Here’s something for you two night owls coming at you from the North.

NK Dinamo - Red Star 1:0 ; 1989.

If those cargo shipments from Brod City are supposedly so massive, powerful, and overwhelming, then why haven't they bothered to hang a single rag on the fence? It’s been three years now, and you won't see anything from Zupane, Djako, or Brod hanging there. If they actually decided to show up at the games, the whole situation would be over in a month, much like how things went down in Vukovar. That’s just common sense, assuming anyone in Brod City actually possesses any.

Son, even those massive, powerful cruisers—those heavy warships... sometimes at night, they can feel like nothing more than tiny, fragile little paper boats.

And another thing—ships are definitely safer when they're tucked away in their harbors, anchored and all... but that’s certainly not what they were built for. Don't get me wrong though.

Nice work. Got any more old gems like this to share? (Was that Filati guy from Velika Gorica also in that "Vatrene Ulice" band? .. ).

Just stumbled upon this photo while scrolling through my feed—does anyone actually recognize which game this is from?

With about 75 percent certainty,... I'm thinking it was Red Star.

For anyone who still has their doubts...

Tomorrow, our Dynamo continues the fight for the championship title.
It’s another chance for us to show these guys we've got their backs,
and that starts with the little things—grabbing a ticket or joining the club.

A huge thanks to the Hercegovac crew for a killer weekend; we really recharged our batteries
after that tough loss against Makarska, and now it's time to hunt down a strong spring season for Dynamo.

I'll see you all tomorrow in massive numbers at the Sports Center to show everyone
who the true protectors of the city's pride really are!

Was it Red Star on May 13th, or was it that other year when things went south?

Earlier, whichever one you choose... if I recall correctly... (there was even some talk about them trying to push into the North much sooner...). Come on, hit me with more if you have any... were those photos from Frflja?

I can't see the image you linked! You gotta upload the actual text or description if you want me to work my magic. Throw the content my way and I'll get to rewriting it exactly how you wanted—keeping that blunt, long-winded, "tell-it-like-it-is" vibe while making sure everything sounds like it’s happening right here in the States. Ready when you are!

I think that was back in '89 when we ran into the Partisans. Those guys were dropped off right in front of the restaurant at the park entrance. We were all gearing up, getting ready to make a move, but the cops were already there—standing right in front of us, blocking the park gates and circling them like they were expecting a riot. It mostly ended up being a lot of shouting and posturing against the police. I still remember, just before things kicked off, Henry Hayes4 actually borrowed a bike from some random passerby and was zooming around the Partisans like he was running recon for us.

Kyle Davis2 said:That photo from the stadium was taken on Wednesday, April 25, 1990. That game actually got called off because someone in the stands hit the ref in the head with something. It was originally recorded as a 3-0 win for Dynamo, but they overturned that decision later—probably due to the riots against Red Star—so they had to replay the match in Sarajevo that summer. As for the shot from Poljud, that wasn't a cup match; it was a league game from May 30, 1993. Give those photos a scan when you get a chance.

You're right about that. It was definitely a league game. I was there...

Something just crossed my mind, and I wanted to ask the crowd here... does anyone recall if the Partisans actually marched the Black Flags through the East? If I remember correctly, that was where we were all settled at the time...

Henry Hayes4 said:I believe that was during the Partisans game back in '89. The rival fans were stationed right by the restaurant near the entrance to Central Park. We were trying to build up some momentum, but there was a heavy police presence blocking us, with the park gates shut tight and officers patrolling the perimeter... so it mostly just turned into a lot of shoving. I remember before we even made a move, Hasan borrowed a bike from someone passing by and rode circles around their crowd like he was scouting them out...

So, you think that’s when it happened... when those fans were gathered by the restaurant in front of Central Park, just before the zoo, and they allegedly started throwing ashtrays, bottles, and rocks at our side? Apparently, they were led by Pampi... though some people tend to mythologize it, making it sound like they actually launched a counterattack... Our side really struggled because those park entrance gates were way too narrow to handle a crowd that size without causing a stampede. If those gates had been wide open, a single gust of wind—or a real surge of people—would have swept them right through... Is it possible the police actually routed them through the East side right then?...

And apparently, they were led by Pampi? (The hardcore fans even record stuff like that... acting like they pulled off some massive counter-attack...) Our side really screwed up because those entrance gates to the park were way too narrow for a crowd that big to push through without causing a total stampede. I mean, if the main gates had been wide open, a single strong gust—or just a surge of people—would've crushed them like a hurricane. Is it possible the cops actually routed them through the East side during that game?

I’m pretty much positive that photo is from that moment. They weren't even trying to charge; they were just crowded up against the restaurant and eventually started tossing whatever was on the tables. Yeah, the big gates were shut tight—you could squeeze through the small ones, but you knew damn well the cops would bust your head for it. As for whether that was the same game where they marched them through the East side? Not entirely sure, but hey, it’s definitely possible.

Here we go again—another preview laying out what looks like a grueling mid-season stretch for the Bad Boys, though honestly, at this point, it’s hardly a shock to anyone.

But hey, there's no turning back now; we just have to keep pushing forward.

I finally sat down to watch ZG80 yesterday. Honestly? It’s absolute garbage. It’s this uninspired, ridiculous attempt at blending real people and actual statements with fiction so incredibly banal and stupid that I actually felt embarrassed for the creative team. We're talking constant fart jokes, swearing, and half-finished sentences that go nowhere. They take real-life figures and events and push them into such absurd territory, all while blatantly and poorly ripping off scenes and action soundtracks from Underground Warrior. Look, I can stomach just about anything if it’s centered around sports culture, but this was genuinely unwatchable and pathetic.

They even left the door open at the end for a sequel centered around May 13th. If they think they're going to approach it like this again, they might as well just stay home.

That photo from -ekeGlava- is definitely from the partisans, and they actually marched them right through the East back in '89. (Someone gave me the exact date once, but it slipped my mind...) A local supporter told me he was absolutely terrified back then—nearly lost it—just seeing how they were jumping over the Bad Boys... those little fences didn't stop them one bit...

John Martin18 said:The Bad Boys were there back in '89, for sure. I'm telling you—they were parked right by that diner out near Max’s woods. It’s a fact.👍

Well, hey, I'm just glad to see at least one other gray cell in this thread is still firing on all cylinders.😁

I personally 👍 No, my brain is absolutely fried right now... I can barely hold onto a single thought, let alone all this data. I'm just a human being, not some supercomputer or a high-tech processor... (you know I have no problem admitting when I've lost the plot...). Back then, they were being moved through the East Coast. And according to the records, Pam was reportedly active until she was 87...
