But the absence of hunger? That’s how you describe love. 😉

It sounds like two things that don't belong together, but they actually weave into one. 😉

And hey, you don't even need caviar to make it work...

Wait, so lack of hunger equals love? 😲

Man, that sounds like some seriously "full stomach" kind of romance. 🙄

A full belly doesn't have room for doubt.

Or was it the other way around? 😵

Jessica Long2 said:So, losing your appetite is a sign of love? 😲

That sounds like a love that’s already hit its fill. 🙄

A full stomach doesn't trust a hungry heart.

Or was it actually the other way around? 😵

I guess everything is just relative. 😉

I was invited to stay overnight with a friend in Annapolis one day. While waiting for the morning fog to burn off, I enjoyed a coffee in the baroque town square and took a stroll through the local market. I ended up picking up some sour cream and a slice of corn bread. Actually, not just a slice—it was nearly a pound heavy! 🙂

Honestly, who else would have forgotten to bring the cream puffs and chestnut cake from Annapolis? Delicious.🙂

It was my first time visiting Annapolis. I'll definitely be back.

I honestly believe you can't truly satisfy an appetite without some bread.

The absence of hunger is what love truly looks like. Viviana said it best. Love sends everything to oblivion except the object of its affection.🙂

Is it possible for an enlightened person to fall in love? Aside from being in love with oneself, of course.

🙂 🙂 🙂

Love isn't about material things, Harold James9, seriously.

Is that just your perspective, or is it a universal truth? 😉

Honestly, you’re the one who should be laying this out for everyone else—all those self-proclaimed "love experts" out there too. 😍

I don’t know, man. Honestly? My brain feels like a total blank slate right now. Everything else has just slipped through the cracks of my memory, but there's one thing that's still crystal clear—the stuff I truly love. That’s the only thing that stuck. 😍

That was my very first trip to Annapolis. I’ll definitely be heading back there soon.

You know, I actually did forget the chestnut cake... 🤔 but I made sure to bring the cream puffs! 🙂

I’ve also only been to Annapolis once, and I just loved how simple and cozy everything felt—the streets, the little alleys, the houses... it was just so peaceful.

And when it comes to love and hunger... 😉 you can go without eating entirely if you aren't hungry. 😉
But then again, once you start wondering—maybe we could grab a bite?—mmm... nothing beats good old bread and cheese... 😉

There’s really nothing more beautiful than when love teaches you to appreciate simplicity in food—how a little bit goes a long way, especially when you realize that the simplest meals, made with plenty of love, are always the most delicious! 😉

When it comes to Cleveland, man, that town is just packed with incredible food that makes your mouth water... I find myself heading there all the time, whether it's for those carnival donuts, some classic cream pies, or a quick coffee, and lately, I've been craving blood sausage with sauerkraut, and don't even get me started on a smooth Bermet—that perfect little aperitif before a heavy meal, or maybe a glass of Port that just makes your eyes sparkle while your soul smiles. 😍
Anyway, my grandmother is actually from around there, so Samuel feels like a second home to me. Once winter hits and the snow starts falling and New Year's approaches, all the houses near the downtown area get decked out in these gorgeous twinkling lights, and at night, the whole town looks like something straight out of a fairy tale. You really have to see it for yourselves, especially if you've only ever visited once. 👍

And when it comes to love and hunger... well, yeah. Back in our college days, my partner and I were basically perpetually broke, so we’d end up crashing at his married brother's place. They'd roll out a massive bowl of potatoes, some peelers, and a few beers, and that was it. We never had another evening quite like that—just simple, happy times spent with rounds of salty fries, some good tunes, and nothing but laughter.
Nowadays, people rarely invite each other over or go visiting because they feel like they have to put on this huge, expensive production, making socializing feel like such a chore. But honestly, all you need is, say, some roasted chestnuts, a bottle of wine, and some good intentions, and everyone walks away happy.
There isn't much hunger anymore, but then again, there isn't much love either, and real love doesn't actually ask for anything fancy... it just wants an open heart and the ability to enjoy the little things. 🙂
