Rachel Walker52, I honestly thought I was pregnant because my period was already fourteen days late. And then, of all things, it finally decided to show up just one day before the wedding!! Seriously, it felt like a cosmic joke—it's enough to make someone lose their mind! But hey, let's look on the bright side: hopefully, next time will bring some actual good luck instead!

Due Date Calculator

www.mayoclinic.org

If you look on the left side, there’s a little box labeled "due date calculator." Just plug in the date of your last period, and it'll give you your estimated due date.

I officially hit my second trimester at the Mayo Clinic yesterday. Should I probably start a new thread specifically for that?

Go for it, though I think the Pregnancy Forum covers all of that stuff anyway.😬

Well, it's fine—I guess I'm starting to come to terms with it. Nothing for this round, but maybe next time I'll actually start prepping more actively... anyway, I'm not going to dwell on it anymore. Whatever happens, happens. Hopefully, luck is on my side next time! Sending good vibes and best of luck to everyone else waiting! ::::::::::🙏 🙏 🙏

Hey ladies, so I just took a test and... nothing. No pregnancy. It’s just a single line, and my period is still nowhere to be found. I’ve been struggling for about fifteen days now—dealing with tender breasts and those sharp abdominal cramps that just won't quit. Honestly, the stomach pains have finally settled down, but my breasts feel swollen and sore, so maybe that means my cycle is finally on its way? I'm technically only seven days late, so I’m trying to tell myself all the possibilities are still on the table. Is it actually possible for these tests to give a false negative?

Of course it’s possible! Honestly, you'll probably know for sure once you see your doctor—until then, you're just stuck guessing and overthinking everything, which doesn't help at all...............
Since you're already a week late, you should definitely check in with your OBGYN, and hey, maybe you'll get some happy news while you're there..........GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

I followed the instructions to a T, just like they said, but honestly? It didn't change a thing. If things keep going this way, I’m definitely going to have to go out and grab a larger bra size.

Well, tomorrow’s a new workday... maybe grab another test if you don't mind heading over to CVS? ...And honestly, if that one doesn't work either, I guess you'll just have to go see the doctor—that's probably the fastest way to settle the whole thing, anyway.

Oh, I am truly sorry to hear that! 😢
If I were in your shoes, I’d just schedule an appointment for, say, next Monday with a private OB-GYN. You go in, get checked out, hopefully receive some wonderful news, pay the bill, and head home on cloud nine. (That’s the outcome I'm rooting for, though if she tells you it's a negative result, well, then you and your partner can just get back to the grind...)
Anyway, best of luck!

If I were in your shoes—and I mean, if I were actually you—I’d probably just book an appointment for, say, next Monday with a private OB-GYN. You go in, get checked out, they give you some amazing news, you pay the bill, and you head home feeling absolutely thrilled (that's what I'm rooting for, anyway! Though, of course, there's always the chance they tell you it's a negative, and then you and your partner are right back to square one...)
Anyway, best of luck!

Thanks so much, dear. 😘

Hey ema1, how many days has it actually been since you were supposed to start?
I’m on day 8 right now, and my test is giving me the same "not pregnant" result. This delay is totally out of character for me; my cycle is usually as predictable as a Swiss watch. It almost always hits on the 29th day, right around 10 or 11 in the morning. But now, I'm already at day 36. It's possible I might just be testing too early.

Look, I took a test when I was seven days late—it came back negative—and yet, I was pregnant anyway.

Oh, thank you so much, Karen! Honestly, reading your story just gave me such a huge boost of hope. I had the exact same experience—I took a test after being five days late and it showed a negative result. It’s like a little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel; it means there’s still a chance for me too! HUUUURAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!

My cycle used to run like a Swiss timepiece—every 28 days, on the dot, I knew exactly when my "visitors" were arriving.
But this delay was just too long, and now with a negative test... you honestly don't know what to think anymore.

Honestly, I am about two seconds away from losing my mind... though, given my current state, I’m basically a walking collection of symptoms myself.😠

I'm running late—it's been exactly 7 days today.

Well, thanks a million for sharing that little nugget of wisdom!
I guess there might still be a glimmer of hope left, then.😎
