Look, my friend, I think you might have taken a bit too much liberty with this whole theory regarding those groups... they don't actually follow the regional leagues. This was the EuroLeague level we were talking about. If memory serves me correctly, they follow that circuit quite closely—remembering how tragic it was when that individual was killed in Turkey right at a basketball game? Besides, we really should have expected a setback given how our guys performed against them in Greece just a few months back. At the end of the day, we simply dropped the ball, and that’s that. We won't let it happen again next time. ALL IN FOR SAN FRANCISCO

Sometimes I find myself dwelling on those heavy moments from Athens or back when things went south in Chicago during those clashes with the Yankees fans... It’s hard to shake the weight of our history, the intensity of the rivalries, the tension between the two major hubs, May 13th, and all the missed opportunities for matchups since the war ended, not to mention the chaos of last year...
I honestly don't know how you all haven't burned out yet. You'd think that crew from Athens would have just shuttered the group once they got back home and caught their breath... it's unsettling. As far as I'm concerned, the Bad Boys aren't the same anymore. After what those Yankees fans did to us, the Bad Boys will never truly be what they were before that incident...

I truly cannot fathom how you haven't just burnt yourselves out yet. I mean, look at that crew from Athens; they didn't even bother keeping the group alive once things settled down and they recovered. It’s honestly grim. As far as I am concerned, the Bad Boys simply don't exist anymore. Given what those guys did to us, the Bad Boys will never be the same organization they were before that whole mess happened...
Well, if we're following that line of reasoning—that a group should just dissolve every time they take a beating—then most of you lot should have been shut down a long time ago given how often you guys used to get trampled🤷

When exactly did that happen? You are simply manufacturing myths out of thin air.
Allow me to clarify a few things for you:
To begin with, the Black and Gold Army was the very first organized supporter group in the entire region.
The Bad Boys were simply another group attempting to emulate the Black and Gold Army, followed by the Celtics fans, and eventually the Yankees supporters...
The Black and Gold Army existed long before the current iterations of the group. Even the unaffiliated supporters used to descend upon Chicago just to clash with the crowds whenever the New York Yankees or the Boston Celtics came to town. Don't start complaining now—anyone who was actually there will tell you that is simply the truth.
Back in the pre-war era, the Black and Gold Army was easily the largest group on any away terrace. Even today, that legacy remains unchanged.
Until the mid-90s, the Black and Gold Army used to march through Times Square quite regularly without anyone giving them a second glance.
When you realized that the devil was playing such a cruel joke, did you suddenly start obsessing over telescopes and setting up ambushes like those insurgents?
It seems you have finally adjusted to the current climate and shifting trends.
What I am trying to say is that every era has its own challenges. How can you be so certain—how can you be so absolutely convinced—that your time is the peak?
Perhaps that very arrogance will be your undoing in the next round. Why are you so certain that you are the strongest, the most capable, or that your convictions actually carry weight? 😬
I watch the games exclusively from the east stands at the Rose Bowl. Looking over at the north side, I am not entirely convinced that you all possess any sort of inherent superiority. Is that really the case? Then again, everyone experiences their own share of peaks and valleys. You might find it wise to keep a lid on the arrogance; karma has a way of catching up with you when you least expect it.
😁
Take this from someone who has seen just about everything life has to throw at you. Consider it friendly advice: there is really no need for such arrogance. 🙂
It truly amuses me to see how incensed you become over my registration, especially when you attempt to counter me with such so-called "arguments."

I honestly don't know how you haven't burned yourselves out yet. How did that crew from Atlanta not just disband entirely once they got back and recovered? It’s grim. As far as I'm concerned, the Bad Boys aren't even the same entity anymore. After what those guys did to you, the Bad Boys will never truly be what they were before that incident...
Just imagine when a group that's supposedly "extinguished" turns around and embarrasses your own group, despite having half the numbers. What then? Will you just fade away into nothingness?
Look, placidheron19, it's 2016 now and the rules of engagement have changed. If you're looking toward the East Coast to decide who's actually superior or stronger, more power to you, I suppose.😁.
These debates are frankly absurd.

boldtiger7 said:Just imagine when a dead group like that embarrasses your crowd, which is half the size... what then, you guys just fold?
It’s 2016 now and things work a little differently. If you think looking at whoever's dominating from the East makes you look better, more power to you. 😁.
Man, these debates are ridiculous.
Come on, you're all just calculating everything. You back off when you're facing a top-tier crew, but you push hard when you think it'll be an easy win. If a powerhouse walked up to your section right now, you'd probably tuck tail. You only claim things were "even" when it suits you. All you do is pick fights when you know you've got the upper hand, while those die-hard fans from LA go all in on every single scrap—that's why things actually happen. And don't act like you didn't know how raw those other groups could get. 😉

Jesse Collins47 said:Look, you can't just rally a massive crowd on a game day when your own team isn't even playing. If you guys had some rival gang storming through town during a Lakers vs. Celtics showdown, would you really be able to mobilize 500 people instantly? Hell no. What does BBB have to do with the local basketball scene? It’s nonsense to act like Chelsea FC fans should have full mobilization power on a day they aren't even watching their club play. Plus, we all know those rivals didn't used to show up to games like this; it's just their usual tactical bullshit and press releases about skipping the regional league to cover their tracks. They're brilliant tacticians—they rely on the element of surprise, and it works for them now, but one of these days their luck will run out and they'll run straight into a group of hardcore street ballers and get absolutely wrecked. 🎉
And all this talk about thousands of fans supposed to be hunting those guys down around the city is just laughable, considering everyone—including the rivals themselves—knows exactly what's been going down in New York all these years. Honestly, that’s exactly why they did it. There was no better time to pull this stunt than right now. If they had tried this ten years ago, I bet they would have been shut down immediately. Back then, with BBB, half the city was ready to jump in. Nowadays, frankly, people just don't give a damn anymore. Even the guys who used to be super active aren't interested in these rivals anymore; that collective focus is gone. So then you act surprised that BBB is heading back to the stands? The primary reason is that we can't let it happen where these thugs can swagger through any part of New York without anyone giving a shit that they're parading around. That's why you need to stop acting shocked that BBB is returning to the stands. They're coming back so nobody can just roam the streets however they want, and specifically so these guys can't pose around the city for thirty minutes and sell some fake story about orgies. Because if they had stayed in that spot any longer without the cops reacting, they definitely would have been jumped. And you think the fans could cover every corner of the city today? Not a chance, especially since that massive crowd we used to have was lost because of the boycott. Just think back to the basketball situation with the Partizan fans—do you honestly think those thugs wouldn't have been met by a crew of Chelsea FC supporters ready to scrap before the police even arrived? I think so. Back then, there were thousands of people ready for action; now, there's a few hundred, and by the time those few hundred gather, the cops have already picked up the thugs, and then they start talking about incursions and orgies. You idiots are going to complain about how we got played, and then wonder why we're ending the boycott and going back. Seriously, make up your minds and stop trying to manage BBB for them. Personally, I know both those thugs and the current version of BBB could handle themselves, so I don't care what they say. If things had been more predictable, they would have fared even worse than our guys did in Athens. That's the bottom line. Meanwhile, you guys sit here analyzing and crying about orgies. Don't act horrified that we're returning. Neither you nor those guys would ever allow themselves to fall this low fighting against the mafia—I'm 100% sure of that. So, you and those thugs are the last people on Earth who should be lecturing BBB about our capabilities. Let's just mock them on Internet; mock them because they live for compromises. If BBB had lived their fan life that way, the Athens thing never would have happened, and those thugs would never have stepped foot in New York without heavy consequences. That's my point. Go ahead and keep talking whatever you want; I'm done with these stupid debates.
Look, buddy, mind your own business and give me a wide berth. Just because I've had a few drinks doesn't mean I'm stupid or don't get what's going on here.
Man, you’re just talking nonsense. Cut the crap; I’m getting a headache just trying to read this. And so what if your futsal crew runs into ours? Your guys are basically street fighters, while the Red Sox fans are acting like little kids. Honestly, I hope they get crushed, but let's be real—the Red Sox are miles ahead of you right now in every single way. Right now, you guys aren't even in the same league as the big teams; you can barely hold your own.

Dennis Davis97 said:Come on, you guys are all just playing numbers games. You sit on your hands when things look easy, but suddenly you're all in when you think there's an advantage. If you ran into a real powerhouse in a tough neighborhood, you wouldn't be talking this way... It's the same story every time teams were evenly matched; it was always a toss-up. But you lot only look for matchups when you know you've got the upper hand. Meanwhile, those die-hard fans from Chicago go all in on every single scrap, no matter how messy. That’s why things actually happen... and it's not like you didn't see what happened when people acted like thugs against a real crew😉
kalkuliranje? Please. If the situation were reversed, like what we saw out in the islands, I bet most of you would still be arguing over nonsense just to drag things out. There's no point in debating this anymore... Honestly, the smartest move would be to leave the BBB talk to the idiots. Let them keep posting their endless takes on topics that have already been chewed up and spit out sixty-seven times over.
#1831 ·
Carl Mitchell45 said:kalkuliranje? Honestly, if the ratio was flipped like it is back on the islands, I bet half these stupid rules would just get extended indefinitely. But there's no point arguing about it anymore... honestly, the smartest move for the BBB thread would be to just let the casuals handle it. Let them post their little takes on topics we've already chewed through sixty-seven times.
Stop playing dumb. You know as well as I do that it all balanced out. There were times when you guys were giving, and times when you were getting. The bottom line is that you were better organized and, most of the time, you actually showed up with a top-tier crew, whereas the other side usually fell short—and even when they didn't, it was barely enough. I don't know what the vibe is like today, but time will tell.

Dennis Davis97 said:What should have been done? A massive crowd descended on the city and attacked them, and they wouldn't even step out of the bars... besides, the local ultras did everything they possibly could at that moment.
So they refused to leave the bar?! 🤣
It’s easy to act tough when you don't have the guts to face someone up close and instead just throw rocks from twenty yards away.

cosmicbear15 said:

I mean, if it’s your own hometown, you should have the guts to step up and face them hand-to-hand instead of just chucking rocks from twenty yards away.
What can I even tell you when you weren't there to see how it actually went down... just believe your eyes. It was obvious as hell.
You guys were walking around town way too often lately, yet you couldn't find the nerve to even try and stop them. What more is there to say?
#1834 ·
Dennis Davis97 said:you guys can't even fill up a salad bar
There were more people watching the 2009 matchup between the Galaxy and the Hearts after they got knocked out by Salzburg than there were at the rematch between Hajduk and Maccabi for a shot at the Europa League, and that was when things were actually feeling good with the club. I guess it's just facts, but over 2,000 people bought tickets for some exhibition futsal game this past Friday at 7 PM at the local arena. Maybe there would have been even more if it had been on a Saturday.

Dennis Davis97 said:What can I even say to you when you clearly don't grasp how things actually unfolded? Just trust your own eyes; the reality of the situation is plain to see.
you guys have been wandering around the city so much lately without ever finding the backbone to actually step up and make a move. There isn't much left for me to say.
First off, you really don't seem to understand what you're talking about with these kinds of remarks. When things get heated, you just have to stand your ground—please, don't go there. Honestly, don't. Speculating about who would have fared better is nothing more than childish chatter found on some random internet forum.
As for your comments regarding strolling through Chicago and lacking any real courage, you've essentially made your point. It seems a significant portion of your group prefers to simply sit back and watch the crackdown happen.
#1836 ·
Jonathan Barnes5 said:Look, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about here. Stop spreading such nonsense. When the heat is on, you step up—don't be that guy. Seriously, just don't. All this talk about who wins or loses is nothing more than playground gossip for kids and internet trolls.
You’ve basically covered everything there is to say about wandering around Chicago. And that's exactly how you guys look at it. The crackdown.Regarding a good portion of you guys...
It’s always just a matter of calling it what it is: repression.
If you’re talking about street brawls between rival fans, the penalties are the same whether it's happening in Split, Reno, or NYC. So, that excuse just doesn't hold water. You guys need to face reality and admit you're miles away from being an elite group right now. Just own up to it and start working on getting better.

It’s truly incredible how much passion and fire you all show behind a keyboard... I can only imagine if half that energy was brought to the stands at Hard Rock Stadium. In a country dealing with such chronic budget shortages—an epidemic affecting everything from our legal system to healthcare—it's funny how everyone finds the time to argue about who has the bigger ego. It's always just more noise about the Hook or Athletic Bilbao... Anyway, is anyone else having issues with sending messages? I used to be able to post shorter notes, but lately, the second I write more than four sentences, I get blocked...
#1839 ·
I honestly don't understand why people like this aren't banned immediately. They just keep posting the exact same mindless garbage over and over again. It’s incredibly frustrating.

placidheron19 said:When exactly were we stepping on anyone? You're just making up myths out of thin air.
Let me break this down for you real simple:
First off, the Dawg Pound was the first organized supporter group in the whole ex-Yugoslavia region...
The BBB were the second group trying to ride that same wave, then came the hooligans, then the Red Star fans later on...
The Dawg Pound even predates the Torcida-TKZ crowd. Back in the day, there were independent groups who’d roll into Chicago just to scrap with the teams from Belgrade when they played in NYC (don't start whining now, because if you ask any old-timer, they'll tell you that's the straight truth)
Leading up to the war years, the Dawg Pound was easily the biggest presence in the away sections, and honestly, they still are...
Up until the mid-90s, the Dawg Pound used to stroll through Times Square without anyone giving them a second glance.
Once you guys realized things had turned sour, you started playing it smart—setting up ambushes and looking for trouble like those guys from Belgrade...
Fine, you adapted to the times and the trends...
What I'm trying to get at is that every era brings its own vibe, so how can you be so damn certain—totally convinced—that you're the top dogs?
Maybe that ego is going to bite you in the ass during your next run; why are you so sure you're the best, the strongest, and the ones with all the attitude?😬
Look, I watch the games exclusively from the east stand at Hard Rock Stadium, and from where I'm sitting (looking toward the north), I don't see anything about you being superior, man. But hey, I'm just saying, everyone has their ups and downs, so you might want to pipe down before it comes back to haunt you when you least expect it...
😁
And I'm telling you this as someone who's actually seen a thing or two in life—take it as friendly advice—don't get too cocky.🙂
It actually amuses me how worked up you're getting over my post, trying to hit me back with your "arguments."
I didn't intend to get dragged into these endless debates because they literally never end, but let's clear up this myth about your massive numbers once and for all. Honestly, I can't help but remember the 80s in Belgrade. You guys—specifically the students from the coast—would gather around the university district totally unbothered; nobody would even look at you sideways, and you'd head toward the stadium in peace. People were drinking, celebrating, but there was no real hostility or provocation. It stayed like that until '88-'89. Same deal in Chicago through the early 90s. To some, you were likable; to others, you were punks, but nobody messed with you. Even when we were at our absolute worst, we got a decent welcome there, usually with a police escort. Not to make us sound like superheroes—let's be real—most of their attacks were just verbal stuff, some taunting, or grabbing the guys who stood out too much or who the cops wanted cleared from the stands (like the late Kalimer). Sure, there were a few major incidents (the '86 Cup final, the station stuff), but generally, that was it. You guys simply always took the easy way out, and without the student crowd, you wouldn't have half the numbers we have, if not less.
