
