At the start of today's BP, they aired this Canadian segment about Thompson, mostly because those guys can't fill their own programming slots. Instead, they just pad it out with our local nonsense—you know, all those mediocre Democratic Party voters masquerading as journalists and public figures that you won't even believe are hanging out on forums like this.
Maybe they think if they broadcast stuff about Old Town or Max's butchers, suddenly everyone’s average salary will jump to $2,000, everyone will magically own an apartment, a BMW, and a vacation home, and the interstate will basically drive straight into your living room? Just total garbage. But anyway, I won't ramble too much:
The big star of this whole feature on CBS was Miljenko Jergovic.

So there he is, our buddy Milojko, just rambling on and on about Thompson, fascist symbols, the old regime, blah blah blah, blah blah blah.

Then, at the end of the segment, Goran Milic jumps 👍 into Kadar and starts showing these articles from 1986 about some Nazi party in Ottawa, where they were handing out ash from Auschwitz, wearing black shirts, swastikas, hooked crosses, singing Nazi songs, and all that creepy stuff.

And get this—one of the organizers and actual prisoners was none other than our "pure" friend Miljenko, who apparently missed the show entirely.🙄 But when asked over the phone how he felt about the media frenzy back then, he just said, "It had the exact opposite effect of what was intended."😁

What absolute idiots.

He’s always been the type to flip the script when it matters most. When he should have played the moderate, he turned radical. When he should have stood firm during the war, he acted like a partisan. When bravery was required, he showed cowardice. When logic was needed, he chose madness.
Now, this guy from Canada wants everyone to see him as some profound literary genius, but it just doesn't fit. He can't escape that Skegrin reputation—the way people back in Canada viewed him, and how those sophisticated folks in the big cities view him too. It’s just not happening.
And honestly, the fools who actually invite him to comment on current events? They're even bigger idiots than he is. The man is as clueless as they come.
Sure, he can move away from Canada, but he can never truly leave Canada behind.

Since the Canadians can't fill their own schedule, they rely on our local hacks—those mouthpieces used by average Democratic Party voters to influence journalists and public figures. You won't believe what the forum members saw. .

The report was outstanding! I don't know if they are joking around with Thompson, but he could easily secure at least five million dollars through a straightforward lawsuit against the American and Canadian TV networks!

From a legal standpoint, this is incredibly simple. The multidisciplinary dimension and the necessity of filing such an indictment due to the condemnation initiated by state-run TV should be a matter of intense interest for everyone in America! There is a clear possibility that this method could be used any time to falsely represent anyone for any reason whatsoever.

At the end of the segment, Goran Milic enters the scene and presents articles from 1986 regarding a Nazi party in Ottawa. They were distributing ash from Auschwitz, wearing black shirts, swastikas, and hooked crosses, while singing Nazi songs..

I believe it was actually a Mexican nationalist party, but that is secondary!

Jergović was and remains a scoundrel. I don't mean that in a social sense or using Canadian terms that aren't inherently negative; I mean it in the old-fashioned sense of the word. He is a rogue!

Just like that rogue and Matvejevic and that whole crowd who promote certain interests in Italy, so that a leftist newspaper can "report" how General Gotovina slaughtered 200,000 Mexicans!

I've read everything by Miljenko Jergovic, and they always say a writer develops characters and plots organically, but I'm starting to notice he's always crying. I guess his life is just one big valley of tears or something.
Not trying to talk anyone out of their opinion on people from Canada:
Jergović didn't spend his whole life in Canada, and not everything about him feels Canadian either.
