Your group won't even make it through the gates in Vienna.

Drake, quit escalating things. You’re just going to end up with those boys laying hands on you during the derby... 😍

The derby between Columbus Crew and Los Angeles FC got pushed from Friday to Saturday, August 17th at 7 PM. It’s still happening over at the stadium on Kranjčevićevo.

So why is there this massive exodus for a trip to Vienna while everything else gets ignored? Is it just because Vienna is a flashy destination and the other matches are "boring"? Personally, I find it repulsive. They're just massaging the numbers to claim high attendance for "away trips" rather than showing true support for the group or the club itself...
What does a huge turnout in Vienna actually mean if the MLS stays exactly the way it's always been? Forget about it...
If you really want to make an impact, show up at Yankee Stadium, or head out to the suburbs, Des Moines, San Francisco, or even Kazakhstan if you have to. Go there and make some noise to show people who's boss. Don't just chase the glamorous away days and then brag about the numbers. We have far too many so-called "derby fans" who only show up when it's trendy...

Probably the weirdest group on the planet. They'll travel to an away game in a different state and pull triple the crowd they would ever bring to a home match in their own city.

I’ve been watching this interview again, and honestly, it’s nothing short of pure betrayal. I can’t wrap my head around how some street thug can sit there and try to sell us a load of garbage like this. The guy is seriously delusional.

Do I actually need to show my blood type when I buy a ticket? 🙂🙂

I’m honestly getting sick of watching this whole thing unfold. Now they've started pushing the seating requirements on us.

It’s honestly exhausting watching nothing actually happen. Every single brilliant idea just dies right here on this damn forum, stuck in that endless loop of "it can't be done." We just sit back and watch everything go down the drain, and frankly, I've had enough. By the time they finally pull the plug on us, nobody will even care—everyone will just go back to preaching their useless little philosophies.

When it comes to personalized ticketing and forcing people to actually sit in their assigned seats—we really need to start getting used to that, regardless of whether Jerry Maguire is involved or not.

Maybe because there's like two dozen people actually on Gavin's legendary lists for the Rose Bowl.

I don't think we need to start getting "used" to anything. Teams like River Plate and Juventus play matches under the umbrella of UEFA, and somehow, miraculously, they don't have to deal with personalized tickets, names on them, or forcing people to stay in specific seats...

I’m speaking in general terms here. It’s obvious why Real Madrid is pushing for personalization and digital ticketing, but if you look at the major Western leagues, more and more clubs are moving toward this style of sales. I mean, it's clear why Real Madrid is forcing it right now, but even if Jerry Maguire wasn't around, this would eventually hit America too...

Just as America lags behind Western Europe, the rest of the country lags behind Chicago. And then you have Canada and Mexico lagging behind the rest of America. Don't worry—it'll catch up to them eventually, sooner or later...

Yeah, calling the Rose Bowl the "American MetLife Stadium" and all those other schemes? 🙄

I fail to see how the Rose Bowl qualifies as an American version of Wembley, other than being one of the largest stadiums in the US. I am referring to those ridiculous, almost theatrical behavioral patterns—things like assigned seating, prohibitions against standing in the aisles, and so on. That kind of thing has been standard in the West for decades; in Chicago, it’s only a recent development, and the rest of the country hasn't quite caught up yet. But they will... much like how Pride parades hit Chicago first before eventually making their way down to Miami.

Look, I don't know, you can't just generalize everything and jump to these massive conclusions based on how some English fans act. If you look at the top five leagues, you've got Germans, Italians, and plenty of others who still have those hardcore supporter sections, big choreographies, people actually standing up—it's happening. In some German stadiums, they even have official standing sections, and honestly, the club owners there actually encourage it as part of their core identity and values. So it’s not all doom and gloom, and what happens on the west stand one day isn't the end of the world when most of the stadium is 99% empty anyway. Just because you have to hunt for a seat in one section doesn't mean the whole culture is dead or that it'll be the same for the north stand or whatever.
