Look, we're talking about stuff and circumstances we didn't ask for, but we have to deal with them regardless. It’s how you grow. You don't even realize what you're capable of or how much grit you actually have until life throws a massive wrench in your plans and forces you to dig deep. It's only after you've survived the chaos that you finally get why it had to happen that way. Before that, you're just flying blind.

If you believe in karma, then everything happening to us is exactly what's supposed to go down. Your choices aren't just about what you're doing right now; they're tied to everything else—even things from a past life, right?

Spotting those "karmic checkpoints" you mentioned is actually pretty doable. You can tell when you're in one because things start getting messy. Life stops being smooth sailing and starts feeling like a constant grind, or you suddenly find yourself stuck in these intense, chaotic situations where you feel like you haven't even done anything wrong.

From what I've seen, you can definitely sniff these moments out ahead of time. If you pay enough attention to what's going on internally and externally, you can make the right call with total confidence. When you're actually paying attention, the next move won't be some mystery you have to scramble to figure out later.

...you can't have wisdom without facing the consequences of your own actions...😉 😛

What truly matters is how these moments shape our inner selves... what we eventually recognize within them...

You know, that idea from... toward the end... that nothing happens without serving the ultimate purpose of our own lasting well-being...👍

and even a killer is on his way to becoming a saint

so he claims—EVERYTHING IS PERFECTLY WHOLE AT ALL TIMES

it’s all there, right there 😉

Hermann Hesse - Siddhartha

It’s all just an illusion, I guess. 😉

Yeah, sure... the soul has these endless, wild possibilities. 👋
Maybe we should try not to stifle them with our own narrow-mindedness. 🙂

Hey there, darkotter83... let's skip the suffering this time, shall we?😕

Karma can be pretty great... maybe you don't always need the struggle.🙂 👍

The real problem is we're too busy tripping over our own mental limits to actually use them.🙂

Intuition sets you free. Logic just builds walls. 🙂

The Bandit's Bride said:Water flows toward liberation, while the mind only serves to constrain. 🙂

A certain Zen master once asked: "Who is it that actually holds you captive?"
