Good grief, what absolute nonsense!! What kind of gin is that even supposed to be?
My first one arrived when I was 8 (unbelievably!!!) and it dragged on for about 8 to 10 days—plus, the pain was constant until I finally started on the pill.
I have to admit, though—ever since I "got rid" of them (the pill, I mean, because I'm planning for a pregnancy—hopefully someday😁)—the cycle lasts a shorter amount of time and the cramps aren't nearly as brutal.

I honestly feel like you can really dial back on the tablets if you need to... it’s totally fine. There's really no reason to stress out about it...

Sometimes you might not even get it—I've been there myself.
But you can always buy a test and finally settle at least one dilemma in your life.

Yasmin should try to take it at roughly the same time every day.

It might be nothing, really. They could just be lost in the woods or something. Honestly, the best move is probably just to grab a pregnancy test.☕

To be fair, being late with a pill isn't the only factor when it comes to pregnancy; there are other things you have to consider first😁 but since you aren't going into detail about those, there's no need to worry too much right now.😬

Bunny, I changed the title, don't go hating on me.

I went with those big, bold letters—it'll grab some people's attention while making others stay far away, if you catch my drift.

Now it’s crystal clear what the deal is, so you'll probably get the help you need way faster.

I actually forgot to grab a drink myself, so I didn't miss out on anything either.

Skattemus said:Peace. I’ve been on them for four years now... honestly, there have been times I forgot to take them for over 12 hours and still nothing happened.
My period used to be late by three days quite often, regardless of whether I missed a pill or not, and then I'd just deal with some minor spotting. Did you experience any extra stress this month, or maybe even a change in the weather?

I was on birth control for seven years and I missed my window by 20 hours—sometimes even more—and I was totally fine.
Though, there is always that slim chance that conception actually occurred... who knows.
As many women on these forums suggest: just go buy a pregnancy test.😬

Here we go again... 🙂
Seriously, what is actually going on with this younger generation?
Are we all just supposed to hold their hands and personally escort them to the retirement home?

Since Magic decided to quote me—just so I don't sound like a broken record, I'll let Edward Green 😘 take over:

I had a feeling there would be some backlash 😬
I’ve been using Logest for five years now—and look, I once actually forgot a dose (yeah, I know, total brain fart, but still...)—and honestly, you might as well just take the test. It beats sitting there stressing out over it.
Though, if you ask me, the odds of that actually happening are probably one in a million.

m@mm@ said:Back when I was dealing with PCOS, I went through all sorts of tests. Everything always came back fine, including my thyroid levels. I think one marker was slightly elevated, but I can't recall exactly which one.

Generally speaking, my medical reports are always spotless. When I go in for blood work or routine screenings, doctors tell me they’ve never seen better numbers, yet nobody ever bothers to explain why I actually feel terrible. For instance, my dentist told me yesterday that she couldn't possibly be the cause of my issues—that it's "just stress." (Just another reason why I've never had much patience for those community clinic dentists.)

As for the fatigue, things have improved there too. Honestly, ever since he confirmed I wasn't pregnant, I've felt a hundred times better. Maybe it was just constant panic, or perhaps the pressure from my university coursework... Who knows. According to everyone else, it's all just stress.

I am genuinely glad to hear you're feeling better!

Dr. Miller says it is fine. Many others have told me the same thing. My period usually starts on day 12 and lasts about six days, sometimes stretching to seven, and they used to be painful. Women with these types of cycles often deal with PCOS and fertility struggles. That is not true for everyone, of course, but it is the general rule. This isn't just one person's opinion either. There you go.

Honestly, I started my period at twelve and it usually lasted about six days—then boom, I was pregnant on my very first try! I still can't quite wrap my head around it, and honestly, I’d never heard a single horror story about it before.

My period started when I was 12; it usually lasts about 6 days, though sometimes it stretches to 7, and the cramps used to be brutal. Generally speaking, women dealing with heavy flows like that often struggle with PCOS or fertility issues when they're trying to conceive. Not everyone, obviously, but that’s the rule of thumb. And I'm not just making this up—it's what most people say. There.

There are no universal rules here. I started my period at 11; back then, it lasted 5 or 6 days and didn't hurt at all. For the last four years, it’s been down to 3 days, but every other month the cramps drive me absolutely insane (always every other month, though). I also had PCOS, but my scans have been completely clear for the last two years. Plus, I have a retroverted uterus, and I ended up getting pregnant within just two months.

kala jj, during my first trimester, I felt those exact same lower abdominal pains—almost like a sharp, cutting sensation. It felt like it started right at conception. I was absolutely certain I was pregnant.

How long did that "stabbing" sensation last for you?
We tried for the first time this past weekend (and my ovulation window hit right then 😬) and I had that same "stabbing" and "cutting" feeling all through the weekend, just like you described. It's passed now... 🙄
Usually, I'm exhausted all the time... but since that weekend, I've been surprisingly energetic 😬 🙄 Does that mean it didn't take?
I know, I know!! You're all going to say: BUY A TEST!!! 😬 To answer that before you ask: I will, but in 2-3 weeks. Right now, I don't have any symptoms other than this feeling of tightness and "cramping" in my lower abdomen 🙄 (not my stomach, but near my ovaries)... am I just imagining things? 🙄

MaLo said:So, tell me—how long did this little "gut feeling" phase actually last?

Don't expect much from the coalition anytime soon—they're probably already busy babysitting someone—so don't look to me for help. Forget the "gut feelings" and all that nonsense. Just go buy a test, or just sign up for a monitor; I'm sure Edward Green will read the results for you.😘

That could honestly just be ovulation pain.
Either way, fingers crossed it's actually the baby 🙂

But a week later? It's way too early to test. 🙂
