Zvonx, good luck—sending some good vibes your way🎉

I knocked back my little dose of Mirzaten and slept for 15 hours straight. Finally feeling like a functional human being again🙂

It is perfectly normal that you’re struggling to sleep while navigating this new situation, and there is nothing wrong with using Miller to help you get some rest. Once you eventually settle into this new routine, you will find you can sleep just fine without it. 🙂

I have a hospital appointment scheduled for this Sunday, which includes anesthesia. 😢 The doctor told me I could take whatever I need, morning or afternoon—whether it’s Normabel or Xanax—and then they'll provide Dormicum tonight to help me sleep. Hopefully, I'll actually be able to drift off. 😢
Another morning, and half the dormitory is already awake before my surgery. Honestly, I’m starting to wonder how I’m going to handle all of this hitting me at once.

Everything is going to be just fine! Good luck, Zvonx!!!!🙂🙂🙂

I went through something almost identical to you. I was on Fluval 20 mg every single day for over a year. Honestly, I didn't even graduate until I finally got off it, and then just two months later, I landed a job. At first, everything was golden, but once my manager gave me a raise because she loved my work right out of the gate, some jealous coworkers started playing dirty. I spiraled again and ended up back on Fluval. If I hadn't, who knows? I probably would've lashed out at someone or done something stupid to myself 🙂

I know Fluval is one thing and your Mirzaten is another, but if you're only taking 1/6 of a pill, that seems like such a tiny dose... honestly, is it even worth the struggle?

I really think you’ll crush it at this new job, make some actual friends, and eventually reach a point where you don't even need that 1/6 anymore.

Sending kisses, hang in there 🎉

I feel absolutely terrible. Like I’m not even really here. Just sitting here, staring off into space, lost in my own head. Honestly, I'm just done with fighting myself constantly. Part of me just wants to crawl back under the covers and cry, but then there's this mountain of stuff I actually need to get done.
Yesterday, I finished off the rest of my Prozac, and man, it was rough. I managed maybe two hours of solid sleep, and everything else after that was just these pathetic thirty-minute naps where I'd wake up every single hour.
I'm exhausted. My brain won't shut up—just running a million different scenarios on loop, overanalyzing every little thing from a million different angles.
How did things get this bad?
Why am I doing this to myself?

I totally hear you. I went through the exact same thing, honestly way worse than what you're dealing with right now. I was on Fevarin and it did absolutely nothing for me. My shrinkica kept insisting I give it more time, saying it was the perfect fit for my issues. I wasted nine whole months suffering like that before she finally pulled the plug on the Fevarin and switched me over to Cirpalex. If you need to vent, hit me up in the DMs. Hang in there!

Nope. It doesn't actually fit into any of those standard categories. Mirzaten is what you'd call an atypical antidepressant.😉

I'm basically a walking zombie... Still throwing up, and these panic attacks are hitting harder every single day. To top it all off, I caught a nasty cold too. Honestly, I'm terrified. I'm scared I'm actually losing my mind, that I'll spiral during labor, or that I'll end up doing something crazy to my baby. I'm spiraling, thinking they'll lock me up in some mental asylum because I won't even recognize myself or know what I'm doing anymore. It’s just... it's nightmare fuel. I'm fighting so hard, but man, it is brutal.

Man, I am so sorry you're going through this. I know it probably feels impossible to believe right now, but things really will get better—you just have to white-knuckle it through this part, and honestly, that's the absolute worst stretch. Are you seeing a therapist or anything? Getting some professional help could really make a difference in helping you navigate this mess.

Every single day I find myself hoping things will turn around and I won't need meds anymore, but man... it is SO hard.

I'm seeing a psychiatrist, but since it's through my insurance, it's basically just a glorified check-in. No real talking involved. I tell her how I'm feeling, she gives me some bullet points of "professional advice," and we're done. It's pretty useless. I even tried seeing her privately before, but honestly? I still walked away feeling like she just didn't get me at all...

Yeah, honestly? It’s huge. You really need a psychiatrist who actually listens and gives you the support you need to make it through a pregnancy. I had someone like that, and it made a massive difference for me.
Look, if it helps at all, I know exactly where you're coming from because I've been right there in the trenches myself. I pulled through, I beat it, and I ended up having a healthy little girl. I’ve already shared most of this, but seriously, stay strong, keep fighting, and don't back down. The panic attacks and the depression—they’ll eventually cave under your strength. You aren't alone anymore; there's two of you now, which means you're way stronger than this crap. Your baby is going to be your anchor; you'll find that extra gear just by thinking about them.
And trust me, you aren't the only one who's dealt with this nightmare during pregnancy. There was another girl on here going through the exact same thing who made it out the other side. She had a healthy boy, he's doing great, and she's happy as hell now. The kid is already two and a half.
So, bottom line: you can do this. You've got this inside you, so please, don't lose hope!🙂

Has anyone here dealt with the fallout of suddenly stopping antipsychotics? I’m currently taking them alongside an antidepressant, and I’ve been thinking about experimenting with my dosage—mostly because things have felt pretty dark lately, and the suicidal ideation is becoming hard to ignore.

Wait, which antipsychotic are we talking about here?

So, I finally got off the phone with my psychiatrist. First move? He’s sending me to see a clinical pharmacologist to figure out exactly how much Zoloft and Cipralex will mess with things during pregnancy.

And if things stay this absolutely miserable after the baby arrives, he’s looking at adding Zyprexa to the Cipralex mix.

Has anyone actually dealt with that combo before? Any takers?

I accidentally popped two Cipralex pills instead of just one earlier today. Is anyone else worried about what might happen to me?

In my experience, I once mistakenly took three at once, and the only thing I had to show for it was a nagging headache.
Don't let it get to you; you'll be fine. 😁
