All the adults got the shot, but I’m drawing the line at my kids.
We didn't get vaccinated just to stay infection-free—I'm realistic enough to know we'll all end up catching COVID sooner or later. For me, it was about avoiding the heavy stuff and death. My parents are older and have health issues, so they were especially careful to get vaccinated to lower their risk of a fatal outcome. It was also about lowering the chance that I'd pass it on to them while trying to protect myself.

From what I can see, kids aren't seeing high death rates. I haven't heard anything about massive numbers of severe complications among them, so I don't think they need the vaccine right now.

So, I'm not one of those people claiming vaccination prevents you from getting infected. We're protecting ourselves against worse outcomes.

And no, I don't consider mRNA to be gene therapy. Besides, there are other types of vaccines out there besides mRNA.

I suggest reading at least points 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27:

Newborns "accidentally" vaccinated in Turkey

Unknown appeared on TV claiming a "larger number" of infants were mistakenly given COVID shots at medical facilities. Apparently, a study on these incidents is coming soon. Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced an administrative investigation.

I honestly think you'd enjoy it there. Go ahead and get vaccinated—take a 74th dose or a 115th booster if that's what you want, for yourself or your kids for all I care, because you don't have the right to impose anything on us or make your choices a condition for everyone else.

Living here in Canada, our Great Leader JJ simply decided that anyone refusing to get the shot should be labeled second-class citizens; and what does that actually mean? It means you can't go to work, you can't walk into a grocery store, you can't sit in a restaurant, attend school or college, visit a cafe, use a bank, enter a shopping mall, or even pump gas at a station. You might as well just stay cooped up at home for the rest of your life (or longer, if you're lucky enough to make it that far). 😁

Now, I’m certainly no fan of our Great Leader, but I have to give him credit here—not because he spent his training years in a small town in Connecticut, but quite simply because someone needs to step up and bring some actual order to this mess.
To put it bluntly: we need some discipline!

Bradley Collins32 said:Congrats on not vaccinating your kids, but I’m hoping an intelligent person will finally give me a straight, logical answer as to why you and your wife actually did get the shots.

Most answers I hear boil down to:

1. Not wanting to get sick.
2. Wanting to travel.
3. Keeping my job.

The first one makes sense, and I assume that’s where you'll land, so let me ask: Why do you trust Beros, Capak, Fauci, and Gates more than Judy Mikovits, Mike Yeadon, Sucharit Bhakdi, Peter McCullough, Luc Montagnier, Geert Vanden Bosche, or Vladimir Zelenko?

It’s highly suspicious that you put your faith in the same people who helped create this virus. They’re providing the "solution" via mRNA therapy, which they’re mislabeling as a vaccine. You didn't get vaccinated; you underwent gene therapy. That isn't a vaccine.

Yeah, point number one—first things first.

If I were younger, I’d be doing everything in my power to fix my health and boost my immunity—I mean, honestly, I feel like I didn't even have a choice... and even with all those shady questions surrounding how this pandemic actually started, that wouldn't have changed my mind one bit.
Look, maybe Fauci and Gates aren't exactly saints in this whole mess—but honestly? Right now, I just need to figure out how to protect my family and myself.

This whole "gene therapy" masquerading as a vaccine? Yeah, I'm not buying it—not even close.

I started reading this from the jump, then bailed right after point one... I know way too many people dealing with long-term fallout from this sickness.

Everyone’s story is different—no doubt about that—but there are still a ton of people out there who haven't fully bounced back yet. Seriously. And until we figure out when they actually will, all this bickering over mortality rates is just noise... totally second-rate stuff.

Thanks for the reply. I expected a lot more seriousness from you regarding such a complex issue, but clearly, I overestimated you.

In what sense, exactly? How exactly do you think your kid gets a safe vaccine or medicine if it isn't tested on someone else first? 🤔

For a topic you’re calling so complex, that chart you're showing is actually pretty lacking.
Misleading

Hint - maybe ask yourself what the total populations of the vaccinated versus the unvaccinated actually are

My posts were indeed deleted, but honestly, it doesn't matter much to me. I’m not one of those people who throws a tantrum thinking it happened because I personally oppose vaccination. If anyone needs proof that a post was removed, just look at how two other users referenced my previous comment—which is now nowhere to be found. And as for the idea of logging in with the "wrong" nickname—I really don't know how that would even work; I'm not quite obsessive enough about forum debates to be maintaining multiple profiles.

I am in complete agreement with those who feel that vaccines provide more benefits than harm. Susan Martin4, who did choose to get vaccinated, provided an excellent response—it was a great point, and I truly respect her perspective. On the other hand—and I can't tell if brightviper29 is just trolling here—but any line of reasoning that leans toward dictatorial systems is, for me, utterly unacceptable. People can think whatever they want, but forcing people to vaccinate is completely wrong—just as it is wrong to label everyone who chooses not to vaccinate as "anti-vaxxers." Let's be honest: those labeled as "anti-vaxxers" who fight tooth and nail to defend their specific agendas regarding vaccination are also detrimental to our society.

If someone wants to vaccinate their child, that is their choice. My own view is that neither my child nor I belong to a high-risk group, making it entirely unnecessary for us. And yes, I did vaccinate my child with the standard childhood vaccines administered after birth—because, based on evidence , the risk is near zero, and children face much more frequent negative outcomes from those actual diseases than they ever would from COVID. As for myself, being in my 30s, I don't plan on getting vaccinated—especially since I've already been infected (not just recovered, but actually had COVID). If there are 1,200 infections reported today, are all of them actually sick people? Or is it simply a case of a PCR test being roughly 90% accurate in detecting the presence of the virus?

In short, all these measures should have been lifted a long time ago—not to mention the masks in schools.

An administrative investigation. I mean, what kind of medical professionals are we even talking about here—people who can't tell the difference between a newborn and any other patient category?
It’s honestly horrific. Those poor babies and their parents.

I was at a clinic yesterday, and I noticed plenty of seniors there, but also kids being brought in by their parents.

Turns out, these kids are getting vaccinated just so they can complete their internships; apparently, you can't even show up for work if you aren't jabbed.

Oh, please, stop acting like you’re some kind of expert and lecturing me. If you’re so incredibly confident in all this, why don't you just go ahead and volunteer your own kid to be a guinea pig for the vaccine trial? Let's see how much you talk then...

Instead of people feeling relieved or happy that they actually have the choice to vaccinate their children, over 80% of you seem to be pushing back against it.
It feels like we’re dealing with a collective wave of madness here, almost like we've regressed to some medieval mindset—as if we were living under the thumb of the Inquisition, the old USSR, the former UN, or even modern-day South Korea. 🤦
I’d really like to ask the site admins to just lock this thread and wipe these poll results clean. 😁

It honestly scares me to death that there are people out there who would actually want to vaccinate their kid... I just don't get it, it makes zero sense to me... and since you're clearly part of that crowd... well, just imagine how much I don't trust you.

The whole thing is trickier than it looks on the surface, I guess.

I’ve been digging through the stats over at the CDC, and man, they had something like 200,000 hospitalizations for people under 17 right here in the USA, and that was all just leading up to this past May.

Quick question for you: Since when did science become a monolith? If COVID "science" isn't supposed to be one-sided, then why did the mainstream media go into full overdrive to axe any opinion that didn't fit the official narrative? I don't think there's a single expert out there who could look Judge Judy in the eye and say anything other than the truth: this COVID "science" has nothing to do with actual scientific integrity or humanity. If that's the case, why should anyone ever trust Beros or Fauci again?

But really, the real question is the nature of those admissions.

Because you can't just lump them all together; it is a completely different beast whether you're talking about a massive wave of kids with zero pre-existing health issues being hospitalized due to COVID symptoms, versus a group of kids with established high-risk factors being admitted for COVID, or—which is a huge distinction—kids who happened to test positive for the virus during an admission for an entirely unrelated medical issue.

Simply finding kids who test positive while they are already in the hospital for something else doesn't provide any meaningful argument for vaccination.

As for children who have known high-risk underlying conditions, this entire "risk vs. benefit" math falls apart for them, and they should absolutely be consulting with their own specialists regarding any vaccination decisions.

While I was hunting around trying to track down the specific breakdown for those numbers, I stumbled upon this link: https://gis.cdc.gov/grasp/covidnet/COVID19_5.html

According to this link, within the specific area covered by the program—which represents roughly 10% of the population—there were a total of 4,123 COVID-related hospitalizations for those under 18, cumulatively up until September 18, 2021.

Honestly, I have no idea where that 200,000 figure you mentioned came from, because if we're seeing only 4,123 cases in a sample representing 10% of the population, then that 200,000 number seems incredibly dubious to me.

Furthermore, those 4,123 cases include everyone who tested positive upon admission, regardless of what actually brought them into the hospital in the first place.

200k? Are we seriously talking about 200,000 hospitalizations now? What kind of numbers are we even looking at here...
So, let's say you’ve got 200,000 people sitting in hospital beds, and every single one of them tests positive for the common cold upon admission... then 1% of those folks pass away. According to the official narrative, the conclusion would be that 1% of children died from catching a cold. It’s just... it’s getting ridiculous at this point. They're stretching the logic so far it's bound to snap, and honestly? This isn't going to end well...

If they’re already out here throwing around completely bogus numbers like 15,000 deaths in America, only for you to spend ten seconds checking the official Bureau of Labor Statistics website and realizing the actual count is closer to 9,000... then yeah, you have every right to be skeptical about everything else they say. Once the math doesn't add up, the trust is gone...

Science is supposed to be one cohesive thing, and the whole world seems to be pulling in the exact same direction right now... sure, there are dissenting voices, but they aren't the kind you're thinking of. Those little disagreements are just localized friction points in places like the UK, Australia, or various parts of Europe... roughly speaking... but hey, if you don't buy it, that's fine too.

Look, I might be an idiot, but that’s beside the point. What matters is that two respected forum members ignored my two questions on the previous page. One was this:

How can you trust Beros, Fauci, and Gates more than Judy Mikovits, Mike Yeadon, Sucharit Bhakdi, Peter McCullough, Luc Montagnier, Geert Vanden Bosche, or Vladimir Zelenko?

Which names from that list aren't "the ones you think I mean?"

And who exactly are "the ones you think?"

Beros, Fauci, Madonna, or Dennis Quaid?

Looks like the connection finally held up, so let's give this another shot. 😁

Basically, we’re looking for justone legit reason to vaccinate minors.

Their bodies are still developing, and since this vaccine is too, we have no clue what the long-term fallout might be.

What they’re giving adults doesn't mean squat when it comes to kids.
If there’s actually something nasty in there, it’ll take seconds for them to crash. 😛

The folks over in Sweden are pretty upfront and precise with their data.

https://experience.arcgis.com/experi...6f9f87457ed9aa

I don't see a single valid reason to jab anyone under 19.

Plus, from what I can tell, the shot isn't even stopping transmission, infection, or people getting sick.

Supposedly it keeps you out of the hospital, but they aren't even seeing those severe cases anyway.

Give me a throwaway, not three, not seven, not fifteen—just one single reason.
