Well, fine then... I guess I feel a bit more relieved now...
but I'll admit, I'm starting to get a little paranoid—wondering if there might be some underlying issue with my ovaries or something similar,
and I also had another quick question: does anyone else experience a significantly heavier discharge during sex?

Maybe you're just one of those lucky ones who skips the morning sickness entirely.

More like 17 plus 5!
I know how I am. Weekend sex!🤣

I'm starting to get a little paranoid though... like maybe something is actually wrong with my ovaries or whatever,
and also just one more thing: do you guys notice way more discharge during sex?

Having sex while pregnant (I was reading about this😬) can actually be better than usual because there’s more natural lubrication, so everything feels way smoother and more intense!😉

👍 Precisely. 😬

Come on, help an outsider out here. What’s that supposed to mean? Just some number added to another number?😕>

17 full weeks plus 5 extra days means by Sunday I’ll be at 18 weeks total—basically 18+0.
If you look at your tracker, it might show something like 8w 3d (8 weeks and 3 days), or just the shorthand version: 8+3.

I was actually going to ask the exact same thing. 👍
Are you all calculating this from day one of the last cycle, or strictly from the moment of conception? 🙄

It’s officially counted from day one of your last period—but honestly, just set up a tracker on your phone so you don't have to do all that mental heavy lifting 👍

Wait...
Doesn't she need to know the actual due date before she can even start making a ticker?🙄

Hey there, fellow moms-to-be,
I’ve been scrolling through this forum for a bit now and I’d really love to get some perspective from you all.
Hopefully, I’ve landed in the right place to ask this.
So, here’s the deal: my period is about five days late. My breasts feel a little tender, and I’ve been dealing with some abdominal cramping. Obviously, I know there's a real chance I might be pregnant. I’m planning to pick up a test tomorrow to finally find out for sure. But what I’m really curious about is your own experiences—specifically regarding this occasional stinging sensation I’m getting in my lower abdomen. In your opinion, is that just a normal part of the process, or should I be worried that something might be wrong?

There’s always a chance things could go sideways, but honestly, don't let that headspace take over. Try to stay optimistic!
Initially, I didn't have any real symptoms, just this weird, nagging twinge on my right side near my ovary—sort of like that familiar sensation you get right before your period starts.
And please, let us know what the test results say tomorrow; we're all sitting here dying to know...

I’ll be sure to circle back and let you all know how everything turns out. I'm planning to run the test this Sunday morning, and honestly, I'm really hoping this stinging sensation is just a passing thing.

Does she really need to have her due date set in stone before she can even start building a tracker? It feels like you shouldn't need the final destination mapped out just to start checking the fuel gauge.🙄

Look, I know there are plenty of websites out there where you can run those calculations—it’s not exactly rocket science—but honestly? I just don't have the patience to sit here all day playing Google detective. It's exhausting.
Or, honestly? The easiest way to deal with it is just to grab a calendar and count back 40 weeks from your due date—and then you’re done! Simple as that.
And I’m pretty sure doctors used to run some kind of calculation back in the day—something like nine months minus a week—to estimate the due date. Or at least, that’s how it seemed to me. 🤔

Fingers crossed!😘

I actually got my period just yesterday—right when I was thinking about taking one more test... ugh, I swear I'm going to lose it. Maybe next time, I guess...
It feels like everyone around me is pregnant—my sister's already on her second in such a short time, plus my other sister, then my best friend... and here I am again, still waiting. Honestly, those One Step tests are just stressing me out so much. I really, truly felt like this was the one this time—I had all the symptoms, too—but my period arrived right on schedule, which kind of killed the mood. But hey, I'm trying to stay positive about it, I guess...
I'm really hoping and praying you get some good news soon so you can share it with us—since I don't have much to celebrate on my own right now... Sending you all the luck and a little extra love...

It’s a cure, really—you just have to be patient. Your time will come when everyone starts calling you "the big guy" 😍 just relax and enjoy the ride.

Rachel Walker52, please don't let this weigh you down too heavily. I’ve been through my fair share of disappointments myself, and it often feels like life is just stacking setbacks upon setbacks. But then, there comes a day where everything shifts—that moment when you’re completely blindsided by a positive test result. Until that day arrives, try to find your footing and lean into optimism (once you've had enough time to process this initial wave of sadness). It sounds a bit cliché, I know, but keeping your stress levels in check really does help your body stay relaxed...
