It’s been over six months since I was hit with that partial ban regarding the coronavirus topic.
Is there any way to have that restriction lifted?

briskdrifter3, why are you even putting yourself through this, begging them to let you off the hook from their random-ass decisions?

Comparing this to the post I linked—it's basically like shopping at a small local corner store every single day. The owner just sits there gossiping with the staff about how you're such a sucker for paying their prices when you drive right past a massive Walmart every morning.

Casey Bennett, your comparison is total garbage.

If we’re actually going to use analogies, this whole situation is like some lunatic breaking into a Home Depot every single day demanding a stuffed unicorn, taping pictures of stuffed unicorns all over the aisles, and picking fights with the managers and customers who try to tell him that a hardware store isn't where you find plush toys—all while stubbornly refusing to leave until everyone concedes that the stuffed unicorn absolutely belongs there and that anyone saying otherwise is lying.

So, after days of relentless arguing and explaining that a Home Depot is not a toy store, and that they don't carry unicorns and never will as long as the sign on the door says "Home Depot," the staff finally hit their breaking point.
They essentially kicked that unicorn-obsessed maniac out the door, sent him straight to the nearest Toys "R" Us, and banned him from ever stepping foot near a hardware store again.

There, it's not that hard to grasp.

But that local toy store (the one where his colleague @Barack Obama was so graciously directed) is actually located in the same building as the hardware store 🤷

My apologies, I didn't realize both shops were located on the same floor sharing a single elevator.
Yeah, it's a bit of a logistical nightmare.

Look, from what I can tell, the Corona situation remains exactly the same set of regulations and protocols; absolutely nothing has shifted since you were dealing with those partial payments. And let’s be clear: you didn't lose out on those funds simply because you stepped out of the elevator on the wrong floor once or twice. No, it was because of your constant loitering right at the entrance and that stubborn insistence on walking into the wrong storefront repeatedly. You refused to settle down, despite every single attempt made to point out where you were going wrong.
What could possibly have changed in your life to make things any different now?

My take is more like an ungrateful shop owner badmouthing a regular customer, or a moderator publicly pointing out how @Kerefek76 can't post because of some supposed bias. Honestly, who cares? Why would a mod even bring that up? It just feels like a power trip, flexing muscles when there isn't even a reason to.

@Kerefek76, like everyone else here, is a valued member who's put out endless pages of content; whether what he writes is "true" or not shouldn't matter.
That's how most members are treated—instead of getting a thank you, people who write "complaints," as the powers that be call them, get persecuted.
People should prove themselves through actual debate with other members, but those debates get shut down by mods who don't seem to grasp what people are even saying.
The bottom line is that the community vibe the owner promised has completely missed the mark.
Forcing users to dig up stuff written 15 years ago as if it's some sacred value is weird. Today is a new day and a fresh chance to share an opinion or make a point during a discussion.
I explained my point, so now that you get it, can we move on, or is the verdict already set in stone regardless of the debate?

It’s like that time you were posting about JP Morgan Chase and whether their tech support was bad.
You didn't catch my drift, I got a warning and then a ban—thanks for making me want to avoid this forum entirely.

pzec, here is your contribution to the mobile technology PDF regarding the topic of Visa mobile banking.

pzec said:It’s pretty obvious there is some decent cooperation going on between the Visa team and the crew running this forum.
We should just be grateful we can even access the forum at all; if we start demanding more, they might start charging us a fee just like JPMorgan Chase does.
For now, this place stays alive thanks to people who, out of pure gratitude that it even exists, donate their time and expertise to the owner—hoping they'll eventually get paid or not, which sounds like the exact situation with the interns over at JPMorgan Chase that Casey Bennett described.

Look, I'm clearly the idiot here who doesn't grasp your massive craving for attention, which is so intense that you end up posting complete nonsense in totally unrelated threads.
No matter which topic you stumble into, you immediately start ranting about your frustrations with this forum. Get it together and stop ruining discussions for everyone else. At least not in this space.

Again, you're saying that I'm just rambling. Give me an actual example of when I'm rambling; maybe I just don't get it and can explain myself.

The stuff about JPMorgan Chase was just a response to your specific post here

The Visa team is basically working two people for the price of one. The pay is so low that anyone who can leave does, and the new kids who fall for those sweet-sounding job ads end up quitting after just a few months.
Yeah, be happy the app even works. Don't go asking for decent error messages yet.

That was your post, so my comment was just a reaction to it. Your message was basically "stay away from JPMorgan Chase," right? Or did I miss the point?

What could possibly have changed in your life to make things any different now?

The wrong side? Which wrong side?

Most of what I’ve laid out has essentially come to pass... quite clearly.
Vaccines are still being ordered in massive quantities.
Mainstream medicine continues to push vaccination—though, thankfully, they aren't quite as aggressive about it given the public backlash.
The vaccine doesn't prevent death, nor does it protect against infection.
The vaccine contributes to excess mortality and leaves some people with severe consequences.
The COVID-19 passport hasn't vanished or been abolished; it’s merely been frozen until the next "pandemic" rolls around.
There are plans to merge COVID-19 passports with biometric data as part of a digital identity initiative—this was all settled during the last G20 meeting.

BTW...
After three years of constant social interaction, I still haven't caught COVID-19. It sounds absurd, but I sit perfectly normally with people who have fevers or test positive... I touch the same surfaces, breathe the same unventilated air, shake their hands. My wife and kids are healthy too. For me, COVID-19 simply doesn't exist.

As for posting, I’ve lost the desire to write on the official COVID forums because everything has already been said. It’s mostly just Egos writing to themselves, punctuated by the occasional fearful soul. It isn't interesting anymore; the sides have been drawn, and those who wanted to be informed are already informed.
Besides, the dying has already begun and will continue to accelerate—so there isn't much left for me to add. Everything will become clear to everyone eventually. It's already clear to you, too—I can tell by the shift in your tone—you're just still insisting on your own way.

What I want is to occasionally drop a few thoughts into the Skeptics sub-group.

Good grief... looking back, I had a similar run-in with Bitcoin, where I advised selling when it was above $50k before it tanked—and I warned about the danger of exchange collapses, which, as we can see, actually happened. I don't even care to post there anymore because Bitcoin has already crashed. It’s on life support now. Anyone watching with their eyes wide open can see it.

It feels as though we are slowly transforming, as a society, into an authoritarian dystopia.
In this world, having an opinion is treated as a crime worse than stealing a million euros or committing murder. Because of an opinion, careers are destroyed, licenses are revoked, and people are fired... meanwhile, the thieves sitting on stolen money just enjoy their coffee, completely undisturbed.

Pzec, trying to explain anything to you is a complete waste of breath.
Your comments rarely touch on the actual subject at hand, serving instead as nothing more than vehicles for your own personal agenda.
And naturally, in your eyes, I’m wrong and incapable of understanding you.
Does anyone actually listen to your pathetic ramblings?

That’s a rhetorical question. You aren't the topic here, even though you go to extreme lengths to hijack it. Get lost.

Which specific PDFs have you been flagged on?
BTW, you’re actually a solid forum user—I was just scrolling through your thread over on Alternative the other day. Honestly, compared to most of the crowd posting there, it’s pretty obvious you actually know your stuff (technical background, right?) and I actually find myself wanting to read your posts because they aren't just a mess of nonsense—they're actually well-structured.
You strike me as being a bit stubborn—maybe even a little rigid—with your opinions, but man, if I were a moderator, I would've slapped a partial ban on you already. I don't see why it hasn't happened yet.
Aleta, what do you even have to lose?
UPS, I forgot—it’s such a patriarchal setup over there that you wouldn't be allowed to make a call like that anyway. 😬

You could honestly bait Ariana Grande into a confrontation before the day after tomorrow—not even out of malice, just pure lack of information. Every single moderator on this sub needs to be in total agreement regarding her removal, just as they were when they decided to let her post in the first place.

As for where I haven't been flagged... well, that's a much better question. 😁

I’ve been flagged on the war in Ukraine, on the pandemic, and now on the entire state of the economy.
I've managed to irritate the true believers and the bureaucrats alike... almost to a fault. 😁

Kanye West said:It’s honestly hilarious how they just ban everyone who actually keeps things interesting and dynamic. Then, predictably, the threads just die out because nobody feels like commenting when they know any actual discussion is strictly off-limits.
So, boldcanyon14 got banned from the Economics section recently over a thread about immigrant labor. The guy completely lost his mind—banning people, deleting posts left and right, and finally shutting the whole thing down because he couldn't force everyone to parrot the official government narrative about the benefits of importing workers. 😁
It’s obvious from a bird's-eye view: their whole job is just suppressing information and spinning the narrative to suit their agenda.
They need to let people speak, otherwise, this forum is pointless. But they want to control the conversation and spin everything their way, which isn't happening because forum users aren't toddlers; we're adults who don't fall for this crap. Now they're stuck in a lose-lose situation where the forum is slowly dying with every banned member, even though they want to keep it alive just to gather intel on what people are thinking for the government and intelligence agencies.
They're just wasting their breath... as they say.

The only sad part is that you still clearly don't get why you were banned. Or rather, I bet you do, but you prefer playing the victim and clinging to these conspiracy theories about "information suppression" instead of looking at your own posts to find the real reason.

Just look at the nonsense you write here, in a thread where you're begging for access back to the subforum where you totally lost your mind. Do you seriously think anyone sane would let you back in after all that blowing up and subtle disrespect? But sure, let's just claim it's all some massive conspiracy against you. It could never be your own fault, right?

If it makes your life easier to believe you're always right and the entire system is out to get you, go for it.

For years, you were essentially exiled from the Economics section because you turned it into your own little playground to rant about COVID, wars, vaccines, chemtrails, globalist agendas, shadow governments, Nirvana planets, and whatever else. You act like some enlightened guru, turning every single topic into the exact same repetitive debate. So fine, go around telling everyone you were banned over an immigrant labor thread if that helps you sleep better. We won't mention the hundred warnings you racked up across ten different threads or the frantic DMs begging you to calm down.

By the way, there *is* a thread about immigrant labor, featuring the exact same crowd and the exact same arguments as the one in Economics. Only now, it's in Politics, which is where it belongs since it didn't fit under Economics. In fact, most of the posts there are actually against importing labor. There goes your theory about "suppressing information" and "controlled discussions." Just like always with your posts—you're just shooting blanks.

Now they're stuck because the forum is losing its soul and dying off with every banned member, yet they still want to keep it alive because it's useful for the government and intelligence agencies to spy on what people are thinking.
All that effort was for nothing... like they say, it's a lost cause.

Regarding everything you wrote in those threads and here in the lounge:👍
My persecutor basically decides on a disciplinary action all by himself. Of course, nobody actually checks if it's fair; I guess that's just his "reward" for volunteering.🤦
In my case, aside from that one specific moderator, the rest of the mod team hasn't given me a single warning, card, or ban in six years. So how is it possible that everyone supposedly needs to agree on a disciplinary action?
If that were true, the process should at least be transparent to the person involved.
I haven't changed my way of writing.
Maybe the relationship between a moderator and the member they're targeting needs to be more clearly defined.
And moderators should at least be decent when talking to members.
If anyone needs to see the latest organized attack by "The Master," I can send it to whoever asks. Posting it here in the lounge is useless based on my experience.

Tonci, look, I'm not saying people don't stray off-topic sometimes or pick up a ban when they deserve it... but don't act like we haven't seen those posts in the Finance section. They were perfectly on-topic, great arguments, followed every rule of etiquette and forum decorum... then suddenly, they just vanished into thin air.

No bans, no warnings. Just deleted.

They just messed around a bit and ended up with a single duplicate quote, and the regulars in Finance immediately knew what was happening.
You'd have to be blind to miss the "content review" happening right in front of us.

How many people did they toss into the void without a single reason, citing nothing but "increased sensitivity" ? And then they ignored them here when they asked why:

And during that period, there were a million threads here where long-time users with spotless records got nuked solely for having an "unpopular opinion," even if they stayed on topic and followed every rule. The mods just swallowed high-quality posts overnight without any explanation. It's textbook censorship.
Even the guy in the link above explained it to an intelligent person by saying: it isn't crap, the dog just had an accident. 😁

I'm not pointing fingers at you, but please, stop burying your head in the sand.
Now the Finance section is exactly what you wanted—a half-empty shell where everyone who sparked a real conversation was kicked out, leaving behind half the reading and half the posts. 👍

But hey, at least the content is actually "high quality" and stays on track with the narrative 😍

I don't really get what your problem is—you aren't even part of the Alternative crowd...

Kerefek76 said:Yeah... this crisis isn't happening because there’s an actual shortage of food, electricity, or gas—it's happening because the elite decided to manufacture a crisis at any cost.

Come autumn, they’ll roll out the vaccinations again, timed perfectly with the economic and energy crises to maximize the impact.

Kerefek76 said:I've already been labeled a COVID "conspiracy theorist" on other threads, but here we go again:
https://www.nti.org/wp-content/uploa...G48VO_JnJupjw8

The drill took place in March 2021. It simulated a biological attack involving monkeypox across two fictional countries. The start of this imaginary pandemic? May 2022.
And what are we seeing now? A monkeypox outbreak, exactly as outlined in the document.

What else does the document predict?
Expected duration—December 2023. 3.6 billion infected, 270 million dead. The real mess hits in 2023.

Download this document right now and watch how things unfold.
And please, spare me the "it's just a conspiracy theory" whining...
You have a document that spells out a monkeypox outbreak occurring at the exact moment it actually happened.

Kerefek76 said:Nothing happens before autumn—because it looks like Xi won't hold his re-election until then, which will cement him as the permanent leader of China following those 2018 law changes (remember, they scrapped the two-term limit).
Once that's done, anything goes, because Xi will have solidified his power enough to be practically untouchable. A conflict over Taiwan likely won't kick off before he secures that seat.
Meanwhile, Russia should be wrapping up its "special operation."
The Ukrainian military is already in shambles, so things could wrap up pretty quickly.
Poland is already eyeing Galicia and Lviv, while Canada is looking toward Transcarpathia and Mukachevo.
I'd go as far as to say Viktor Orbán is prepping for a quick move into Transcarpathia alongside the Poles under the guise of "restoring order" or some similar excuse.
The dismantling of Ukraine seems highly probable.
And in the meantime?
We have a very convenient distraction in the form of monkeypox. So everyone can stop posting Ukrainian flags and start posting monkey icons instead, I guess.

Kerefek76 said:It’s about time everyone starts realizing that nothing happens in a vacuum—especially when it’s being blasted all over the news. There is absolutely no such thing as a random, disconnected event.
The COVID pandemic, the financial crisis, US-China relations trade wars, the war in Ukraine, supply chain collapses, monkeypox, the carbon footprint agenda, the LGBTQ+ agenda, the GMO agenda, 5G/6G tech, electric self-driving cars, the BLM movement, abortion rights, woke culture, ISIS terrorists, and even the school shootings here in America (and most other "random" mass shootings).
You can't look at any one of these things in isolation; you have to look at the entire tapestry to actually grasp the patterns and the true objectives behind them.
The moderators here on the forum make a mistake—whether intentional or not—by strictly limiting discussions to a single topic. For instance, if there's a thread on the Economy, you aren't allowed to talk about the war in Ukraine or the LGBTQ+ agenda, and on a thread about the war in Ukraine, you can't pivot to COVID or the carbon footprint agenda. The mods and the resident agitators constantly shut that down, forcing everything into shallow, narrow conversations. You’ll see it all the time—on economic threads, geopolitics and demographic shifts that directly impact the market are ignored, and the discussion just ends with endless, useless "analyses" from our friend Sh@dow, who tries to pin everything on certain indices, monetary policy, or other trivial economic factors.
Of course, this is done on purpose—sometimes out of pure ignorance—to keep people compartmentalized. The economist stays in his box. The soldier stays in his. The doctor stays in his... and so on.
And it isn't just limited to this forum. It’s systemic throughout the entire education system. People are fed fragmented knowledge about how the world functions. The result is a bunch of know-it-alls who insist on imposing their hyper-limited worldview on everyone else. And thank God, we have plenty of those here on this forum.
Just to give a banal example... telecom experts (5G and whatnot) don't learn a single thing about biology or the electromagnetic nature of a cell tower, while doctors aren't taught anything about technical electromagnetism or how telecommunications actually work. Not even the basics. Absolutely nothing.
The result? Total fog regarding research into how 5G networks (and 4G, and all networks for that matter) affect the human body. Nobody knows anything because you have fanatics on both sides who simply cannot understand the other perspective.

Another example? Professional soldiers and strategists don't learn about economics, while economists don't learn about warfare. And neither group learns about biology, virology, or toxicology. This leads to a complete lack of understanding regarding current events. Everyone looks at COVID, the war in Ukraine, and the trade war with China from a few years back as isolated incidents, or at best, loosely connected ones. In reality, they are tightly linked through cause and effect. And don't even get me started on the seemingly impossible connections to, say, the LGBTQ+ agenda or electric vehicles.

My advice to everyone: start reading everything (not literally, obviously, but pick quality articles). Don't just stick to what interests you. It doesn't even matter if something is blatant propaganda or not. Every piece of information is useful. Stop wasting your time on mindless series and movies, repetitive TV shows, clickbait articles, and silly internet clips. Start watching documentaries on anything, reading professional papers on any subject, and actively following the geopolitical situation across all parts of the globe (roughly speaking, of course).
After a few years of doing that, you'll start to see the connections you once thought were impossible.

Eventually, you’ll just have that moment where everything clicks—you’ll intuitively grasp how the gears actually turn.
That's when people claim they've finally "woken up" and will never "sleep" again.

No, these aren't posts from the Alternative boards; they belong right here on the Economy section 😲 ...and I mean literally through hundreds, if not thousands, of posts (and unfortunately, I can still see your deleted ones). Every single year since roughly 2011, you’ve been predicting the total collapse of the US, falling even deeper into the rabbit hole.

You had a bit of luck throughout most of 2022, mostly because the main board didn't have any active moderation going on—Wand had basically checked out, and I was just sticking to the sub-sub-forums... But once boldcanyon14 stepped in, of course, he cleaned things up and we all agreed on the partial changes. The Economy section isn't going anywhere.
