Ksenia said:Well, I went to see my OB-GYN. She mentioned I was a bit early for a full checkup, but she went ahead with a vaginal ultrasound and, sure enough, I am pregnant. 🙂
I have to head back in two or three weeks to get my official prenatal records started.

I told my parents, and honestly, they took it incredibly well. They couldn't stop smiling; they even said they are old enough to finally be grandparents and that they support whatever the two of us decide. Then, naturally, they toasted the news with a glass of bourbon. 😁 😬
Granted, my mother was acting a bit solemn—probably sad—for the rest of the day. I suppose it’s just hitting her that I won't be living under their roof for much longer.

Our friends are thrilled; my girlfriends are already demanding every single detail about the pregnancy. The only downside is that I accidentally overshadowed one of my best friends' big announcement—she’s getting married on June 8th, which is right around when I'll be due.

All in all, I feel wonderful and hope this feeling lasts.

Oh, I am just so happy for you all!!! 😍 🙂 😘
It makes sense that Mom is feeling sentimental; she's realizing her little girl is all grown up. That's just how parents are. But just wait until that grandbaby arrives—it’ll make her feel twenty years younger. 😁
Ugh, I’m actually tearing up. 😍
A little boy or a little girl? Just like MM. 😍

Go on then, set up your pregnancy tracker and join the Women's March group! 😘

What about the Coalition and Bee? Have they given birth yet?

Well, the Coalition went in for an amniocentesis yesterday, so perhaps she actually delivered.🤔
And hasn't Bee already pushed back her appointment?
They'll resurface once they're home and recovered from the newborn chaos.😍

Seriously, they've been gone for two whole days now—I'm dying to have them back so we can finally hear all those first moments with the little ones 😍

Well, our little busy bee finally checked in, but still no news.

Ksenia, 👋
Honestly, you just don't belong in this conversation anymore. No more posts for you on the Women's March forums. 😁
Wait, hold on—what is this? Another new thread just popped up...

It would be wild if we actually went into labor on the same day. Though—let’s be real—there is zero chance we're ending up at the same hospital. I'm not from Chicago...
You're based in Chicago, right?😬

I just realized you never replied to my message—the one where I told you I was planning to deliver in Chicago but offered my cell number so we could commiserate through the contractions.

Anyway, on my latest ultrasound this past Wednesday, they pushed my due date back another two weeks—so now, once again, I have absolutely no idea when this is happening.

magic, I've been sitting here overthinking everything, and there’s just no way we'd have the same due date since you're actually two weeks further along than I am!🤣
So, I guess you'll be having your baby two weeks before me. Plus, I'm nowhere near you—I'm all the way out in a small town in Ohio rather than being in a big city like Chicago.😘

So, you'll be delivering two weeks ahead of me. Plus, I'm nowhere near New York City (Des Moines) anyway.😘

I know, but at my last ultrasound, the doctor said based on the baby's size, we should be looking at a date two weeks later—and now they've gone and reset us back to square one again.

cosmiccyclist412 said:I used to deal with PCOS, but my doctor eventually told me it was fine and that I’d basically outgrown it. Though, honestly, I have no clue how that happened.

My blood pressure isn't low, and I don't have anemia. There's definitely stress involved, and it's logical to blame the fall season, though this stretch of weather feels like it's lasting forever.

Regarding the condom breakage—I've already had two periods since then and tested twice. The last test was two weeks ago, right after my period ended.

Personally, I don't think you're pregnant, but there's a whole laundry list of things that could cause what you're describing. It could just be seasonal fatigue, chronic sleep deprivation, or stress. Scurvy is a long shot unless you were taking massive doses of something and suddenly stopped.
Beyond just getting blood work done, it would be wise to visit your primary care physician to rule out anemia and lay out all these symptoms—the weight gain, the exhaustion, the bleeding gums... the works. Let us know what the results look like.

Unless you were taking massive doses (like a gram or more) for a long time and suddenly stopped, then maybe.
Beyond seeing an OB-GYN, it would be wise to visit your primary care doctor to check for anemia and lay out all your symptoms (the fatigue, weight gain, easy exhaustion, bleeding gums...). Let us know how the results turn out.

I took another test today, and honestly, I'm panicking. I can't wait until Monday to see my doctor—it was negative again. Though, I did drink a lot of water beforehand, so I worry I might have diluted my urine too much.

On the other hand, I've felt nauseous all day, though I can't tell if it's real or just in my head. My stomach is incredibly bloated, and walking actually hurts—sometimes it's right where my ovaries are, especially on the right side, and other times it's in the middle, below the belly button. I also have some white discharge. Walking wears me out completely; once I stop, I can barely catch my breath. I live on the second floor, and even climbing the stairs is a struggle! My stomach seems to be taking on a slight round shape, though that's hard to judge since I've never been particularly thin. My head is pounding too, but usually, an Advil takes care of that.

Massive doses of what? I was taking Vitamin B capsules all summer, but this started in mid-September, right around when my college coursework became super stressful. Since then, I've put on a few pounds (I haven't used the scale, but I can tell by my clothes), and I feel terrible—sluggish and just wanting to be alone. Ever since my gums started bleeding (I highly doubt I have anything serious like scurvy, especially since I've always had perfect teeth and take great care of them) and the abdominal pains started, I've been leaning toward pregnancy because everything else seems linked (like my breasts feeling larger, though they've always been on the bigger side). My periods are usually regular, but my last one was strange—thick, dark brown, almost like cream, but that was only on the first day.

I am totally confused. This is all I can think about. I really hope I'm not pregnant; I could deal with anything else, but if I am, I just hope it isn't long-term.

Look, at first I thought you were just messing with us—but if you’re actually dealing with all those symptoms (the nausea, the cramps, that weird discharge...), I’d be praying it *is* a pregnancy and not something else. Because honestly? What else you're describing doesn't sound good at all.😢

Honestly, she’s just overthinking the whole thing. Stop running tests—you aren't pregnant! Your period is just late, plain and simple. You’ll have your answer by Monday anyway. Just try to relax, okay? For all we know, you could just have some kind of minor infection down there.

Honestly, I feel pretty bad about messing with you earlier. 😘

Just try to take a deep breath and stay calm, because spiraling like this isn't helping anyone.
You’ll have your answers on Monday, but if you're asking me, I highly doubt it's a pregnancy—this looks more like a standard infection.
Anyway, I'm pulling for you. Please let me know what the doctor says.🙂

Since then, I've put on a few pounds (haven't weighed myself, but I can tell by how my clothes fit), and I just feel terrible—sluggish, wanting to be alone, just generally not okay. Ever since my gums started bleeding (I seriously doubt it's some major illness, definitely not scurvy, because my teeth have always been perfect and I take such good care of them) and these stomach cramps started, I've been suspecting pregnancy because I've connected everything else to it (like my breasts growing—they've always been big, but now they feel even bigger). Sure, my periods are usually regular, but last time, the bleeding was weird—thick, chocolatey stuff, almost like cream, but that was only on the first day.

I am completely losing it, thinking about nothing else. I just hope I'm not pregnant; everything else would be manageable, but if I am... man, I just hope it's not for long.

You are definitely not pregnant; it doesn't matter if your urine was diluted or whatever, that's nonsense.

What's happening to you (since I'm assuming you're a student) is just total physical burnout after finals week.

The discharge, the bleeding gums, and all that is just what happens when your immune system hits rock bottom. It's stress and crappy eating habits.

The breast swelling and ovary pains? That's just PMS, but because of the stress, your period is running late (doesn't matter if it used to be regular before).

One time, because of college stress, my period showed up twice in just 15 days.

Don't sweat it. You honestly can't imagine how much you can obsess over your period 😉 especially when you're dealing with a massive amount of stress...

I felt some nausea yesterday, though I didn't actually throw up—it was just that intense urge to gag.

My period isn't even late, and I already had one earlier this month; my cycle has been all over the place lately, since it shifted from September 4th to coming again on the 30th. My PMS symptoms started right before that period, but the discomfort didn't let up once it ended. The weirdest part is the abdominal pain; it’s so sharp that lying on my stomach is impossible, and it feels like I can't even take a full breath. On top of that, my gums have been bleeding constantly. Even though I'm treating them, they seem to be getting more painful and inflamed every single day. Granted, college stress kicked in right after my period finished, but it feels strange that it would hit me this hard. I've always been pretty laid back and don't get worked up easily—honestly, even the idea of a pregnancy wouldn't rattle me much—but I'm still hoping that isn't the case, as it's the last thing I need right now.

Magic blue! said:Look, at first I honestly thought you were just pulling my leg—I mean, really!—but if you’re actually dealing with all those symptoms like the nausea, the cramping, and that weird discharge... man, if I were in your shoes, I would be praying to the heavens that it’s just a pregnancy and nothing else. Because, let's be real, everything else sounds pretty unpleasant! 😢

Exactly! Honestly, I couldn't agree more—you hit the nail right on the head there.
Honestly, it just doesn't sound like pregnancy to me!
I don’t know about you guys, but my gut is screaming that this feels like a ruptured ovarian cyst—or maybe endometriosis... or honestly, something even scarier than that.
Honestly, if I were you, I’d just skip all the waiting around and head straight to the ER right now! Seriously—just tell them you're having intense ovarian pain and they'll get you an ultrasound in no time. It might be worth the hassle just to get some answers!
I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty positive there’s an urgent care gynecological clinic over at New York City!
If you aren't from New York City, then I honestly can't say—but if you ask me, there’s definitely something going on!

Look, I totally get why you're feeling overwhelmed—all those symptoms you listed definitely point toward pregnancy, but they almost never hit you all at once like that! It’s usually more of a rollout. Like, in the first trimester, you're mostly dealing with that constant nausea and some breast tenderness—it's a total rollercoaster. Then, by the second trimester, you're suddenly struggling to even sleep on your stomach! And once you hit the third? Everything changes again—you're dealing with aches and pains and feeling like you can't even catch your breath properly. It’s a wild ride, for sure!

True, though theoretically it could happen around April, since there was an incident at the start of July...
