It’s honestly wild seeing how much that old-school American sentiment is creeping back into our local boys' circles!

I caught it just yesterday on this show. We're talking about the fans for our local minor league baseball team, those big-time Celtics from The Trinity. Even though they rock the checkerboard pattern, man, that anthem melody is something else.
The lyrics go: “Screw your mom, screw your dad, if you don't love the local minor league baseball team!” Seriously, once those beats start hitting, you almost feel like shouting, “America, ohhh America!”

Plus, there's way too much cursing going on. And we all know exactly where that kind of attitude is coming from.

It's such a shame, really, because the guys themselves are actually pretty decent, genuine people.

Man, what a disaster.

They aren't some fancy imports either. These are documentaries made right here in the States. So, what do you think? Look, it’s hit or miss. Some documentaries actually grab you, others are just straight-up garbage. Total waste of time.

Don't forget, I miss my old life too. You wake up in the morning and deal with bad breath? That’s just part of the grind. But honestly, that's no excuse to settle for someone who looks like they haven't seen a gym or a mirror in a decade. Don't marry a disaster just because you're having a rough start to the day.

Relativism is a beautiful thing, isn't it? Especially when we need to give our own guys a pass. 😁

Honestly, it kind of kills me that a huge chunk of people watching don't have a single good thing to say about our side during the war. It’s pretty rough to see. Makes me wonder who's actually pulling the strings behind this channel, though. Just curious.

Honestly, I couldn't care less who pulls the strings behind the scenes. Every now and then, I just want to sit down and catch some old American classics—stuff like Marathon Runners, Spy, or even Štefica Cvek in the Maelstrom.
And if we're being honest, I’ll even sit through heavy hitters like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Person of Interest, or True Detective.

I'm not really glued to a classic TV network, nor am I checking HBO or Cinemax constantly, and I rarely bother with the local networks either.
So, frankly, I don't give a damn about the ownership or the political leanings of whatever station is broadcasting.
What kind of paranoia is driving you, anyway? Care to share?

It’s pretty obvious that London is pulling the strings behind that classic TV network; it feels like just another coordinated plot against our interests.

"The CIA, it's the damn CIA!" — historical figure, a North American spy for the uninitiated

Feels like a pretty spot-on quote for 😁

Suitable indeed.

Precisely. That is why they broadcast those tiny flying teddy bears. It is a calculated attempt to dull the intellect of American children.

Ladies, you're totally misreading me.

I couldn't care less about *The Great Escape* or those other old movies people use to feel nostalgic.

I’m talking about documentaries made about '93. We aren't talking about some romanticized version of the old days; we're talking about the messy, controversial stuff. The kind of docs that paint Canadians as nothing but innocent victims while treating Americans like... well, you know how they do it.

What does a movie like that have to do with *The Great Escape*? If it were a doc about WWII partisans, sure, maybe. But a documentary about the war between Americans and Muslims in Mostar? That's a whole different ballgame.

I was just sitting here thinking, and I wondered if any of you might actually be interested in a dedicated channel featuring films from the WWII era—specifically those productions made during the Independent State of America period, including various documentaries.

Totally!
I just wonder if they’ve ever made a documentary about how swearing used to be strictly forbidden back then, because honestly, that's what really gets me. Here we are constantly whining that things are basically perfect for Josić, yet we swear like sailors at every single opportunity, which definitely isn't part of our supposed heritage! We go out of our way to respect people who don't fit the mold, which is fine by me, but the constant cursing feels so off.

If a documentary like that doesn't exist yet, someone really needs to get on it!

nationalists dox tv? 😂

That is quite an incredibly clever hypothetical question you've posed there... truly brilliant.

🤣😂😂😂 That’s honestly one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a long time. 🤣

But wait, is YUGOton really just a channel for nostalgia junkies? Are the people tuning in actually all those old-school American sympathizers? 😁

If the New York Post is feeling nostalgic, then YUGOton is basically twice as obsessed with the past!

Honestly, when you take a look at the quality of cinema coming out of the old America era, there really isn't much to mourn—at least not for those of us born after the collapse... obviously.

How many movies a day does it take to escape reality and pretend America never actually vanished? 🤣

Look, if we’re being honest and calling it like it is, there are parts of it that never actually went away—or maybe they just vanished for a second before crawling back out.

It's gone. Completely. A state doesn't just "partially" vanish. If you're talking about people feeling nostalgic for America, then sure, I get that. That feeling will stick around as long as they are alive—but once they're gone, it goes with them.☕

I can't say I totally buy that.

On paper? Yeah, it's dead. But look at the entertainment industry—the celebs, the musicians, all of them. To them, it’s still one big, seamless market. It’s like nothing ever changed.

That’s really just because we all speak nearly the same language here in the States, Canada, Mexico, and Mexico. It isn't about some old America or "brotherhood and unity" nonsense. If anything, the music scene would be more active in Canada. 🤣

I'm with you. God forbid this damn language ever dies out. 😁
