Which department are we talking about?

I won't actually receive mine until Tuesday. Would you mind showing me the expected date a day ahead of time?

slybadger99 said:Quick question for everyone—which test should I actually bother taking if I want a reliable result the day before my period is supposed to start?

Which one tends to be more sensitive?

Just use a Clearblue. 🙂

Anthony Allen9, if you think I'm actually waiting on Lara's nonsense, you're dreaming; I have to write my paper tomorrow and there's just no way this is happening!

These symptoms are really starting to get to me! 🤣

Honestly, it all depends on when the embryo transfer happened. It doesn't really matter if the test is pricey or cheap—it just comes down to how much hCG is actually reacting.

Look, I'm well aware of how all this works in theory 😁 hahaha

But I'll end up picking one up eventually. Then we'll just have to see how it actually plays out.

I'm pretty sure it was the day of the expected date...

Honestly, any test you take will show you that there's no need to buy that one from $33

I suppose DPO really is the most important factor here.
I used those Clearblue Compact tests—I think I went through about $12 of them. When I was at 30 DPO (which was basically two days after my period was due), the test showed a very, very faint line. That was right around the 12 DPO mark, I believe.

Just don't go grabbing Gravignost—supposedly they’re the absolute worst.
So, what kind of symptoms are you dealing with?

What kind of symptoms are you even seeing?

Yeah, true, if you actually know when ovulation happened. Otherwise, you’re better off just waiting until your expected period date arrives.

I had a pretty good idea that I ovulated around day 18 or 19 because of a positive test strip, so that's how I was doing my math.

I mean, it’s not like I’m seeing a hundred different symptoms, but my nipples are hurting incredibly badly. They're super sensitive, and honestly, even a light touch is driving me crazy. On top of that, I’m getting these sharp pains in my lower pelvic area maybe two or three times a day.

I’ve never dealt with either of these issues before, so I really believe it, especially with the breast tenderness.

But we'll just have to wait and see what the pregnancy test says.

That’s exactly what I was thinking—and honestly, I had a pretty similar hunch myself. Even though the data was about two days late, I figured if we saw a positive trend, it would probably be quite weak—mostly just because of that delay, I guess.

I’m pretty much in the same boat when it comes to tracking my timing. I know mine happened somewhere between cycle days 12 and 15 because I can always feel that distinct, sharp twinge in my ovary right when ovulation kicks in.

Look, I feel totally betrayed by my LH surges. I would have bet everything that I was ovulating around the 14th or 15th

But the strips showed it didn't actually happen until the 19th or 20th

I have absolutely no clue what those earlier surges were even doing, but they clearly weren't signaling ovulation😳

It’s honestly infuriating because I spent months timing everything perfectly, having sex exclusively during those supposed windows, wondering why we weren't getting pregnant...

I've been hearing some people say that Intim Plus is also a really solid option.

It won't run you more than $15, and honestly, Intim has the same 25IU sensitivity as everything else you'll find at CVS.

For me, those little twinges usually happen a day or two before ovulation. I think I read somewhere that the sensation comes from the follicle actually rupturing—which makes sense, I suppose. My ultrasound results even backed that up since I happened to be at the OB-GYN right around that time a few times.
At least, that’s how it worked for me.

But I guess we are all uniquely different when it comes to this stuff. 😁

We were being careful about using protection both before and after, so... honestly, if we're healthy, it really just comes down to luck; if there's an issue, then we'll deal with it later.

It’s definitely going to be a relief once I finally get to use the bathroom.

My nipples are absolutely killing me—they've never been this sensitive before, and I feel like I have to run to the restroom every thirty minutes or so.😲

I ended up going with one of those Clearblue digital ones... I think they were about $15 at CVS... and I actually tested three or four days before my period was even due 😁
it showed a positive.

Hi everyone. 😢
Well, I just took my third test in a row. Any guesses? It was negative... So that's it. Now I'm certain I'm not pregnant; three tests can't be wrong, right? I'm just feeling so down. My period still hasn't arrived, and I'm getting more and more anxious—especially today. Everything is getting under my skin, and I can't stop crying.
On top of that, my mother-in-law is driving me crazy with her nonsense. 🙂
She actually had the nerve to ask why I'm so on edge and suggested I go get my blood work done on Wednesday instead of tomorrow. I nearly lost it. Since when does she get to decide my schedule? Honestly...
Sorry, I just needed to vent a little.
