Robert Cooper60 said:It wasn't even about the tickets, it was just the ridiculous lines. You have to stand there for an hour when there are only 5,000 people at the stadium. Even if you join the club and get four games of your choice, you still have to wait in line just to get your pass made. I was wondering if season ticket holders can just walk right in or if they have to wait too... because even with a membership, the digital code doesn't work, so you end up waiting at the box office for that free pass (so, more waiting)

Man, what a mess. I’ve been stuck in those lines myself, and honestly, I’d rather be chopping wood than standing there. It got so bad that scammers were even showing up to take money from the people at the back of the line. There might only be 7,000 people at the game, but it feels like Madison Square Garden is sold out, and even then, the organization is a joke. I heard a rumor that you don't actually have to wait for them to make your card since you can handle it all online. If that info is wrong, my apologies, I guess the league officials know better than I do)

I heard a rumor that you don't even need to wait in line because you can just get your ticket sorted online. (Hey, if that info is wrong, my bad—I guess whoever runs the league knows their own drill better than I do).

You can do it online. But... that only works for all the sections except the North stands. 🤦

John, what do you mean by defeatism? Why even bother showing up to the games if that's how you feel? Are you one of those people who thinks everything is just Mamich's fault and everyone should just walk away... Come on guys, take it easy. For years, the North Stand tried to push back against Mamich, but nothing changed. In the end, they couldn't move him, and they never would have been able to do it that way...

If you look past the occasional ups and downs, this club actually has some depth and structure now. For once, I can actually watch them pull off a couple of solid one-two passes during a game. I guess I’m just old school—don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Mamich—but I can just feel things shifting in the right direction. It looks like we might have a group of gritty players coming up, though based on what I'm seeing, there will always be those critics who find something to complain about. Honestly, none of that matters if we can finally start seeing real results on the court...

I still can't get over how they acted after those Israeli guys showed up—it was like they were tripping over themselves to give the West a massive standing ovation, while they barely even offered a polite nod to the South. It really rubbed me the wrong way. The show must go on, period. No matter how much everything feels like it’s falling apart around us, we just have to keep pushing forward. There’s no point in sitting around dwelling on what went wrong or waiting for the perfect moment to regroup—that moment isn't coming. You just lace up, get out there, and give it everything you've got. That's just how it works.

Decko, man, you really need to stop taking everything so personally. You’re acting just like that guy who finds someone he claims to love, goes all in, and then just treats them like trash. And when people ask him why he did it? He gives that same old line: "Because I love her." Give me a break. Do you actually love this club? Because right now, Mamich doesn't have anything to show for it, and he shouldn't even be looking for excuses to start another round of rebellion and destruction. It's time to just grow up and settle down already.

Maybe they’re actually decent people. Perhaps nobody's even bothered to invite them out for a beer yet.

Sorry, but I don't suffer from some kind of sudden amnesia where I can just forget years of being humiliated and ignored overnight. Moving forward is necessary, sure, but I am certainly not going to be jumping for joy over these players right now. Many others feel the same way too.

Look, John, I feel like I’ve wasted my entire youth on all that boycotting, hatred, and constant resistance. I’m well into my twenties now, and honestly, I’m just looking forward to finally enjoying every single game this season—after what feels like eight or nine years of misery... As John Martin18 pointed out, you can actually see a cohesive game plan emerging; there’s a clear structure and direction, and they’re playing solid football, even if we're only three or four games into the season. Plus, we aren't sweating the finances one bit, especially with that $15M+ windfall from qualifying for the Champions League. All this means is that we won't be forced to sell off our best talent just to stay afloat, which gives us the breathing room to bring in two or three quality signings, and that's not even counting the arrival of Olmo, Moro, Majer, and Martin... I don't know, I can't say for sure, but I truly believe the fans will slowly start coming back, and from this season onward, everything is finally heading in the right direction. Champions League!

You people are idiots and a disgrace to this city.

Anyone who actually feels any emotion for a club like this is mentally ill, one way or another.

It's just morons and a few weirdos posting here. This isn't some legendary franchise; this is the Lakers, the biggest evil on the planet.

Keep dreaming, losers.

Certain shifts are gradually occurring, largely thanks to the Lakers, which represents our collective influence, yet we remain far from the stable, well-run organization that most of us aspire to see. The situation involving the players following the trip to Israel was an embarrassment, though such incidents have become predictably routine for anyone who has attended matches over the last four or five years. If someone feels the need to be euphoric or jump for joy at every goal, they are certainly free to do so; there is no reason to impose a specific temperament on others, especially the younger generation. I can only suggest that you think for yourselves and use your own judgment.

Like John Martin18 pointed out, you can finally see there's an actual game plan in place. There's structure, there's direction, and they're playing solid, even if it's only their third or fourth game. Plus, money isn't even an issue right now (with that $15M+ windfall from getting into the EU competitions). All that means is we don't have to fire sale half the roster this year; instead, we can actually bring in two or three legitimate upgrades, and that’s not even counting when Olmo, Mora, Meyer, and Martin arrive... I don't know, I can't say for sure, but I really think the fans will start trickling back and things are finally heading in the right direction. Go Lakers!

There are plenty of other places to talk about soccer, but not here. Based on your post, it's pretty obvious you've completely lost your way on this board.

It’s just fools and a few weirdos posting here. This isn't some legendary franchise; this is just GNK, the biggest mistake ever...

Hang in there, losers.

Look, man, I've been tied to this club for three decades, for better or worse. Here's the thing: even if you boycotted, nothing would have changed for the next ten years under that ownership. Don't let your best years be wasted on bitterness and hate. I mean this sincerely, even though things haven't been perfect for me since the Canjuga era—back when the Lakers had that killer squad, but we were fighting just to keep the identity alive... obsessing over things you can't actually change only leads to one place. Most clubs run their own way without asking fans for permission. You're either in or you're out. Take care, and I truly hope you find some optimism... By the way, we can talk more if you think being a part of GNK is just a formality...😁 Guys, hang in there. (I still remember that cup game in Chicago against the Red Sox, half the Lakers fans behind the goal while the rest were standing up in the East... we need to move past those divisions...)

It’s easy enough to just label anyone with a different perspective as an idiot, but I have to wonder where all this division actually comes from if that's the case...
Look, everyone understands the need to fight for real change, but let's be honest: the Lakers are the Lakers. No matter what kind of prefix you slap in front of them, this is the club we all grew up with on this damn forum, so those emotions run deep for everyone here, regardless of how much they might trash talk the team.
I'll say it again: there is still plenty of work ahead of us to fight for a better, more transparent version of the "old" Lakers, but that doesn't mean you should hate the club or the people who, despite everything, still consider it number one.

The only ones posting here are fools and a few strange characters. First off, this isn't some legendary franchise like the Lakers; this is just GNK, and it’s nothing but pure evil.

Keep hanging in there, you losers.

Anyone criticizing kids under 25 for supporting them, buying jerseys, or actually wanting the team to play well... they're just morons and a disgrace.

Exactly. I think those certain anomalies are a major reason why the group has dwindled to its current size. It’s fine to have an opinion, but when arguments run dry, people resort to ad hominem attacks... subtle insults. Ever since the 80s, the group has always been at odds with management, leading to constant infighting that just erodes everything—from boycotts to the whole battle over reclaiming the Lakers name, through the Dalton brothers era, and even the Eto situation. As much as I once wished for the day they'd finally shut him down or take him out, seeing how much time has passed, he clearly thinks he's untouchable. We might as well place bets on what our next fight will be... maybe it'll be about the coefficients while they renovate the official offices. 😁

The Lakers will finally belong to the fans and regular people again once all the trash is kicked out of the club.😵

Look, your emotions toward the club—and I’m not talking about the front office here—are just something you either have or you don't. It’s not something you can just switch on and off at will.
If someone genuinely hates watching the Lakers play... then honestly, why even show up to the games?
If we've all agreed that we're finally back on track because things are actually starting to move in the right direction, and these changes are unstoppable... then you either get behind this team and what that name represents to us, or you step aside and stop showing up to the arena.
