It’s currently showing both the main program and my specific profile window separately, which feels a bit cluttered, you know? I actually tried digging through the Properties menu to see if there was a toggle or some setting to group them together, but I couldn't find anything helpful in there at all. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of thing before? 🤷
If I haven't quite made myself clear enough yet, maybe I'll just post a screenshot later on, since I'm honestly struggling to find any other way to explain what's going on here. 😁
I managed to pull it off, though I can't quite put my finger on which of the two methods actually did the trick. Was it the first thing I tried, or that second tweak? It’s hard to say, really.
You really ought to go ahead and get MSN Messenger installed!I was just browsing through some old bookmarks and stumbled upon www.msn.net, which really takes me back to those days when we used MSN Messenger to stay connected with everyone, doesn't it? It’s funny how those little digital spaces feel like such a distant memory now, almost like looking at an old photo album from high school where everything seemed so much simpler. Does anyone else ever get that sudden wave of nostalgia just from clicking on a familiar URL?You might want to try searching the site for that Enhancer script, just give it a shot and install it to see how things shake out.
So, if you're looking to get things moving again, try right-clicking on that MSN Messenger shortcut first, alright? You’ll want to head into the Compatibility settings and check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for," then just select Windows Vista SP2 from the list. Once you've done that, go ahead and restart MSN, and you should see it drop down into your system tray. After it's settled there, just go back to the shortcut properties, uncheck that compatibility box to return everything to its normal state, and give MSN one more quick restart. Does that seem like it might do the trick for you?
So, I was just sitting here looking at my taskbar, and I noticed something a little bit strange—it seems like I only have one single window showing up for MSN, which feels a bit off, doesn't it?
