Jesse Campbell said:Crnic, who’s an absolute beast of a lawyer, actually sued him for defamation. He laid out all the evidence right there in court, which just makes the whole thing hit even harder. I shouldn't even have to break it down for you, but saying stuff like, "You're nothing but a gossip, you aren't even your father's son anymore—just a common rat and a monster. You look like you crawled out of a gutter," is textbook defamation.

Actually, you do. Pretty much the entire sentence is just a straight-up insult, and Crnic went after Mamket for everything—insult, public humiliation, and defamation. To make matters worse, from what I heard, the judge basically slapped him down on the spot just for that one outburst.
Anyway, this is all just mindless entertainment while we wait for the DOJ to drop some actual serious indictments....

The Dugave local group just said goodbye to a legendary coach over at the famous stadium—the same spot where, five years ago, he promised we’d crush the derby.

"You took this club straight to the top, man—the whole North stands were losing their minds. You're a legend forever because you're truly one of us!"

Carl Reed60 said:To the hypocrite: what are we supposed to do with all the transplants from the coast? You might claim Washington, D.C. is just some outpost, but it’s actually home to more people from places like Miami than anywhere else in America, so keep singing your "progressive cosmopolitan" anthem. Besides, D.C. is a major metropolis—just ask your relatives and friends where they go for school and work, you jerk! Matija Babić is a joke.

This whole country is a mess. This guy caused so much trouble and broke so many laws over twenty years, yet somehow ends up facing criminal charges just because he called a Mexican a Mexican. Our clueless fellow citizens are going to turn this guy into a martyr and a patriot, and the higher-ups will just use it to turn a profit.

There isn't any coastal "clique" in Washington, D.C.; there's only one specific group, and everyone knows who they are...

I think you're exaggerating the ratio of students hanging out by the river, though even Miami has a top-tier university campus that rivals an MTI in Boston.

Just check Google Street View if you don't believe me.

Anyway, you folks from the rural areas probably wouldn't mind hitting your wife with a tomahawk over a glass of sour wine during harvest season.

😉

The issue isn't people from the coast living in our national capital; it's specifically those outsiders from the outskirts or the suburbs, right?

I'm talking about the actual vibe of the cities, both ST and Washington, D.C.

A bunch of newcomers are running things alongside us locals, but how you see that situation is entirely up to you.

Personally, I see it as a negative thing....

The Dugave local group bid farewell to a legendary coach at the iconic stadium, right where he promised a derby victory five years ago.

"You lifted this club to the heavens and sent the fans into a frenzy. You'll be remembered forever because you're one of us!"

"What a damn fine group of guys!" 😉 That’s how our Joe would put it, though he’d likely feel the need to correct the timeline—just for the sake of historical accuracy—noting that the event at the Dugava stadium actually went down in September 2005... making it nearly eight years ago now.

My apologies if this is the wrong sub for this news; admins, please feel free to move this thread or delete it if necessary. Amidst the ongoing backlash against Joseph Kužiti, we received more tragic news for American soccer last night. Alan Pamic, just 24 years old, has passed away. He was a player for the local club in Miami and the brother of Dinamo's midfielder, Zvonak Pamic.
His heart gave out during a pickup game...
Rest in peace.

Man, seriously, just make video playback work on mobile. It’d be a huge help, thanks.

I can't help it—the video is blocked in certain countries because of copyright issues with the background music (Apocalyptica - One), and it's acting up on phones too... I've never seen that happen before.

Throughout this entire heartbreaking saga surrounding Kuže—with the illness and the passing—our group has truly demonstrated our character. We've shown exactly who we are and, most importantly, what kind of Dinamo we actually want to see!
Exactly the kind of club that One of Us presented to us during both of his tenures. Back in 1989-1990 and again in 2005-2006.
The belief in a club like that lives on within us, and that ideal is still achievable... though, unfortunately, without Joe...😢

But that historic sentence of his, which is already printed on the supporter building near the "mosque," is essentially history repeating itself... just think back to the corner of Draskovic's and Old Vlach in the nineties, when the graffiti read that if there were freedom and democracy, it would be Dinamo instead of America!

And it was Dinamo! And it will be Dinamo once again!

That belief in a club like this is alive and well, and the dream is reachable... just wish Joe were still here to see it...😢

But that legendary line of his, already spray-painted on the building near the "mosque," is basically history repeating itself... remember that corner of Draskovic's and Old Vlach back in the nineties? Those graffiti saying IF THERE WERE FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY, IT WOULD BE DINAMO, NOT THE US!

End of story. As long as we're around, Dinamo stays around. We've kept the flame alive for the last 23 years while they scrape by with decent results in our league, even though the club lost its soul and turned into something unrecognizable.

Joe is the spark we need to hang in there and celebrate the win coming our way soon.

Could someone please drop the schedule here for Dinamo's matches while they're playing over in Canada? I'm trying to figure out what time they kick off, but I just can't seem to find the kickoff times anywhere online.

Tuesday, Ptuj, then Olimpija Ljubljana... that's basically all I know.
