Mark said:Outreach really has some guts. By making this move for Coming out day, they’re helping us build an America that actually functions as a true civil society—one where people don't have to live in fear of being discriminated against for who they are.

Tomorrow, Outreach is publishing a list of names in the major newspapers. It’s essentially marking the first official "Coming out day" here in the States, honoring those brave enough to be public about their sexual orientation.

Kudos to Outreach. Thanks for helping make America a better, more inclusive place to live.

What a project. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Yeah. They just showed everyone that you don't mess with them... Once those names went public, America basically turned into... What did it turn into?

Multicultural. 😁 😁 😁

I honestly think publishing these names is just another way to drown the community in social noise. It’s a pretty dumb move if you ask me—probably just makes things even more confusing for them in the long run.

Anyway, John K., 23, barber

It feels almost like some kind of game to him. Maybe within certain circles, people see it as some big, brave statement or something.

It honestly makes my blood boil knowing that taxpayers were forced to foot the bill for this particular project. According to an article in today's USA Today, they ended up dipping into the remaining $10000 leftover from the city's budget intended for the Pride parade. It seems this community truly lacks any sense of fiscal responsibility when it comes to managing such funds.

So you're saying it would've been better spent on the Pride Parade?

And what would you have done with the money instead? Put up a memorial plaque for Franjo Harmon?

Maybe Washington, D.C. will go under because of $10, right?

Just hush already.

I feel like using these names is just another step toward drowning the community in forced inclusivity. Honestly, it’s a stupid move. It’ll probably just make things even more misunderstood for them in the long run.

Man, what a load of absolute garbage. Like, seriously, who gives a damn if someone is gay or a hair stylist? Since when does who you sleep with define your entire existence? I couldn't care less about who's hooking up with who or what color people dye their hair. This obsessive need to force homosexuality into the mainstream is just weird. And then what? Next thing you know, we'll have "straight" parades. Or maybe they won't even call them that. We'll just be out there holding signs saying—I love girls—kiss me!

Just be quiet.

Save that kind of attitude for when you're arguing with your girlfriend at home. 🙂

Furthermore, it’s a mistake to assume this group is the sole representative of the LGBTQ+ community in America. This blog offers various perspectives on the entire landscape, far beyond just this most recent protest.

Haha! There you go! Pride parades basically exist so people can finally tell the difference between a barber and someone who's actually gay. It’s supposed to show that being a stylist doesn't mean you're part of the community. But honestly, based on how much government money gets funneled into this stuff, it's clear most people can't tell the two apart anyway.

It’s all about the money, my dear Ahab.

Oh, please—it’s probably just some ex-lover of > starting a smear campaign. "Gay opposition"... can you even imagine how ridiculous that sounds?

And what exactly is wrong with the name? You’re always preaching against social grouping and the tendency to pigeonhole people, yet suddenly you've developed an issue with pluralism within the gay community. ☕

Yeah, right—it’s just like those shirts that say, "I'm not gay, my boyfriend is."

You're totally delusional.

I go to a woman for my haircuts. Ever since those old-school barbershops vanished, any sane guy just goes to a male stylist.🙄 😁

nimblemarlin17 said:I just go to a lady for my hair. Ever since all the local barbershops went out of business, I've basically just been stuck getting my hair cut by some guy at a salon. 🙄 😁

I used to hit up the ladies too... honestly, it was kind of a vibe when they'd give you that extra attention while they worked... But ever since I switched over to a barber, life's been a lot easier...

Honestly, I just don't have the patience for this kind of nonsense. As far as hair goes, though, my stylist is absolutely fantastic.☕

I couldn't deal with it either. I'm not about to let some random guy from Des Moines disrespect my barber.

Give me a break—those folks in Des Moines are still stuck in an era where you go to one local guy who acts as your barber, your dentist, and your undertaker all at once... ☕
