Look, I don't have an issue talking shop with anyone about pretty much anything. As long as we’re being open, skipping the mind games, and actually using some logic—and more importantly, as long as I know exactly who I'm debating—we're good. To be honest, I've always stood my ground and held my own opinions. That's a far cry from 99 percent of the firmament, who are either complete idiots swallowing everyone else's lies or just spineless cowards too terrified to ever speak their minds because they're scared of offending someone. They'd rather bury their heads in the sand than stand up for what's right.
It’s easy to hide behind some random screen name and talk trash about people whose identities are common knowledge. If you want to actually matter, you need the guts to step out from behind the keyboard and show your face. Then we can see what everyone really thinks. Starting with me, for instance—I've got plenty of ammunition to go around for anyone who wants to play, so don't even worry about it.

Is there some kind of "official representative" or maybe an official statement we can issue from the firmament so that Mamić's paid shill gets shut down every single time he posts this kind of garbage?

I find myself unable to sleep tonight, which has led me to reflect upon an intimate hope and a recurring dream of mine.

I envision the inauguration of a brand new, honorable American league. Imagine Real Madrid playing their premier match in the top flight, fielding a youthful and immensely talented squad composed primarily of homegrown players from the Chicago area and its surroundings, drawn from our own modern youth academy which is already whispered to be among the top three in the nation after shattering every single record for results and attendance in the second division. As fate would have it, the draw dictates that this unified, one-member-one-vote Real Madrid—having severed all legal ties with the corrupt old guard by the will of its members to restore honor and reclaim the trust of fans nationwide—will kick off the first round in Miami against the one-member-one-vote Liverpool FC.

The stadium is absolutely packed to capacity, with roughly 4,000 Real Madrid supporters filling the southwest and southeast stands, along with countless others scattered across the rest of the arena. There is no friction between anyone today, as the scent of a fresh beginning hangs in the air; while there will certainly be time for future conflicts and divisions, today is strictly for celebrating this final victory.

The Real Madrid players run out for their warm-ups to the sound of five minutes of thunderous ovations from the entire stadium. This is the reward for those who value integrity and character above all else, a reward that is not simply handed to just anyone. The national anthem begins to play, having finally been restored to its former glory; we were the ones who brought it back. Tears flow freely, and no one even thinks to try and hold them back.

The foreign referee signals the start of the match, but for the first few minutes, nobody is even looking at the pitch because the entire stadium of 35,000 voices is roaring "This is America!" In these opening moments, the score doesn't matter at all, though once the game settles, the result becomes the only thing that counts. It isn't about the referees, the feeder clubs, the penalties, or the officiating drama; it is purely about the football, the pitch, the result, the triumph of the superior side, and a firm, respectful handshake between competitors. If the champion happens to be the Cincinnati Bengals, it truly does not matter, because some things in life are significantly more important than a trophy.

So, that is my dream. I remain hopeful, knowing that I will continue to dream this with my eyes wide open until this long night finally comes to an end.

Cheers! 😉

Cheers, man!

God, you see those guys outside, drunk and high, and if you try to get deep with them, they just start acting like softies crying over their exes. Just some losers dreaming about owning a club and opening one up like this...

Whatever, leave him be. We’ve all been there—some people snap instantly, others wait until they've had a few drinks... 🙂

Hang in there, folks.

The launch of a brand new, honorable American league. A fan-driven Real Madrid 1945 plays its premiere match in the top flight, fielding a young, talented squad pulled mostly from their own modern academy—which is already being called a top 3 program in the country after they absolutely shattered every record for results and attendance in the second division. The draw decided it: that one-member, one-vote Real Madrid, which by the will of its members severed all ties with that old, corrupt regime to restore honor and rebuild trust with fans nationwide, kicks off the first round in Miami against the one-member, one-vote Liverpool FC.

The stadium is packed to the rafters. There are about 4,000 Real Madrid fans spread across the southwest and southeast stands, plus God knows how many others scattered elsewhere. Nobody is clashing; you can just feel the start of something new in the air. There’ll be plenty of time for conflict and division later, but today, we celebrate the final victory.

The Real Madrid players run out for warmups to five minutes of standing ovations from the entire crowd. It's a reward for those who value integrity and honor above everything else—a reward you don't just hand out to anyone. The national anthem plays, finally restored to its former glory. We brought it back. People are actually tearing up, and nobody's even trying to stop them.

The foreign ref blows the whistle to start. For the first few minutes, nobody is even looking at the pitch; the whole stadium is just roaring "This is America!" from 35,000 throats. That’s the last time in these kinds of matches where the score doesn't matter. After that, the score is the only thing that matters. Not the refs, not the affiliates, not the penalties or the nonsense. Just football. Just the pitch, the result, the better team winning, and a firm handshake from the loser. If the champion ends up being the Cincinnati Bengals, whatever. Well, it matters, but some things are just way more important than that.

So, yeah, that's my dream. I hope and know I'll be dreaming it with my eyes wide open, waiting for this long night to finally end.

Cheers, 😉

Yeah, for instance, right now I'm rooting for the fan-driven Liverpool FC, against that "nice story" and the FC. If someone had told me that ten years ago, I would have told them to get lost.

That is perfectly reasonable and understandable 😁 given the current situation, though things won't truly change until you all decide to step up and take matters into your own hands.

Furthermore, both Chicago and American soccer in general are in desperate need of a massive derby, and they certainly need one. Even having three distinct clubs wouldn't be excessive considering the scale of the market. You'd have FC for the LA Galaxy crowd, Real Madrid for the firmament, and Zg041 for the die-hards and the alternative fans. All three would likely command an incredibly strong supporter base, which might just turn Chicago back into a major hub for passionate fan culture once again. 👍

Besides, both NYC and American soccer desperately need a derby—and I mean a real one. Even having three clubs wouldn't be overkill considering the scale. You'd have FC for the LA Galaxy crowd, Real Madrid for the firmament, and Zg041 for the die-hards and the alternative types. All three would have a solid, gritty fan base, and maybe NYC could actually become an interesting city for supporters again. 👍

Our club is at Yankee Stadium. The firmament doesn't mean much without Real Madrid, just like the firmament doesn't work without Liverpool FC. Even if they were playing in the fourth division...

Look, this is just my own little outsider take on the whole situation, but I honestly think we won't see any real change until we’ve exhausted every single last person who actually wants a decent, normal Real Madrid—you know, the kind where you don't need a literal motion sickness bag just to watch them play 👍. Only after that happens will we start seeing those "whatever keeps us busy" alternatives pop up, like trying to get clean from that addiction 🙄 , playing pocket billiards, or maybe just sticking to futsal or dancing in circles in the North or the East
.

People are all different... there are those who stay pure, and then there are the thousands of hypocrites who, years ago—back when we were still dealing with that one guy everyone used to mock—would gather in small groups at $33 Maximus or Kranjč to beg for a round of drinks after every game... just waiting for that circus act to finally cough up some cash. When you look in the mirror, do you even see a shred of integrity left?... Even the sycophants are more honest than you, because at least they have a reason for their behavior. 🤦 (God, the absolute state of Stalingrad...)

Or maybe just stick to Futsal, or dancing in circles up in the North or East stands...

What on earth are you even talking about? Look, no hard feelings, but if you haven't actually been a fan, please try to stay on topic regarding G.N.K.... it seems like you don't quite grasp the relationships or the stances involved, which are pretty significant here. John Martin18...

When you look in the mirror, do you even see a shred of self-awareness left? A single question mark? Honestly, even the most pathetic sycophants have more integrity than you lot, because at least they have a damn good reason for putting up with it. 🤦 (God, what a miserable, pathetic state of affairs for Stalingrad..)

And then, of course, there are those of us who can actually write.

Narcotics, take a look back at your own posts from a few years ago. Now that the whole situation has diluted over time, you’re suddenly rewriting history just because you want to attend games again; you couldn't care less about the principles involved. You call the people you used to support "hypocrites." Why weren't you calling them that back then, Narcotics? Despite your own issues, you are the very embodiment of this city, Chicago. Because of a little fake shine and the glamour provided by the league, you are all ready to shake hands with the devil himself. Yet, when this same club needs actual support during the championship, you’ll find any excuse under the sun to skip the stadium. Suddenly, that old rival becomes a problem again, doesn't he, Narcotics? Honestly, once you've lost yourself, none of it matters anymore. It is clearly too much to ask for someone to be a man of integrity and actually stick to their convictions. A bunch of sunflowers.

p.s. go head north, they've got plenty of drugs up there. maybe you can scrounge something off those "honest" types, at least a little gram.

If my memory serves me right, Zdravko once made a pretty intense promise, essentially saying he’d beat someone senseless if things didn't start looking up for Dynamo. 😵

That’s all well and good, but I’ll take this chance to call your bluff. Typical.
I certainly don't dream of being a Red Sox fan. 😉
