Does anyone know how I can go about deleting this?

I realize this probably doesn't belong on the main discussion board, but I honestly have no clue where else to put it...😕

I don't think you can actually delete it... You might just have to keep typing, or maybe just make up a random new password and then copy-paste that...

account and scrub the forum databases just because of one single alias?

Like, how long does a job like that even take, or are we talking about some kind of major technical nightmare? 🤣

First off, mods can't even touch user deletions—that's strictly an admin-only thing...

It's not complicated at all. Just a few clicks in the admin CP, and if you aren't moving in slow motion, it shouldn't take more than a minute...😉

It’s not possible; I can't delete them. I technically could, but I'm not supposed to.

So if we aren't supposed to be deleting people, then who exactly wiped out 14,004 users?😕

We're just clearing out accounts with zero posts or maybe just one, specifically those that have been inactive for about six months after registration. It's just a way to tidy up the database and free up usernames when it's clear people aren't using them.

It’s not like we’re forbidden from doing any kind of cleanup. :P

It’s honestly pretty depressing—out of nowhere, 200 people are demanding their accounts be deleted for no real reason. 🙄 Look, why do you even want to wipe your account? If you're just bored, simply stop posting. And if it's an issue with your email address, just update it and call it a day.

I need some assistance. I have completed my registration, but I am unsure of the next steps.

Honestly, just log off gracefully and take a two or three-year hiatus—maybe come back once you feel like you’re actually ready to dive back in...☕
