Congrats😍... though, you really only have two options: you either have the baby or you lose it. There isn't a third way... just think it through. At the end of the day, the choice is yours...

I’ve got a test scheduled for tomorrow morning. I can barely sit still 😍
To be totally honest... we weren't even planning on having a baby until next year, maybe the year after. We were actually looking at getting married sometime next year...
So if this test comes back positive... things are going to move fast. I’m still young—just turning 22 this year—but I’ve been with my partner for five years now, and we've lived together for almost two. I just know this is the one 😍
My period usually shows up around the 22nd or 24th—I can't remember exactly—but it always hits around then. It hasn't come yet. I'm about four days late.
I’m running to the bathroom constantly 😁, my breasts feel swollen (though weirdly, they don't hurt for once), I've broken out in some acne (which isn't like me since my skin is usually clear), and there's this constant pressure in my abdomen, like my period is right around the corner...
I should also mention that about ten days after my last period, I had some spotting for two days...
It's got me a little worried. I was already planning on heading to the OB-GYN for my regular annual checkup anyway. So, if the test is negative, I'm heading straight to the doctor...
I can't wait for tomorrow morning 🙂

Hey everyone!
I’m new to this group, and honestly, with all the different threads and sub-topics floating around, I’m feeling a little lost on where to even start. But it felt like the right place to vent/ask for advice (though please correct me if I'm totally off base here).
So, for about three weeks now, I've been dealing with this weird, sharp poking sensation in my lower abdomen and ovaries. Then, over the last ten days or so, the nausea kicked in, and I’ve pretty much lost my appetite entirely—which, I guess isn't the worst thing if I lose a few pounds, right? But yesterday, I noticed my breasts are acting crazy; the veins are super visible and blue, they feel slightly swollen around the nipples (even if they aren't hurting too much yet), and my bras are starting to feel way too tight. Oh, and the bloating is just brutal 😢.
Everything is screaming at me that I might be pregnant (my gut is telling me so), even though the test I took a week ago came back negative. I’m assuming I just took it way too early, since it had only been about 20 days since I actually had sex, and I still had about a week until my period was due. It hasn't shown up 🙂.
Anyway, I just picked up a new test. I think I'm going to take it tomorrow morning. The lady at the CVS suggested using a Post-it Note. I'm really hoping it works. Has anyone else used that brand before? What was your experience like?

p.s. Sorry for the massive wall of text...

Honestly, I think this is the most practical way to go—it’s fast, it’s cheap, and it just works. For me, it showed that second line when I was already three days late...

I actually just finished making it two days ago, and everything seemed to be working fine—so I was thinking I might have gotten ahead of schedule. But then yesterday I started spotting, which makes me think I won't be able to be pregnant after all...

Honestly, sometimes it’s just better to wait until they're running late...

Good luck.

Ugh, I just need to vent here for a second. So, I took a pregnancy test this morning—like, two days before my period was even supposed to show up—and it gave me this pathetic, faint little line that was barely even there. It looked more like a shadow than anything else.
I’ve read online that a line is a line, no matter how faint it looks, but honestly, can anyone actually trust one of those things? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of sketchy result only to find out they were actually pregnant? I guess I'll just have to sit tight for a few more days and try the test again.

Honey, that's pregnancy!!!! Congrats. 😍😍😍

Same thing happened to me. I tested four days before my period and the line was barely visible to anyone but me. Three days before, it was a tiny little sliver. Then, two days before, I went for blood work and the HCG levels were positive. By the day my period was actually due, the line was perfectly clear.

Go get a blood test!

Man, I can't even go visit right now since I'm stuck out here in the States, so there's zero point in me heading over to see the doctor.
Thanks for sharing what happened with you, though. I think I'll just hold off until Thursday and run the test again. I'm really crossing my fingers, but honestly, the results are pretty weak—it’s almost exactly like what you described, where that line is so faint only I can even see it.

It doesn't matter at all. A dash is just a dash. I'm sure everything will turn out fine.

I'm feeling a bit jittery... what was the final tally? Was it a plus or a minus?

stormymason11 I feel for you on this. Seriously, don't let those negative tests get you down—just put in a little more effort during the next cycle and things will hopefully click.
Honestly, hanging out with the girls here, I've realized that most of the symptoms we deal with don't actually mean you're pregnant anyway. Just stay strong.

Yeah, those symptoms are definitely messing with us...
I’m not really the type to just throw in the towel and lose hope easily...
One of these days, things are gonna turn positive 🙂

Hey everyone! 🙂 I’ve been lurking here for a while now—honestly, I just admire how incredibly persistent you all are in your journey to conceive, and how genuine you guys are when cheering each other on. I have a quick question for the group. How many of you—or your twins—were conceived via IVF? Just a bit curious! I’m not pregnant right now, nor are we actively trying to grow our family, but I definitely wouldn't be complaining if that happened for us 🙂 Cheers to everyone—wishing you all the very best in getting what you want!
