It was a good era for fans—I was just starting to get into the whole supporter scene back then, and I remember being completely struck by those Bad Boys roaming our streets👍—and honestly, I don't think ruggedridge47 will ever be that intense or driven again. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I suspect those days are gone for good. It isn't just about people losing interest in soccer or Dinamo specifically; it’s more about the crackdown from the authorities. It basically suffocates any kid who might have actually wanted to stick around for the long haul. Once they get treated harshly for ten games or so, they just lose heart and move on. We didn't have that problem back then. There were so many people who weren't even die-hard BBB members, yet they were ready to jump into a street fight at any hour of the day or night. It's a shame we didn't see the rival fans storm the city back then; I suspect they would have been dismantled in ten minutes flat. Different times, different rules of engagement. Repression takes its toll, though I suppose only an idiot wouldn't see that—it's almost unthinkable today. There used to be a massive presence of skinheads, and now, I find myself one of the few guys left with a shaved head. The group isn't what they used to be. 😁 To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how it happened—how the shaved heads just drifted away from the core circle? It remains an enigma to me. Back then, there was this sense of discipline, almost military-like, which felt incredibly cool. The ruggedridge47 crew functioned like an elite special forces unit, but lately, that edge seems to have vanished; we aren't as fast or efficient as we once were. I truly believe that training, discipline, and a Spartan-like order are the only things that save a movement. 👏
