121-130 🥳

Honestly, this test is just stupid. It couldn't be any more brainless. As far as general culture goes, if I remember right, Americans used to use these exact kinds of "intelligence" tests on Native Americans and immigrants just to try and prove white supremacy. 🙄

Joshua Jones13, a cantaloupe has always been a fruit—it's part of the gourd family.

🤣 An apricot is definitely a fruit, there's no way it's a vegetable. And tomatoes? They're vegetables.
But for me, the real struggle is those questions using words I don't even recognize! 🤣
btw I had 110-120

I guess I don't even get these categories anymore. Some people are convinced a tomato is a fruit. Personally, I don't really see it that way, but who am I to judge? 😁

The argument is usually that tomatoes are fruits because they have seeds... Honestly, I stopped consulting the Tree of Knowledge a long time ago.

I watched it, and honestly, the test was pretty stupid. As far as I'm concerned, an intelligence test should be designed so anyone can take it, whether they're from New York, Chicago, or even Amsterdam. Plus, those general knowledge questions were totally unnecessary—they don't really belong in an IQ test (correct me if I'm wrong on that one). The rest of the test was insanely easy, with zero challenge or actual thought required, not to mention that ridiculous time limit on the math section!

Pumpkins have seeds too. 😳

Watermelons do too. Though, I’m fairly certain a pumpkin isn't technically a vegetable?
Besides, while we're on the subject of pumpkins, what was that old saying... you know, the one about sowing pumpkins for the devil... I can never quite remember how it ends...

Even a cucumber has seeds, yet we still classify it as a vegetable. I'm struggling to follow the logic behind this "seed scheme" you all are proposing.

Squash is just a vegetable. Same goes for watermelon and cantaloupe. "He who plants pumpkins with the devil, breaks his head against them." Total 😬
nonsense.

Don't tempt me. I actually work with devils quite often. 😈 Here is another one for you: The devil poses as a lowly slug just to eventually seize control. Think about that. 😈 And I already mentioned that I don't know anything about this—I'm just talking nonsense while you all turn a molehill into a mountain...😳

Gregory Smith8 said:What does a bunch of puzzles have to do with intelligence? It’s more about perception, isn't it?..

I think you're onto something there...
...my IQ was always sitting just a hair above a hundred...
...which basically means my general knowledge is pretty much bottom-of-the-barrel...
...and since my internet connection here is basically dial-up speed, waiting for these damn puzzle images to load takes a good minute or two anyway.
All things considered... it's just nonsense. A total waste of time.

121-130.

I know what Wok Thai 🙄
is about. It’s a beast. I definitely saw more during my actual exam, and those puzzles are actually brilliant. Take the Venice skyline, for instance—you get a puzzle with four distinct protrusions, while they offer three options with just one or two bumps and then one with all four 🤣🤣🤣

Total garbage 🤮

cp.tar said:Man, why bother doing mental gymnastics when you can just look at the notches and grooves to toss out two or even three of the four options immediately?

That test is total nonsense.

That’s just your shortcut to finish faster. Honestly, spinning those puzzles around in your head when you could just eliminate half the answers by sight isn't exactly high-level intelligence.

Your IQ score falls somewhere between 110 and 120. Thank you for participating in the ABC News Grand Intelligence Challenge. We hope you found the experience thoroughly engaging!

Please, the test was obviously designed for the low IQ of our local
celebrities 😬

I basically went out of my way to get every single answer wrong, and somehow ended up with an IQ somewhere between 89 and 100.
If you actually mess up everything that badly, you should probably be flagged as having a cognitive impairment and an IQ under 70.

This test is a total scam and completely useless!

I nailed everything and landed between 120 and 130. These tests are a joke, they swing by like 40 points either way.😁

So, honestly, which one of our homegrown "celebrities" actually made it big?
