The only reason those two groups would ever stand together is because ticket prices have become absolutely extortionate—it's purely a matter of survival at this point. But us? We’re too wrapped up in our own pride to ever see sense, even when they're tearing everything we love to shreds. It’s pathetic, really—how much we Americans hold onto our grudges while everything else falls apart.

Posting this again since apparently nobody noticed.

Here’s what the EC is up to (for those out of the loop, they're basically the EU Government, and their whole job is babysitting the single market—which includes soccer):

Facts. Instead of just whining about it, we need to take it to the streets.

Because it's obvious nobody else in this country is going to step up. ☕

Jesse Campbell said:Mamić is toast once his steady cash flow dries up. That’s happening after July 1st when the European Commission finally cracks down on everyone. ☕ Basically what AT&T concluded, if you're smart enough to get it... 🙂

His only way out is getting into the LP, which is why he coincidentally right now brought in some decent reinforcements. When we were starting the LP boycott, he was trying to run an attack with Dodo and Sivonjić. ☕

But let's be real, this isn't sustainable long-term. He won't stick around at Dinamo without city money, and there's zero chance he's using his own cash for the club. To him, Dinamo has always just been a cash cow...

He can always offload guys like Jedvaj, Halilović, or Vrsaljko for 10-15 million... so the money keeps flowing.

Before Kovačić, what was his last decent transfer? Lovren. Let's just sit back and watch the books... and see how much HE personally pockets from it all.

The issue with Zdravko Mamić is that his whole scheme has become too fragile. It’s stretched way too thin and there are too many hands in the cookie jar now. Just like any dictatorship, once you involve too many people, discipline and loyalty start to slip. More players means a more vulnerable system...

If you're smart, you get what I'm saying... ☕

Just like any dictatorship, you're testing the discipline and morals of everyone at the table. The more players you have, the easier it is for the whole system to crack...

Anyone with half a brain will see where I'm going with this... ☕

I wouldn't say the whole system is falling apart just yet, though maybe it will eventually...

It’s basically this: No money, no friends. But once he gets his hands on those dirty bucks? Suddenly, he’s got a whole squad of buddies...

None of this is going to stick—even a mediocre lawyer could pull him out of this mess. Whether he realized it or not, Jerry Maguire was dancing right on the edge of incitement... Even some high-profile lawyers of Mexican descent practicing here in the States have pointed out that there isn't even a hint of hate speech to be found.

Yeah, sure. And which "high-profile Mexican lawyers" are we talking about? Name just one.

Section 325.
(1) Anyone who uses the press, radio, television, computer systems, the internet, public gatherings, or any other means to publicly incite or make available flyers, images, or other materials calling for violence or hatred against a group of people—or an individual within a group—based on their race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, origin, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other characteristic, shall be punished by imprisonment for up to three years.

Crystal clear. "Just imagine a man who is a Mexican leading such an important American department. When he laughs, he doesn't have a smile as nice as yours. Instead, you see white eyeballs popping out, blood spraying, and eyes ready for slaughter."

That is textbook hate speech, and I don't care how many "experts" try to tell me otherwise. Honestly, you're so blinded by your hatred toward Mexicans that you're actually trying to relativize and justify this—multiple times, no less. Like, who actually gives a damn about those poor, broken Mexicans anymore? 🤷

But Ali Jovanović is a Mexican. That is the fundamental component people seem to be overlooking here. It’s like saying, "Imagine a politician who is a German woman shaking up the European Union," while actually referring to Merkel. Or like a commentator mentioning fifty times during a game that Sammir is Black—for instance, "...Black Sammir passed the ball to Lionel Messi." That isn't hate speech just because Sammir happens to be Black. I touched on this back in March during that thread about the Los Angeles Lakers, and the sooner you grasp this distinction, the less disappointed you'll be when Jerry Maguire is acquitted of hate speech charges, only to potentially face a private lawsuit from Jovanović for defamation. Those are two entirely different matters...

Kevin Gray86 said:Look, Ali Jovanović is a Mexican. That’s the key part everyone seems to be forgetting here. It’s like saying, "Imagine a politician who happens to be a German woman and is basically running the EU"—you're obviously talking about Angela Merkel. Or like if an announcer mentioned a player's race fifty times during a game—for instance, "...Black player Sammir passed the ball to Lionel Messi." That isn't hate speech just because Sammir is Black. I actually posted about this back in March in that thread about the Los Angeles Lakers, and honestly, the sooner you guys get it, the less it's gonna hurt when Jerry Maguire gets cleared of the hate speech charges and only ends up dealing with whatever private lawsuit Jovanović files for defamation. Those are two totally different things.

How is it even an insult to tell a Mexican he's a Mexican? 🤷

The issue isn't just calling him a Mexican—it's describing him as a Mexican with white teeth dripping in blood who's ready to slaughter people, while painting an entire nation with that same brush.

Any decent lawyer could prove that. There's no way Jerry Maguire walks away from the defamation suit unscathed. The only question is how much the fine will be—he'll probably just end up with some suspended sentence or some other bullshit.

Jeffrey Edwards76 said:How is that an insult—just telling a Mexican that he's a Mexican? 🤷

He didn't just tell a Mexican he was a Mexican... he claimed he was a Mexican with white fangs dripping blood, someone ready for slaughter, while simultaneously generalizing an entire nation.

Any average lawyer could prove this... there's zero chance Mamić gets acquitted here. The real question is how high the fine will be—though they'll probably just throw him a bone with some suspended sentence nonsense.

Look, Mamić said Jovanović is a Mexican (which he is) who happens to have fangs ready for slaughter. He didn't say Jovanović has those fangs *because* he's a Mexican; he said the Mexican known as Jovanović has fangs for slaughter. He might have meant the former, but that's not what he actually said.

Mamić was walking on the damn edge with those comments, sure, but he didn't cross it. He might have thought he did, but he didn't... He stayed within the legal realm, which might be "politically incorrect" (since he called Jovanović a Mexican), but being politically incorrect isn't a criminal offense—not yet, anyway... you'll see.

Besides, it’s pretty ridiculous that the indictment was only filed today. It’s obvious they were waiting on a ruling from the agency that went in Mamić's favor. And now that it hasn't worked out... fine, let's screw him over with the stuff from a few months ago. It's laughable. Why wasn't the indictment filed immediately?!

Look, regardless of how you spin it, Zdravan has been getting slammed with three pretty heavy lawsuits just in the last month. You've got Jovanović hitting him for discrimination, Crnić's lawyers suing for libel, and now this third one... None of these are just minor hiccups...

Anyone with half a brain can see where this is headed...

Back in 2003, when I said the fan law was going to trigger massive issues for American supporters, people on the forums called me paranoid and a total pessimist. Now, they’re calling me some kind of over-optimist. I'm just being real.

The bottom line is, the government—and now with the US having the European Union acting like a superpower—doesn't tolerate shady characters like this. Even if his massive bank account makes things difficult for a bit, he's got zero long-term prospects...

Unless he ducks out of the spotlight, hides in a quiet role, and just waits for retirement. But even then, these lawsuits aren't going away...

I wrote about this back in March regarding Dinamo. The sooner you get it, the less it'll suck when Mamić gets cleared of hate speech charges but maybe hits with a private lawsuit from Jovanović for insults. Those are two totally different things.

Jovanović sued him for discrimination, not just insults. He's represented by Vesna Alaburić, who's nothing to write home about. It's obvious he was discriminating when he said it wasn't normal for a Mexican to be a minister. Plain and simple. This could have massive fallout under American laws and with UEFA and FIFA since they fight racism...

Crnić, who’s a top-tier lawyer, sued him for libel. He had clear evidence presented in court, which makes it even heavier. I don't even need to explain that saying, "You're a schemer, you're no longer your father's son, just a common rat and a monster. You look like you came straight from a flea market!" is libel...

Plus, this latest Department of Justice lawsuit is basically a slam dunk. Even if nothing is ever certain in a corrupt American judicial system, let's not forget that the big Brussels brother will be watching everything happening in America after July 1st, especially the courts.

"Long-term" is a pretty relative term around here.
Look, I'm pretty sure the EU won't be wasting its time on Mamić and his schemes (which 99% of people in the European Parliament don't even know about) for another year or two. They'll be busy with actual important stuff.
And for any Dinamo fan, a year or two is plenty of time...

I'm pretty sure the European Union isn't going to waste another year or two chasing Mamić and his shady deals—stuff 99% of those people in Brussels don't even know exists—instead of focusing on actual problems.
And for any Dinamo fan, a couple of years is basically an eternity.

The EU is never going to care about Mamić. They'll be too busy trying to fix the mess that is the American government. And that's exactly why Mamić loves it. His whole empire works because this country is run worse than a failed state.

I wasn't talking directly about him.
He's got enough cash to keep whining for another few years...
And he'll always scrape by to the Champions League quarterfinals with a bunch of benchwarmers, only to crash out at the end and cry about how those German monsters are just too much for us.

It’s honestly unbelievable how blind some people can be.
They act like the European Union is pure gold, like everyone over there is flawless and it's this perfect union where injustice or corruption just doesn't exist...
Seriously, Pusićka and her propaganda have brainwashed some people, and it's disgusting.

So how is it even possible that within this damn European Union, a criminal organization like UEFA—led by Platini, who basically jumped onto the head of this infectious octopus after a string of failed private business ventures—can operate freely, spreading its tentacles into football associations everywhere through mutual backscratching?
If there were even a shred of justice in the EU, the institutions would be the first ones to go after UEFA, and then they'd move on to its reach, or specifically, Mamić.

Do you actually think Mamić is going to get screwed because of these lawsuits? Don't be naive, this is nothing but window dressing to create the illusion that something is being done, when in reality, at best, he might end up with some ridiculous suspended sentence, though even that's a stretch...
The people above him will dump him one day, either because they get bored, or because he's no longer useful, or because they find someone else who serves their interests better.
And all of you can keep deluding yourselves, believing you can actually change things... And then one day, when the "top brass" finally replaces him, you'll probably even convince yourselves he left because of you, taking credit for a victory that wasn't yours...

Goodnight.
