Any ENT recommendations?

I’ve been dealing with some pain in my right ear canal lately—it isn't unbearable, but it's definitely noticeable and feels really tender when I touch it. A few years back, I had strep throat along with an ear infection at the same time, but my doctor just brushed it off as referred pain and didn't really look into the ear itself. I was honestly too cheap to go see a specialist privately back then.

But ever since then, things haven't felt quite right, almost like the canal stays slightly swollen. If any water gets in there, I can't seem to shake it, and sometimes I even get this weird ringing in my ear. It’s started hurting more recently, so I figure it’s finally time to actually get this sorted out.

Does anyone know a good ENT in Washington, D.C., who won't completely break the bank? I totally get that health is worth the investment, but things are just a little tight for me financially right now.

I’d highly recommend Dr. Duška Markov glavaš over at the ENT clinic in Manhattan. I actually had surgery with her recently, and she was absolutely wonderful—she truly goes above and beyond for every single patient she treats. The only real downside is that the waiting list can be pretty long if you're trying to get an appointment, but trust me, she is well worth the wait!

I totally forgot to mention—it’s not actually a private clinic. You just need to get a referral from your primary care physician first.
