Adobe Creative Cloud

I was trying to mess around with the CS6 version of Adobe Premiere and thought I’d just grab a trial through Creative Cloud, but for some reason, I can't find Adobe Premiere anywhere in there. 🙂
Any idea how I can actually get my hands on a trial version?

CS6 isn't the same thing as the cloud stuff. Nowadays, they just push the CC versions, which honestly makes sense if you think about it.

I was looking yesterday for an option to just buy a single piece of software as a standalone download, but there’s nothing. The only thing on offer is Adobe Creative Cloud, except they don't even offer student discounts here in the States. You're stuck paying for the whole suite at $95 a month or about $600 a year.
Then you look at retail prices where a single app like AI or Ps runs you around $450 to $500.

Is anyone else here actually subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud? Does the subscription feel like a rip-off to you? Do you even touch all those programs included in the bundle? Is there any kind of loyalty discount when you renew next year? Or do you think it makes more sense to just grab individual software rather than bleeding money for the full package every single year?

So, what's the play here? You looking to use this for work, or just for messing around at home?
