Developing a vaccine and testing one are two totally different beasts. Yeah, the development side dragged on way longer for a ton of reasons, but that wasn't because of the testing phase itself.

Also, you have to realize that the number of participants in Phase 3 for typical drugs and vaccines used to be about ten times smaller than what we're seeing with these new shots.

We’ve already broken down which metrics are primary (symptoms) and which are secondary (antibody titers). From a health standpoint, symptoms clearly take precedence, but unfortunately, they overlap heavily with other illnesses—especially in kids.
Trying to validate vaccine efficacy against COVID-19 based solely on primary metrics is a joke. It’s an approach that clearly works for Pfizer (I've quoted them before), which is just sad.
Secondary measures are labeled "less important" by definition, but they're the only way to actually confirm if we're dealing with COVID-19 or something else entirely.

Just to set the record straight, they are considered approved because we saw this exact same rollout back when Tamiflu was fast-tracked for that swine flu scare.

A German epidemiologist and expert on all this stuff, Dr. Sucharit Bakhdi (who, by the way, has actually dropped two books on this exact topic since the pandemic kicked off), said—and I am quoting him here—that anyone claiming [vaccines] against C19 are necessary for kids belongs behind bars [in prison]. That is a massive statement to make... he definitely didn't just say that out of thin air.

Those worrying 9.5% from the poll really ought to sit with that for a second (assuming the results are legit and those people are being totally honest about where they stand).

I've watched countless documentaries over the years, and based on everything I've seen, I’d argue that there are probably a billion people in those countries who have never even laid eyes on a doctor, let alone had the chance to get vaccinated!

There’s been a noted uptick in cases of myocarditis and pericarditis among younger people who have received Pfizer or Moderna. The CDC is currently looking into why this is happening. So far, they haven't established a definitive causal link, and while there haven't been any fatalities, a small number of individuals required intensive care. It's worth noting that the overall incidence rate remains extremely low.

That said, this is certainly a factor I plan to weigh—alongside the projected risks of a COVID infection and the fact that transmission rates where I live are currently low and trending downward—when the time comes to decide on vaccinations for my children. (They are both far too young at the moment.)

So how is it that more than double that amount in doses has already been used?

It's likely because total doses administered counts everything handed out, whereas the number of vaccinated people simply refers to those still alive.
