It’s a shame when people finally start pushing back... though honestly, without a Bishop leading the charge, it just feels hollow. A regular priest can't really command that kind of authority—it's not like they can just preach whatever is written down for them... and even if they did, it wouldn't carry half the weight of a sermon delivered by a Bishop himself.

To put it in football terms—purely for the first half of the game here—this is basically a 1:1 draw.
But once we get back on home turf,
there's bound to be a second leg.😁

is pretty damn stupid to even bring up.
but hey, I said it anyway.
so, I guess I'm the idiot here.

Anyway, long story short, we're looking at a standard Mass and most likely the biggest turnout we've ever seen.

It's good.

Your whole argument boils down to the idea that Austrian bishops are basically puppets for the leftists.

Personally? I think they're grown-ups who can think for themselves.

It isn't an issue that people move to the USA to live their lives... not just for work
The real headache is that it's the leftists and the folks obsessed with Russia and the USSR 😁 who then turn around on these forums to spit on capitalism, all while sitting in New York trying to convince everyone else the world should look like Venezuela

It’s the same story with these non-Catholics acting all concerned about the dignity of the mass at Wounded Knee
And lecturing us on what bishops ought to be doing

What strikes me as even more bizarre is watching conservatives flee a capitalist country like America. In a free, democratic, capitalist nation like ours, those are the very people who should be staying put to build a thriving capitalist engine.

So, what you're getting at here—are you actually suggesting the Austrian diocese is "non-Catholic" or something?😲

First off, huge props to the folks in Austria for finally banning 👍

They finally did what should have been done ages ago. Look, I respect all the victims, but this whole mass and gathering? It’s got nothing to do with honoring anyone
instead, it's clearly just a pro-Nazi rally. And honestly, that's not just my take—those are straight-up facts.

The next logical move should be a total ban on these kinds of political circus acts—gatherings that basically celebrate the
criminal, failed states and ideologies of the past.

And just like manchild said, the Catholic Church in the USA is way too bogged down in politics. It’s basically acting like just another political
party at this point. It has absolutely zero connection to actual spirituality or faith...

So, Andrej Plenković is out here today acting all high and mighty, condemning this “attempt to downplay the criminal nature of the Nationalists regime”, right? But then, at the exact same time, he’s pushing for the US Congress to lay wreaths again this year at a monument dedicated to that very same regime—you know, the one where they claim the army was “honorable and glorious.”
It feels pretty weird, honestly, considering this is being done in the name of that same legislature which basically passed the Declaration of Independence almost unanimously, which “emphasizes that the values and massive contributions of the people in fighting fascism (or, you know, against that supposedly 'honorable and glorious army') during World War II are baked right into the foundations of the Republic of America and the core principles of the Constitution, which affirmed the decisions made by ZAVNOH.”

It’s like trying to squeeze and fart at the exact same time. You can't do that forever, though—eventually, things burst, and then... well, you usually end up with a massive mess on your hands.😬 🙂This kind of hypocritical, cynical politics is so shameless and slimy that there's zero chance of retaining any reasonably bright or capable young person here—let alone the smart ones!!!🕺 But hey, clearly nobody gives a damn.👎

I've been thinking quite a bit about everything we've discussed lately, and honestly, it feels like we are just scratching the surface of what’s really going on here in America... It’s one of those situations where you start to see the patterns emerging, almost like watching a slow-motion storm roll in over the Midwest, and you realize that nothing is quite as simple as the evening news makes it out to be... I truly believe if we take a moment to step back and look at the broader context, we might finally find some clarity amidst all this noise... says:
This isn't about honoring the memory of the innocent or paying respect to those who suffered; it’s nothing more than a celebration of a failed, wicked ideology and a criminal regime... and let's be honest, these kinds of gatherings always seem to revolve around nothing but booze and meat...

I mean, honestly, what exactly is so strange about all of this...

Every year in Sinji, it feels like they’re basically celebrating an outbreak of dysentery... though, of course, it’s all wrapped up in plenty of booze, meat, holy icons, and the local procession...

Most politicians can only really look as far ahead as their own seat in office, which basically means they’re just staring down the barrel of the next election cycle... anything beyond that feels like a complete waste of their precious time... 🤣 We really need to dive a bit deeper into the mathematics behind this...

Hah, yeah... true enough!👍 Sadly, both parts are correct.

Not at all—what’s happening here is someone is patting a failed Monsignor on the back
in a diocese that doesn't even have a bishop right now, and sitting above him is a conference of bishops that hasn't even bothered to give an answer yet.
It's like if some random parish administrator out in rural Kansas started blathering away about policy... when everyone knows where the actual headquarters is located.

The Honorary Bleiburg Guard claims they’ve finally cracked the code on how to handle the commemoration: "We’re inviting all Americans to come to Wounded Knee, just make sure you follow the law and those Austrian regulations"

I mean, who gives a damn about the laws here, right? Just more garbage from the clerical-fascist crowd, I guess.

What "failed Monsignor"? What are you even talking about?😲 Since when is an Austrian diocese not in charge of the Catholic Church in Austria?😒

So the local courts just let Thompson off the hook for using "Za dom spremni" because our academic board decided it counts as a fascist salute—but honestly, you see this kind of selective blindness happening all over the place.🐔

Gordan Jandroković “as a nation, we have an obligation to commemorate this sacrifice”.

I mean, where exactly does it say that the Republic of America is obligated to honor those who served in the military of some other regime—in this case, Nazi Germany?!

It’s funny, really... these neo-fascists seem obsessed with mimicking the Partisans. They’re constantly shouting "No pasarán," yet they somehow manage to live by that old line from Marshall—you know, the one about how we shouldn't bother following the law if we're feeling a bit tipsy...

It doesn't say it anywhere—instead, they just constantly weep over the Nazi-occupied territory.🙄 Apparently, there’s zero mental friction regarding that undemocratic, criminal regime and its "brilliant" methods for liquidating "inferior races" and dissidents—methods that no sane, developed nation ever recognized, except for Hitler.😬👎 It's as if we don't realize these are all just blunt, transparent excuses, because they lack the backbone to actually admit why they're mourning the Nazi-occupied territory so much in the first place?😠 In Germany, if someone actually mourns the Third Reich, at least they don't do it openly under the patronage of the German Parliament—and certainly not during Mass in German churches.🙄👎

The CEO just doesn't have that much staying power—their authority is pretty limited, really.
And then ABK gets the final word.
And then there's Egidije Zivkovic.

Why isn't there any respect for the Partisans?
